He shares 4 essential steps required for Entrepreneurs to reach peak performance in their business, health and life.
In order to be a peak performer, one must learn to focus on the important aspects of their business. This includes inculcating some strong habits and making some mindset developments.
Planning In Advance
Most successful entrepreneurs plan the tasks of their day at least one day in advance, mostly on the previous night. Doing this helps them prioritise their tasks beforehand, so they could first tick off the most important tasks first and then effectively conquer their daily goals on time.
This habit is simple enough to stick around to and brings enormous benefits as it helps declutter the mind and increase productivity.
Eliminating Multi-tasking
Handling multiple tasks at a time can lead to a huge drop in your productivity. It can make you lose focus from the task in hand, which would take more time to finish that task thereby wasting a lot of your time and energy. If you just switch to checking emails, or finishing off a report, in the middle of a task, it just slows you down and the next thing you know, you’re running behind deadlines.
An effective approach to working would be to block the time for the task in hand and not focussing on anything else unless you completely finish it. One could also try working in a distraction-free environment to do deep work.
Doing Less Achieving More
In today’s fast pacing world, we’re conditioned to think that being busier would bring us more results. However, if you drop the non-important aspects of your goal and focus only on the essentials, you’d rather achieve greater results and would notice a great shift in your productivity levels.
Shane believes in living a simplistic life wherein he helps his clients focus only on priority tasks at hand to remove all the excess baggage away from them.
Delegating Tasks
There are a vast number of responsibilities an Entrepreneur or Business Coach has to generally deal with and all cannot be completed by just one person. You might feel that you must do your tasks yourself to maintain the same level of quality, but it would just take up all your time and you’d end up losing out on other important things in your business.
Delegating can improve task efficiency and benefit your business as you can work on bigger things and grow faster. Moreover, it’ll provide you with the opportunity to grow and manage your own team and stimulate them to succeed.
In his own elite coaching service, Shane partners with entrepreneurs & business coaches to achieve their financial and personal goals via a results-guaranteed formula. He’s always developing systems and processes to find out new science and research in the area of peak performance to help his clients more than they bargained for.
