How to Prepare for the Impending Recessionary Storm

The US economy is a credit-based economy that follows a cyclical pattern called a credit cycle. Typically, a credit cycle is characterized by growth, slowdown, contraction, which is also called recession, and recovery phases. During the last few decades, the span of a credit cycle in the US has ranged from six to nine years.

The last US credit cycle post-2008 recession was unusually long, which was based on a number of factors. Foremost, the great recession of 2008 was quite severe, which meant the recovery phase as the economy emerged from the recession, was longer than normal. The financial sector was the worst impacted during that recession, resulting in an impact that cascaded across the entire economy.

To avoid systemic failure of the financial ecosystem like the one observed in that recession, numerous regulations were introduced with the aim of enhancing the safety and soundness of major global and national financial institutions. One of the key objectives of those regulations was to require banks and financial institutions to have a sufficient capital position that would enable them to withstand severe economic shocks.

Financial institutions went through a large-scale, multi-year transformation to become fully compliant with the new regulations. This, coupled with a conservative outlook by most major banks towards the credit side of their business, slowed the pace of growth in the last cycle.

This credit cycle was also marked by a long growth phase which was fueled by an extended period of unusually low lending rate environment set by the Federal Reserve’s fiscal policy. The COVID-19 pandemic was an aberration that unexpectedly snapped the last US credit cycle. The nationwide lockdown necessitated by the pandemic forced the economy into a recession. The pandemic, as well as its economic repercussions, led to an unprecedented response by the government, which introduced numerous economic relief measures to assist households as well as businesses.

The government-backed relief measures resulted in trillions of dollars being pumped into the economy, creating significant liquidity in the market. They were followed by persistent supply-chain disruptions caused by the lingering pandemic, energy supply volatility caused by sanctions resulting from the war in Europe, and food supply challenges caused by two of the world’s largest grain producers at loggerheads. The confluence of these events has resulted in high inflation since 2021, peaking at a four-decade high of 9.1 percent. This left the US Federal Reserve with no choice but to swiftly raise interest rates in an effort to cool down the economy with the hopes of containing inflation.

Fed’s actions mark the economy entering into a slowdown phase. The most likely outcome of such an attempt to stabilize the economy, as observed during previous credit cycles, is the onset of a recession leading to the contraction of the economy. The nature and severity of the recession will be determined by a variety of factors, including inflationary trends, geopolitical outlook, lending standards and credit quality of outstanding loans, overvaluation of assets creating potential bubbles across different sectors of the economy, and policy measures.

Ignoring the recessionary aberration imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the US economy has now entered a phase that mirrors the tail phase of the post-2008 credit cycle. This precursory phase to a recession calls for preparedness on the part of consumers and financial institutions when it comes to credit consumption and extension, respectively.

I had the opportunity to discuss the current macroeconomic outlook and its ramifications for U.S. consumers and businesses with Mr. Sundeep Yerapotina, Chief Risk Officer for Rewards Branded Credit Cards at Citibank. He is a subject matter expert in the field of personal finance, credit strategy and risk management.

“As the economy has started showing signs of deceleration, it is important for households and businesses to brace for a recessionary storm. We will be able to gauge its intensity when it makes landfall,” said Yerapotina. “Consumers need to start shoring up their rainy day funds to be able to withstand disruption to their primary sources of income for up to three to four quarters. As borrowing cost and debt repayment burden rises with increasing interest rates, consumers should try to avoid unsustainable discretionary spending to not accrue debt on credit products with high interest rates. They should also explore options to consolidate debt to proactively manage their repayment burden. Businesses, on the other hand, need to stay cautiously optimistic in the near team. They should account for the risk of a recession in their investment decisions for short-term projects. It is important for businesses to build flexibility in their planning, to be able to reprioritize in the event of a recession.”

