Mikerlange Barthelemy on His Equine Athlete’s Performance Post Tokyo Olympics

The equestrian sports have now been brought to life after the Tokyo Olympics’ culmination. Accordingly, Mikerlange Barthelemy has spoken about how he feels about his equine athletes’ performances on the biggest stage for sportspeople and the future of equestrian games, training, and fitness post-COVID-19.

“This year in the Olympics, I got to witness some of my clients perform on the highest stage in the world,” shares Mikerlange. “For those riders to get up in their rankings and also making sure their teammate is also in top shape and experienced for the task.”

Mike Barthelemy is a trainer and fitness expert who owns Limitless Performance, a brand of fitness that develops its clients in various training areas to be their very best. In the recently concluded Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, Barthelemy joined the team of Eugenio Garza, who represented Mexico in the Olympics.

Mikerlange Barthelemy is one of the country’s top equestrian sports trainers whose programs have helped develop some of the best in the field. His clients include Nayel Nassar, Jessica Springsteen, Ashley Bond, Darragh Kenny, Conor Swail, Bliss Heers, Ben Asselin, Sheer Levitin, Charlise Casas, and many others. Most might argue that very little goes into equestrian sports training, but professionals like Mike will tell you otherwise.

Horseback sports require more body conditioning than most would assume. Physically, there’s a lot of work that goes into becoming a good horseback rider. On top of the physiological demands are the psychological ones too. The horse and rider need to be in sync throughout, which takes a lot of focus and willpower. Mikerlange has become a namesake in the industry because he helps athletes achieve just that.

The equine trainer does a lot to provide his clients with as much guidance and conditioning as possible. On top of trying to be the best in his field, he also carries the burden of helping promote equestrian sports altogether. In the United States, horseback sports has some significant potential, given that the horsing industry has a value of $112 billion and that there are roughly 9.2 million horses spread across 2 million horse owners. Yet surprisingly, only 480,000 plus people join equestrian sports. Barthelemy hopes to help encourage more people to compete and sports lovers to follow the sport.

By helping develop some of the best talents, Mike hopes to promote equestrian sports more. And his trainee, Eugenio Garza’s entry into the Olympics is proof enough that he’s a man that’s up for the challenge. Garza finished two events in the equestrian contests and finished them. He looks forward to returning for the following games.

Despite being only twenty-eight years old, Mike Barthelemy has accomplished a lot. Still, he hopes to push the limits of equestrian training and fitness for the many years to come. He currently resides in Wilmington, Florida, where he operates most of his training programs at Limitless Performance.

Mikerlange is extremely hungry for personal growth and won’t stop until he achieves his goals and more. Garza’s Olympic days were a dream come true, and he looks forward to helping him get back to the big stage again.
