Alexander Moiseev: “One decision changed my life.”

Master personal growth coach, Alexander Moiseev, has not always been the confident, ambitious go-getter he is today. For years, he was unhappy at work, struggled with health problems and felt insecure in social settings. Now, he helps thousands of people transform their lives and careers. Read on to find out Moiseev’s most impactful tips for achieving goals quickly and strategically.

Generally speaking, the twenties tend to be a relatively care-free time for many people. However, you decided to change your life at 23 years old. What led to this decision?

– I had a stable job at a bank, friends, a comfortable car and housing, but I had no passion. Sometimes I would scroll through social media and see people who traveled a lot. To me, they embodied an aliveness and freedom that I could only dream of. I desperately wanted to live like this, too, but I had no idea how to get there. One day, I narrowly avoided a serious car wreck. From that point on, I made a promise to myself that I was going to work every day to change my life. I didn’t have a plan at that point, but I knew that if I started taking action, at least I had a chance.

Where did you start and what steps did you take?

– Somewhere I had heard the phrases, “If one person on earth has achieved something, then you can do it, too.” and “Only new actions bring new results.” I took these sayings to heart and began trying new things. Instead of watching other people travel on social media, I deleted all my apps and began actually going to new places myself. Soon after, I met my wife, Alla, and we began a very happy life together. However, after eight years of marriage and a couple of kids, I realized that I again needed to step up my game. I wasn’t providing enough for my family and I was determined to change that. I got into e-commerce and began selling various products online, like linens, medical gowns and GPS collars for dogs. Unfortunately, these businesses were not successful. Next, I decided to network and try to meet other business professionals so that I could learn from their experience. Soon I met my business partner, Amir. We started a few different businesses together, including a sewage installation company, Gor-Septic, two hostels in Los Angeles, a flooring company and a car rental business. Our businesses began to grow and my goal of providing a better financial future for my family was well on its way.

Do you believe that one decision can change your life?

– Yes! Now, at 31, I am a totally different person. I learned to control my emotions and believe in myself and I also worked through my limiting beliefs. I also changed my lifestyle by cutting out alcohol, cleaning up my diet and starting a workout program. This eliminated health problems that had bothered me for years and brought me the confidence I needed to finally meet the love of my life. I also became more intentional with my environment and the people in my life, making sure that my whole world was centered around growth and positive change. At this point, I have traveled to over 20 states and my income has increased over 10 times in the last year. But most importantly, I found my passion and purpose in life.

How did you decide to become a coach?

– At some point, I realized that I could turn just about any reasonable opportunity into a profitable business. I of course had read a lot of Tony Robbins, who once said, “The main key to success is the ability to give back.” It made me think about how much I love learning and helping others. The idea of supporting others to reach their potential and achieve success sounded really gratifying, so I became a coach.

Was it difficult to start?

– Compared to my other businesses, yes. In the first 1 and a half years, I invested over $20,000 and only made $50. It was depressing. But I always challenge myself to just work harder when something doesn’t work out. I completed over 50 courses in personal effectiveness, business, marketing and sales. My teachers were Tony Robbins, Ron Hubbard and Petr Davydov. I began studying NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) with Andrey Pligin and Alexander Gerasimov.

It seems like it all paid off! Tell us about the coaching program you developed.

– I created the My Power program, which enables you to reach peak productivity and reach your goals faster and easier, no matter what you want to achieve or where you live. The key behind my method is transforming your mindset. I am actually working on a plan to distill my method into a book, which I’m sure could touch thousands of lives.

Why can it be so difficult for folks to find success on their own, without coaching or outside help?

– If you want to learn how to play tennis, would you rather find a coach or read a textbook? I’d take the coach, it would save me tons of time and help me avoid pitfalls along the way. If you want to be good at something, find someone who is already good at it and they will take you from point A, where you are now, to point B, where you want to be. If you want to increase your productivity and transform your life, I’d love to welcome you to the My Power program.

Do you believe that coaching enables anyone to achieve success?

–  Yes! It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from, your age or life story. Your future is shaped by the current actions you are taking every day. Success is possible for everyone. You simply need to shift your mindset, create strong goals and know where you want to be. And last but not least, take action and commit to continuous self improvement.