“Unlike the 2008 recession, major banks in the US have a strong capital position today. Many of them are maintaining higher capital ratios than the regulatory minimum required and should consider raising them further based on the risk profile and sensitives of their portfolios,” Yerapotina opined. Based on his experience in developing industry-leading risk management solutions for recessionary environments, he added that “banks at some point should tighten their underwriting and credit management standards to prudently balance extension of credit to customers who have the capacity to repay, while limiting it to those who may be vulnerable in a recessionary environment, risking default on their debt repayment commitments.”

Navigating the US economy through this uncertain period calls for measured actions by the Fed, the US government, businesses, financial institutions, and consumers. Avoiding major blows to the economy and post-recession scars such as the ones left by the 2008 recession should be the target. Only time will tell how we fared.

This will help boost your efficiency and effectiveness, placing you ahead of your competition. In addition, you can incorporate and merge various attributes and skills. Artists, in particular, not only have to master the art of music-making but also handle the business side of music. Being versatile also allows creative freedom, which is essential for artists seeking to exploit their potential fully.

Vehid Abdullahi is a multi-talented artist and music producer. He is an innately gifted producer, artist, and actor. Vehid believes that you have to work hard if you want a good life with a successful career, emotional satisfaction, and trustworthy friends. Luck can only take you so far; the rest is entirely up to you—this includes the amount of effort you put in every day and your ability to learn from your mistakes. “Don’t think for a moment that someone else is going to fight your battles with the same vigor and devotion as you would,” he adds.

Vehid’s dream is to grow and expand his musical influence. He wants to produce more tracks and film and television productions, working and collaborating with other talents.

The Everyday Menswear Line You Didn’t Know You Needed

When people decide what clothes to wear, they think about several things: how comfortable it will be, how it will look, and whether it will be suitable for whatever activity they are planning. While few clothing lines can excel in all three categories, the amazing menswear brand Bearbottom has set out to deliver consumers excellent and responsibly-designed clothing that isn’t just comfortable and durable, but also looks good.

When the entire world shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic, many people got used to working from home and wearing more comfortable clothing items. However, as our daily lives return to a stronger sense of normalcy, we don’t want to sacrifice this feeling of comfort that we have become accustomed to — and this is what Bearbottom is here for.

Clothes you will be proud to wear

One of the main features of Bearbottom’s clothing lines is that they are all wear-tested by the entire team. Consumers can know that when they buy a product from Bearbottom, they are purchasing a product designed with performance and comfort in mind. “We always make products that our team would be proud and excited to wear,” explains Bearbottom’s founder Robert Felder. “That’s how we know our products are the best of the best.”

Bearbottom’s clothing is made with stretch fabrics and performance features that allow you to focus less on what you’re wearing and more on what you’re doing. “Our goal is to create products that are more than comfortable enough to wear at home, but also stylish and durable enough to be worn when you go outside,” asserts Felder. “Many of our products even hold up as outdoor wear — durable enough for travel, activity, and daily wear-and-tear.”

Sustainably-made clothing

The team at Bearbottom also prides itself on making its clothing with sustainable practices. The fashion industry has been experiencing a significant shift towards sustainability, with e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) companies leading the way. Selling their products through their own company and online storefront allows Bearbottom to make their clothing on their own terms, focusing on meeting customer demands for both comfort and environmental consciousness.

To make their products more eco-friendly, Bearbottom makes many of their products using post-consumer-recycled materials and natural dyes, creating less overall waste. Bearbottom’s production partners do everything possible to limit water consumption. Many of their water-intensive facilities have on-site treatment capabilities, helping to limit impact by reclaiming 90% of the water used. “We strive to do things differently,” says Felder. “How do you make a difference if you don’t do things differently?”

One of the trends that Bearbottom specializes in is shorter inseams. In men’s shorts, inseams as short as 5.5” or shorter have been growing in popularity and demand. Bearbottom’s Stretch Short and Tech Short both offer 5.5” inseams and have been some of the company’s best-sellers. “Emphasizing comfort while still offering the sleek look that men want in their shorts, our Stretch Short and Tech Short are sure to become an everyday part of your wardrobe,” Felder explains.

