If you plan on utilizing renewable energy, such as solar panels, you can take advantage of tax incentives aimed at increasing the city’s battery storage capacity or the Clean Energy Systems Exemption, a property tax exemption for renewable energy systems.

START-UP NY grants the opportunity for businesses to operate tax-free for ten years when they are established near eligible college campuses, among other benefits.
