Ivvi is a model, activist, businesswoman and producer

Ivvi Romão is the face of a new world generation and represents the transitional period of new fashion and new industry. The public demands models both on and off the catwalk. People love top models, but now they want them to use their spotlight to say important things and not just wear pretty dresses. She knows exactly how to do it.

Understanding this demand, Ivvi Romão is a model who uses her voice and freedom of expression to change the world while working for some of the most desirable brands in Europe and Brazil.

Born in the state of Alagoas, in Brazil, and today a Brazilian immigrant in Portugal, Ivvi is the image of the dream of youth who seek to make their dreams come true in many other ways.

At the age of 23, Ivvi lives in Lisbon and has become known and renowned as a model, businesswoman, and event producer, but she also stands out for her voice as an activist and citizen, as the voice of an entire generation in the discussion for more respect and tolerance these days. It is not difficult to find her in debates, events, and dialogues promoted by the media in Portugal and other countries. Before her rise in Portugal, Ivvi also lived in Dublin and London. She worked as a dancer at the Bolshoi Ballet until she was discovered as a model, which made her develop a talent for fashion, entrepreneurship, productions, etc.

As a woman who dismisses labels, Ivvi doesn’t shy away from difficult subjects. Aware of her responsibility as a citizen, she wants transgender people to be more respected and valued in fashion, in art, on the street, and everywhere else. She, who occupies so many positions, also assumed the role of including all kinds of people everywhere, starting with fashion, art, and hospitality.

As a model, she has already walked for the most sought-after designers in Europe and has been published by Vogue Portugal and Maxima, in addition to dozens of other international magazines and campaigns. As a businesswoman, she produces her own “Fund Fest” festival and manages her own career; as a citizen, she fulfills the agenda at events by sharing her experience as a Brazilian trans woman immigrant living in Europe and representing other people. She also shares her inner questions, her perspective on transphobia, and her experience with other transgender people.

On Instagram, Ivvi explores the European scene and shares with her audience her busy life between work as a model, castings, work as a producer, and interviews for the main local media.

Ivvi is a Brazilian woman from the Northeast who exudes beauty, style, and strength. Among her plans is a brief return to Brazil for fashion shows this year, but for the time being she will remain in Europe. She was recently invited by Revista Maxima de Portugal to speak at the Máxima Awards 2022 about the role of women in society and what it is like to play the role of representing people when reaching prominent positions.

She is currently filming her documentary about her life between Europe and Brazil.
