Promising Singer-Songwriter Tex Moonlight Joins Forces with Grammy-Nominated Stonebridge and Lil’ Joey for a House Revival of “God Knows I Love It”

The saturation of the current music scene has barred countless aspirants from making their mark in the industry. Numerous have attempted to secure a coveted place in the limelight, only to fall short and step back. Given the high level of competition, it makes it all the more impressive that singer-songwriter Tex Moonlight did not only manage to stay afloat amid a sea of talented musicians but also rise through the ranks. On his way closer to the top, the LA-based go-getter proved his potential with the recent release of the vibrant House revival of “God Knows I Love It.”

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Tex Moonlight has had an affinity for beats and rhythms since he was young, so it did not surprise anyone when he chose to follow a musician’s path. His sophisticated taste and in-depth knowledge of the craft can be credited to years of being exposed to a variety of sounds from the 60s and 70s courtesy of his parents, while his appreciation for a diverse range of genres is thanks to the community where he lived, which saw the blue-collared population mixed with underground hip-hop heads and punk-hardcore enthusiasts.

Tex Moonlight is a relatively new name in the game, but he is already acing it. Widely considered one of today’s most promising talents, his discography is a clear demonstration of his skills and a showcase of his potential to evolve into a globally beloved artist in the near future.

While all of his releases so far have succeeded in introducing the brand of artistry that Tex Moonlight possesses, it was “God Knows I Love It” that allowed him to hit the radar of countless listeners. A bare-bones hymn to a love affair in bloom, the original track was a slow-paced masterpiece with minimal instrumentation.

Far from the heavenly indie-folk vibes that the original version offered, the revival of “God Knows I Love It,” which was released on all major streaming platforms on November 10, delivers a vibrant disco sound. This remix came to life after Tex Moonlight teamed up with Grammy-nominated artist, producer, and DJ Stonebridge and joined forces with Lil’ Joey.

Tex Moonlight’s new track is a stellar addition to a series of single releases this year that have earned the singer-songwriter support from several music platforms and publications.