Building your fall wardrobe with Bearbottom

Heading into the fall and winter seasons, comfort is more important than ever, and Bearbottom’s Fall/Winter line, the Loft Collection, offers that in spades. Featuring joggers, hoodies, crewnecks, and shorts, the Loft Collection offers precisely what any man would need to stay comfortable and warm, whether at home or out and about. And, of course, the Loft Collection comes in the browns, reds, and grays characteristic of the typical fall style.

Men’s fashion, in particular, emphasizes comfort, but it is also essential not to sacrifice style or professionalism for a feeling of comfort. Bearbottom’s clothing line perfectly balances a great look and extraordinary comfort. “Of course, we want our customers to feel good while wearing our products,” says Felder, “But beyond that, we also want them to feel good about wearing them. We achieve this by using sustainable practices and eye-catching designs that you will be proud to wear.”

Christopher M. Aboy Inspires Others by Hosting T.A.G. Muay Thai’s First Female Seminar With Anissa Meksen

The path leading toward the fulfillment of a dream is paved with challenges and difficulties that can ultimately mold any person into the strongest version of themselves. True enough, anyone who has embarked on the journey of accomplishing goals can attest to the significance of embodying courage and perseverance in the face of any endeavor. Such is the case with Christopher M. Aboy, the esteemed founder of T.A.G. Muay Thai. Through his relentless drive, he is now teaching interested individuals martial arts and equipping them with the skills to defend themselves against danger and harm.

Recently, T.A.G. Muay Thai hosted a seminar for their first-ever female athlete, Anissa Meksen, a French-Algerian 18-times world kickboxing champion under multiple organizations, such as Glory, ISKA, WAKO, the WBC, and many more. Chris brought her out right after her most recent victory in One Championship last October 1, 2022, against Dangkongfah Banchamek. She flew all the way from Singapore, came back home to France, and then went to the United States for the event. To date, Anissa Meksen has a record of 122 fights with 118 wins and 35 Knockouts.

During the seminar, Anissa Meksen taught different combos primarily directed toward controlling distance and angling. By the end, as the attendees were about to take a group picture, the girls were going to kneel in the front row. However, Anissa made quite an impression on the attendees when she stopped the girls from kneeling and asked the boys to get on their knees instead. This gesture got a big standing ovation from the girls attending the said event.

Aside from getting the T.A.G. treatment, Anissa Meksen was able to immerse herself in other experiences during her stay in the United States. As a matter of fact, she got to visit Washington D.C. and other major monuments, including the Washington Monument itself. Although she is most prominent for her outstanding performance in the field of martial arts, the star athlete also enjoys other hobbies like collecting sneakers. As a big sneakers enthusiast and a huge Michael Jordan fan, she has over a hundred pairs of Jordans.

Proving to be unstoppable at her game, Anissa Meksen has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. Quite the contrary, she believes that her career has only just begun. She wants to inspire aspiring athletes to go after their dreams and be fearless in the pursuit of their goals.

In an interview, Chris revealed that he aims to continue doing for others what he has done for Anissa Meksen. According to the luminary, nothing brings him joy more than being able to help dreamers reach the pinnacles of success. At the heart of his craft lies the underlying goal of teaching others to become stronger, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. In fact, it was for this very reason that he created T.A.G. Muay Thai, a Muay Thai gym located in Sterling, Virginia.

Hailed as the premier Thai boxing center in Northern Virginia, his gym, T.A.G. Muay Thai, has already established a reputable standing for being the go-to place for anyone who wants to learn self-defense, participate in a combative sport, and engage in martial arts and other fitness-related activities.

