“Taking the game by storm” is quite a grand plan, but that is exactly what American hip-hop artist and fashion designer Drip Kultur plans to do. And in less than five years, he is well on his way to doing just that. Created in 2018, Drip Kultur Clothing, a subsidiary of Drip Kultur LLC, was born, introducing to the market a clothing line made of delicate, hand-chosen fabrics that makes it possible for people who can’t afford high-end designer brands to look like they can. Ranging from bomber jackets to party dresses, Drip Kultur Clothing offers must-wear pieces and accessories that are created to make anyone feel like an urban superstar. The line includes clothes for children, women, and men, as well as accessories such as backpacks, hats, and even iPhone cases. Ranging in price points, there is something for every type of personality available in the line.
Where it All Began
Founder and CEO Joshua “Drip Kultur” Moore began his career as an American hip-hop artist, but he knew he wanted to move into the fashion realm, as well. Although it is a tough market to make a name for yourself, Drip never doubted his talent and passion. “All you need is ambition and not to be afraid to start a business and to be dedicated to what you love creating,” says Drip. “The sky’s the limit when using your imagination to bring your ideas to life. No one can stop you but you.”
While Drip’s clothing line is gaining popularity through social media, Google, and word-of-mouth, he is not anywhere close to being done rounding out Drip Kultur LLC. His future plans include becoming a household name internationally. “I want to be remembered as having one of the best businesses of all time,” says Drip, who explains how he learned how to make Drip Kultur Clothing successful despite setbacks along the way. “I went through a period of time when my sales were below average, so I decided to recreate certain products that were in connection with today’s trends, and it helped my sales tremendously.”
Looking Forward to the Future
In addition to gaining a larger following for his clothing and accessories lines, Drip is focusing on the future. His focus right now is bringing his unique sense of urban style to the public at an affordable price. But, like a true entrepreneur, his mind is always focused on the future. Next up? Drip Kultur & Co., a jewelry line set to launch in February 2023. ”I am starting my jewelry line because I always had a passion for jewelry since I was a kid,” says Drip. “Making custom one-of-a-kind pieces gives me a ‘I can do anything’ mindset whether the job is small or overwhelming. I love a challenge.” If the past is any indication of the future, the jewelry line is sure to gain a cult following. Then Drip will most likely move onto his next project, making sure he keeps in mind his original plan to “take the game by storm.”
