But they were determined; they believed in themselves and persevered to do what they believed in. And they accomplished their small dream or ambition to leave behind an act that we considered to be great.

In 2020, he joined the frontliners and became the Head Nurse for more than two years. As a fashion writer, he worked with the biggest designers like the impalpable Michael Cinco and Furne Amato. His works were published in Milan, Italy, London, the US, Canada, the Philippines, etc.
He collaborated with two Filipina Supermodels, Ria Bolivar and Wilma Doesnt. He is also a contributor to Illustrado and Victor Magazine. He won WeTelTV’s Fashion Influencer of 2022 and Filipino Fashion Wordsmith of 2023.

“This world has opened doors for me to see situations of Children living with HIV/AIDS under the DUYAN program. It found difficulties for families in the care of children, the secrecy of the child’s diagnosis, administration of antiretroviral, financial, hospitalizations, prejudice, and the child’s mother’s death. As facilities mentioned, the fact that the child accepts the diagnosis obtains benefits and support from family, neighbors, and friends.
I won’t be a COVID-19 nurse or an Editor in Chief forever. That’s reality. However, I could change another career strategy by going back to the job that opened doors for me abroad, which is teaching. I was reading a couple of articles about kids with Down Syndrome and watched YouTube, and I was interested in working with them as my 2nd mission.
Children diagnosed with Down syndrome frequently experience delayed speech and language development. Generally, they encounter more challenges in acquiring expressive language skills, i.e., the ability to communicate verbally, compared to their proficiency in comprehending spoken language, known as receptive language. Down syndrome often manifests as a mild to moderate intellectual impairment, influencing learning abilities in various ways. These children commonly exhibit delays in speech and motor skills and may require assistance with aspects of self-care, including dressing and grooming.
And by that, I wanted to share my knowledge with them.