Scotty Austin Shows the Power of Passion and Tenacity in One’s Pursuit of Success

Passion can drive people toward the pinnacles of greatness. Many highly accomplished authorities often share that it fuels them, enabling them to translate their visions into reality. Although maintaining a zealous spirit has its way of taking people to greater heights, solely relying on it is useless if a person does not commit himself to take action on their goals. Dreams have a better chance of coming true once hard work and determination come into play. Intimately aware of this fool-proof combination, Scotty Austin is on his way to dominating the music and entertainment industry with grace and finesse.

Since dipping his toes into the industry, Scotty Austin has always had an incredible affinity for music. Hailing from Parsons, Tennessee, this self-starter began to take an interest in music when he started to play around with instruments in kindergarten while participating in the family band at church. At a young age, he was well-versed in playing a number of instruments, which fueled his spirit to delve deep into the trade. By the late 90s, Scotty started expanding his horizons and branching out to multiple styles, such as playing percussion instruments and performing classical guitar pieces. With this vast range of experiences he held under his arsenal, he soon earned a spot as the band leader of the official NASCAR Rolling Thunder band for an entire season while winning fourth place in the International Blues Contest representing Memphis, Tennessee. From then on, Scotty continued to bloom as a musician and went on to carve a path of his own.

Over the years, Scotty Austin has begun to cement a stellar reputation across the industry by producing numerous tracks that have captured the hearts of many listeners around the world. As a matter of fact, his distinct sound and expressive song lyrics have landed him a hit video game soundtrack with the band Supernova Syndicate for the smash hit game Dead Rising. He continued to hone his skills and worked with various producers and artists in Nashville, Tennessee, leading him to become the band leader for one of the city’s most prominent singer-songwriters, Jonathan Singleton. He was also asked to join Saving Abel, which sparked tremendous growth in his career.

Today, Scotty Austin continues to make waves in the music industry with the recent release of his new single entitled “Money.” The song was released by Stryker Records and produced by multi-platinum producer Malcolm Springer. It will be distributed by Ingrooves, a Universal Music Group company.

“Money” is a song that portrays the singer’s passion for music while demonstrating today’s society in a nutshell. Scotty Austin explained, “It’s about making fun of the greed in society right now. [It talks about] our politicians’ big spending. I pay taxes! They should go to more important things like mental health, drug addiction and other issues.” He added, “It’s how I see society now.”

Although passion has effectively fueled Scotty Austin to climb the summits of success, his dreams of becoming an artist would not have materialized had it not been for his persevering spirit. With no intentions of slowing down any time soon, he wishes to solidify himself even further in the industry one day. Above anything else, Scotty wishes to inspire hopefuls through his story.

How To Strategically Time the Launch Of SaaS Business

If you’re in the business of launching a SaaS business, you know that timing is everything. You don’t want to launch too early or too late; you want to hit the sweet spot where your customers are ready and willing to switch over but also haven’t had a chance to get attached to the old system. But how do you particularly know when that time is? And how do you make sure you hit it without blowing your entire launch budget?

This blog post will explore how to strategically time the launch of your particular SaaS business. We will discuss key considerations such as customer readiness, pricing, and more. By following these particular tips, you can ensure a successful launch without breaking the bank. There’s no doubt that timing the launch of a new SaaS business can be an important factor in its success. However, there can be a lot of uncertainty and ambiguity associated with this process, which can add to the challenge. That’s where a paystub generator comes in handy. A paystub generator can help you calculate accurate budgets for your new SaaS business. By using data from your past payrolls, the generator can provide useful information about your company’s revenue and expenses. This information can help you determine when your new SaaS will be profitable and able to sustain itself.

  1. Know Your Competition

There’s no denying that the competitive landscape for software as a service (SaaS) businesses has become more crowded in recent years. As companies from all corners of the business world seek to enter the SaaS market, it can be hard for startups to stand out and make a lasting impression.

Fortunately, there are specific things you can particularly do to help your SaaS business compete effectively. First, know your competition. Get familiar with their products and services, their pricing models, and how they operate. This information will help you develop strategies that align with your own strengths while minimizing the weaknesses of your rivals.

