Aside from being trained by his parents since he was ten years old, the Chef Global’s Kitchen CEO was also mentored by Executive Chef Kevin Stout. Lory caught his mentor’s eye when he landed his first job at Food Glorious Food. Stout instantly saw Lory’s great leadership and culinary potential. The mentorship proved to be very helpful, and it motivated Lory to stay on top of his game. He finished at the top 1% of his class and joined Walt Disney World Resorts after that. During his time at Disney, he was exposed to the delectable cooking styles of a wide list of countries. Chef Lory’s passion for food drove him to visit other countries to experience their cooking style and spices for himself.
Ricardo Lory’s journey toward establishing Chef Global’s Kitchen remains an inspiration that he wishes to share with other aspiring chefs out there. More than anything else, it was his intense love for food that ignited his passion further. Being able to share the glorious taste of food from different countries with his clients is something that he finds great fulfillment in doing.
“My journey to becoming the owner of my franchise was marked by numerous milestones,” Ricardo Lory explained. “My experience has provided me with numerous significant opportunities for myself. These opportunities ranged from business ventures with established foundations such as Disney and catering for a branch of the NAACP. To even refining my own craft and receiving six culinary based-certifications in fields such as a Culinary Arts Nutritional Degree and Certification from the American Culinary Federation along the way,” he added.