Second, focus on customer satisfaction. Make sure your customers feel like they’re getting value for their money and that you’re responsive and helpful when they have questions or problems. This attention to detail will go a long way in building loyalty among your customers and helping you retain them over time.

Finally, stay ahead of the curve. Keep up with technological trends and adopt new technologies as soon as they hit the market so that you can keep up with changing customer expectations. And remember: innovation is key in any competitive industry! If you can particularly come up with something new and unique that sets you apart from your rivals, chances are good that people will take notice.

  1. Create A Roadmap

Creating a roadmap for a SaaS business is an important part of planning. By mapping out the steps and milestones that need to be particularly completed in order to reach your business goals, you can make better decisions about when to launch your product and how to prioritize your work.

Some things to consider when creating your roadmap include the following:
-What are the next steps needed for your product to be fully launched?
-What are the major customer needs that need to be addressed?
-When will you have enough revenue or customers signed up to support your full launch?
-What are the risks and challenges associated with launching now versus waiting?

  1. Research Your Market

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to when to launch a SaaS business, as the timing will depend on factors such as the stage of your business, the market conditions at the time, and your own personal timeline. However, there are some general tips that can help you strategize your launch.

1. Consider your company’s stage. If your company is still in its startup phase, it may not be ready to go public with its SaaS product yet. Instead, focus on building up the customer base and improving user experience before expanding into particular markets or launching new products.

2. Evaluate the market conditions at the time of your launch. If there are already many competitors in an existing market segment, it may be harder to gain a foothold there. Instead, try to target new or untapped markets where you have a competitive advantage. Alternatively, wait until there’s more opportunity and competition in an older market segment before jumpstarting your business in that category.

3. Take account of your own personal timeline and goals. Some entrepreneurs prefer to take their time when starting a new business, while others are motivated by deadlines and want to get their product out there as soon as possible. Try to strike a balance, particularly between these two factors, so that you can reach your long-term goals while also generating short-term benefits for your company.

  1. Build A Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

Building an MVP for a new SaaS business can be a very valuable way to test the market and see if your business is ready for public launch. By building an MVP, you can quickly and easily develop a version of your product that is as close to complete and functional as possible. You can also use this version of your product to gather customer feedback and determine the areas you need to improve before going public with your service.

There are specific things to keep in mind when particularly designing and building an MVP for your new SaaS business:

1. Choose a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that is Functional

The first thing to keep in mind when designing an MVP is that you should select a product that is functional. This means that the product should be able to do at least one task or action that represents what your final product will be able to do. By selecting a functional MVP, you can more easily determine which features are critical for success and focus your development efforts on those components.

2. Build A Basic Version of Your Product

When building an MVP, it is important to start with a basic version of your product. This version should only include the essential features required for testing purposes. By starting with a minimalistic version of your product, you can more quickly determine if there are any flaws or problems with it. Additionally, by starting small, you can better gauge customer reaction and learn what features are most popular

  1. Test, Improve And Launch

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to when to launch a SaaS business, as the timing and approach will depend on the specific business and product. However, some general tips can help you decide when to launch:

1. Do your research
Before launching a SaaS business, it’s important to research and ensure you have a strong understanding of the market, your competition, and your customers. This will help you determine how much of your product or service you should offer initially and which features need to be prioritized.

2. Get feedback from early adopters
Once you have a good understanding of what needs to be particularly changed or added in order to improve your product or service, it’s important to get feedback from early adopters. This will allow you to gather data about what people are actually using and enjoying, which will help you identify potential customer segments and develop marketing campaigns tailored toward them.

3. Build momentum early on

Since most businesses grow slowly at first, it’s important to build momentum early on in order to attract more customers and investors. This can be particularly done by increasing the number of users who are actively using your product or service, planning special giveaways or discounts for existing customers, or conducting targeted marketing campaigns.

  1. Monetize Your Business

It’s important to choose the right monetization strategy for your SaaS business. If you focus on subscriptions, be sure to offer value beyond the core service. For example, add features that enhance user productivity or make life easier. If you focus on charging for additional features or services, be sure to give users plenty of choices and let them control how much they pay. And finally, if you want to make money from ads, create compelling content that people will want to see. Regardless of which monetization strategy you choose, it’s important to have a plan in place and track results regularly so that you can adapt as needed.

Final Thoughts:

The launch of a SaaS business is a critical moment for any startup. Getting the timing right can mean the particular difference between success and failure. There are a few particular things to keep in mind when planning the launch of your SaaS business. First, you need to make sure your product is ready for prime time. Second, you need to create a marketing and PR plan that will generate buzz and particularly get people talking about your product. And finally, you need to have a solid plan for customer acquisition. If you can get all of these things right, you’ll be well on your way to a successful launch.

Laughter’s the best medicine with Mike King, author of Dad Spelled Backwards

This is the story of Mike King, dentist, stand-up comic, author, writer of musicals and a one-man-show, husband, and father.

You’ve got to be a little off to do standup comedy as a profession. Maybe even more so if you were already a practicing dentist. And even more so to do all the other things Mike is doing. The drive to take risks must run deep with Mike King.

Where it all began: He grew up on the West Side of Denver, Colorado where he could look out his bedroom window and see the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains. He liked running around with friends in his middle-class neighborhood where no one seems to lock their doors, watching Bewitched, and eating Chuck Wagon burgers. His family was part of a formula that made them feel safe and that life was predictable. What could go wrong? So when his father decided he wanted to convert his friendly East Colfax Avenue neighborhood tavern into a strip club, the life he had as a twelve-year-old boy flew out the window.

His dad turned out to be a natural, talented showman. And his mom, in spite of being raised Jewish orthodox, was a gifted manager. The club flourished, and fame came quickly. Soon it was a place to go with lines of people waiting to get in. There was nothing like it. It was in the press, in the news and on television. “Sid King’s Crazy Horse Bar” in Denver was one of the largest burlesque houses west of the Mississippi. It was so famous, Clint Eastwood shot his film “Every Which Way but Loose” there.

But for Mike, there was no place to hide. Kids were talking about it at school, people stared or pointed at him, some gave him the thumbs up while others thumbs down. The low point was the row of strippers in the congregation at his bar mitzvah. They wore tight red and pink low-cut dresses. Later, friends, jokingly called it, “Kings’s Bar Titzvah.” But, in spite of all the teasing, it wasn’t long before he was performing for the grown ups. He learned a thing or two about showmanship at that club his parents ran.

Fast forward some years when Mike was out on his own. He had decided to become a dentist, specializing with kids. He built his practice in an unusual way: by relaxing the kids through incorporating comedy and magic tricks into his treatment. He has even written two children’s books, Flossopher and the Brushing Trees and Enamel the Camel. Entertaining is in Mike’s blood.

In the comedy-club circuit he’s known as “The Fifth Dentist”–you know– “Four out of five dentists recommend sugarless gum.” Mike appears regularly at Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, and Gotham Comedy Club. He has appeared on Comedy Central, America’s Funniest Home Videos, and An Evening at the Improv. He has opened many times for Ray Romano, and was featured in Newsweek magazine and the New York Times. He was recently selected to perform at the LA Comedy Festival. There is no doubt his professional life is very successful.

Then, when Mike was in his 50’s, he met his wife, Gaby. They fell head over heels in love, and Gaby was determined to become a mom. Mike wasn’t so sure about parenthood. However, he knew for sure that he wanted to make her happy. As they were continually trying to make a baby, Mike began to wonder if you could die from having too much sex?! They were doing it all the time and everywhere, but unfortunately, no babies were forthcoming.

Eventually, they made the decision to adopt, only to discover that domestic adoption is often a long, costly process that is very emotionally difficult. They went from hope to despair, to hope, and back again many times over.

Mike King wrote a book about it. Dad Spelled Backward: A Journey Through the Maze of Love, Marriage, and Adoption is both hilarious and heart-wrenching. It is the candid account that is ultimately a testament to unconditional love. Mike recounts how he and Gaby were connected with one pregnant woman after another until they were finally given a baby, only to have to give the infant back when the birth mom changed her mind. This left them emotionally drained, and they even debated giving up the search.

Some couples may have broken up over such stress and heartbreak, but it only seemed to pull these two closer together. “I hope Dad Spelled Backward inspires people who want to, or are considering whether to, become parents. Mike says, “We all face obstacles in life, but if love prevails, it’s worth the struggle.”

You’ll laugh, and cry, and laugh some more with Gaby and Mike in this heartwarming story of one man’s journey into happy marriage and fatherhood. Mike’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife and their daughter in New York City. And somehow, Mike has managed to balance his love for pediatric dentistry with his love for the entertainment business, and his overall love of family.

How to Quit Your Job, Discover Your Purpose and Step Into a Career You Love in 90 Days

It’s no secret that the world has seen an enormous shift in the workforce. Deemed the Great Resignation, people have been quitting their jobs or switching careers in mass quantities since early 2021 in the wake of the Covid -19 pandemic.

Some of the reasons employees have done away with their jobs within the last year include hostile work environments, limited opportunities for career advancement, stagnant wages, and overall job dissatisfaction, to name a few. But how do you turn things around to find a job you enjoy that also helps you fulfill your purpose in life?

Finding herself moving from job to unfulfilling job, founder and CEO of Upwardly Paved Path, Davina Ware, believed there had to be a better way to find a career that made a difference in her life as well as in the lives of others. She quickly discovered that part of the problem is that many of us are in a job that doesn’t align with our passion, talents, and purpose.

90 Days is All it Takes

Determined to make her career struggles someone else’s shortcut, Ware created the 90-Day Career Fix, which will allow anyone stuck in an unfulfilling job to discover who they are, what they have to offer, and how they can match their skills to the career of their dreams.

On average, it takes six months to make a career change. Even after deciding to make a move, there is no guarantee people won’t end up in the same apathetic situation at a different company. That is where the 90-Day Career Fix differs from other programs that simply encourage people to move without setting them up for success. This program is divided into four phases to help people make significant career moves in half the time.

Phase 1 – Self Discovery

The first phase is about discovering who you are and what you want. But more than that, you will pinpoint your skills and spiritual gifts that make you unique and come facetoface with the things you do subconsciously to self-sabotage. During this discovery phase, you will take various assessments to learn more about yourself. Think of this stage as creating a snapshot of the talents and traits that are most dominant in you and how to use them better to do work you’ll love. One of the most significant obstacles that hinder people from being in a job they love is themselves. By honing in on your natural makeup, discovering what you do better than anyone else, and owning all you have to offer, you can finally be on the path to purpose.

Phase 2 – Career Matching

Once you can see all you have to offer, the second phase focuses on finding the career path that makes the most sense with your skills, personality, and talents. Finally, you will better understand the type of work environment and leadership that will allow you to thrive.

Phase 3 – Personal Branding

Now that you know who you are and which career best suits you, it’s time to build your brand. In this coaching phase, you will package yourself as the solution employers are looking for and differentiate yourself from the crowd. You will build an optimized resume and sharpen your interviewing skills through an evaluated mock interview.

Phase 4 – Job Search Strategies

The final stage prepares you to launch into your career on purpose. You will be coached on using the proper verbiage to get you hired, and you will design a job search strategy with employers looking for you instead of the other way around. At the end of 90 days, you’ll be ready to leave your stagnant job behind and start a career you love.

In a world of quiet quitting, dare to be bold. All it takes is 90 days to leave conformity and step into purpose. Don’t settle for a lackluster career that pays the bills. Instead, strive to achieve happiness and fulfillment in a job you love. For more information or to sign up for the 90-Day Career Fix, visit upwardlypavedpath.com
