Jose Morales Finds Passion in Changing Lives Through Boxing

Jose Morales knows firsthand the struggles of growing up undocumented and in poverty, but he refused to let those challenges define him. Instead, he found his passion in boxing and dedicated his time to making a better life for himself and those around him.

Jose Morales is a Mexican-American immigrant who has overcome numerous challenges to achieve his dreams. Born in Mexico, Jose was brought to the United States as an infant and raised by a single mother in poverty. As a teenager, he realized that he was not a U.S. citizen and faced numerous challenges as an undocumented immigrant. Despite these setbacks, Jose refused to give up on his goals and worked hard to make a positive impact in his community.

At just 25 years old, Jose purchased a failing boxing gym in the suburbs, where such businesses often struggle to succeed. But over the past six years, he has grown the gym exponentially, earning hundreds of five-star reviews and establishing a welcoming, inclusive environment for a diverse crowd. In addition, he has created lucrative career opportunities for others who share his passion for boxing.

Despite dropping out of high school, Jose refused to let a lack of formal education hold him back. Instead, he worked hard and pursued his dreams, determined to be the first undocumented person to reach success and to inspire others to do the same. Today, Jose is known not only for his success in the boxing world but also for his story of struggle and determination. He shares his story on stage and through his podcast, inspiring others to pursue their dreams no matter what challenges they may face.

“I wanted to be the first undocumented person to reach success,” says Jose. “You never hear of an undocumented immigrant making a huge impact in the community and in a country that doesn’t even claim them. I wanted to change the trajectory of my life and give people faith that they can come here and change their lives and better this country at the same time.”

With the success he has garnered while making his own mark in the world, Jose Morales is a living testament to the power of hard work and determination, encouraging others to follow their dreams and make a positive impact on their communities. “I want people to know that it doesn’t matter what you are dealing with or where you are,” he says. “What matters is what’s in your head and what actions you do to back up what’s in your head.”

Meet Canadian Filmmaker and All-around Creative Rosanna Peng, Exploring Cultural Identity through Art

Rosanna Peng is a Videographer and Creative Director based in Los Angeles, California. A visionary creative sharing stories of marginalized communities through the visual medium, her work encourages empathy and encourages viewers to see the beauty in mundane, everyday situations. Born in Vancouver, Canada, Rosanna is the daughter of Chinese immigrants and grew up in her parents’ grocery store. She uses her directorial and visual work as a vehicle for self-discovery, exploring the complex stories of her own cultural identity. As a woman in a male-dominated field, Rosanna has found that by stepping into the role of director, she can grab her fears by the collar and shake things up.

Her childhood, of growing up as a second-generation immigrant, experiencing her identity crisis between two cultures, is one that more and more adolescents are going through. Thanks in part to a growing digital age where self-expression is celebrated and appreciated, Rosanna Peng’s colorful, autobiographically-influenced filmography brings to light these hushed stories of estranged childhoods.

Originally from Vancouver and Toronto, Canada, Rosanna has been working in the film industry for nearly a decade, creating beauty, lifestyle, and fashion films. Despite starting out as a self-taught filmmaker, she has gone on to work with global brands such as Nike, Canon, Urban Decay, Hypebeast, and Google. Her work has garnered millions of views and has been displayed on digital billboards across the US. She has also worked with beauty and skincare brands, serving as the lead videographer for some of Urban Decay’s product line video advertisements. Her visuals are poppy, eye-catchingly bright and playful in their hues, emphasizing smooth lines and contours that bring out the aesthetic beauty of each shot, each angle.

These successes did not come without their own challenges, however. “I made so many mistakes that I’m shocked people still wanted to work with me,” she explains. The hurdles that came with being a self-taught videographer left Rosanna learning through her own experimentations. “I had to overcome my own self-doubt and insecurities.” In the face of all the challenges she’s been through, moving cities and managing a busy lifestyle, Rosanna has high hopes for what the future brings. “I can only learn from my failures and keep moving on from them,” says Rosanna.

When it comes to her inspirations, Rosanna points to the creative scenes of her homes, Toronto and LA. Having experienced first-hand working with the creative drives of these two locales, Rosanna Peng has had the opportunity to compare the art scenes in both Toronto and LA. According to Rosanna, the art community in Toronto is highly competitive, with everyone feeling the pressure to stand out creatively. This intense environment has forced Rosanna to develop a range of skills beyond just shooting and editing.

On the other hand, Rosanna perceives the art community in LA to be “much more relaxed”. She attributes this laid-back atmosphere to the city’s ideal weather and abundance of outdoor adventures. Despite the difference in atmosphere, both cities have their own unique challenges. For those looking to make a move to a new city, Rosanna advises finding a balance between hustling and networking. Overdoing either one can lead to burnout and the loss of support from close friends. It’s important to stay balanced and take care of oneself in order to achieve success in any new environment.

In addition to her work in film, Rosanna is also an avid runner and enjoys listening to podcasts in her free time. Throughout her long career as a creative, Rosanna has persevered and learned from her past experiences, “I think it’s important to acknowledge that I’m still in my journey,” Rosanna says. Ever-evolving, the creative is always shifting towards new ideas, submerging old thoughts with new resolutions in the pursuit of art.

One of Rosanna’s current aspirations is to bring a short film about the dual identities of a second-generation immigrant to fruition. She hopes that through her work, she can shed light on the stories of other immigrants and encourage empathy and understanding among viewers.

Big Money Talk with The Money Man, Income Cam

When it comes to big money talk, Income Cam has grown to become one of the most relevant speakers on the topic over the past few months. But there is more to the cash-talking entrepreneur.

We recently caught up to Mr. Income Cam at Dior Cafe inside of Miami’s Design District, a swanky outdoor high-fashion mall known for its sleek modern architecture, upscale designer stores and art galleries located in Miami, Florida, and we were able to get an exclusive with the man himself.

Cam explains how you dress can determine your success. “You should dress to match the lifestyle you’re looking to live. It’s mostly a mindset thing. People complain about the price of clothes, but it should be taken into account… If you’re talking and dressing like a millionaire, it increases your confidence level, and ultimately it takes over your mindset, and you hustle harder to reach your monetary goals. It’s just manifestation.”

Income Cam’s interest in fashion is worth noting. As a high-level entrepreneur and fashion lover, he’s got the perfect understanding of the topic and delivers riveting speeches with style. His philosophy of success is quite powerful.

“Success is just a style away. Everything we wear affects how we feel about ourselves.”

Income Cam knows this, so not only does he give you the best fashion tips, but he also provides the necessary business tips to get you where you want to be. He is committed to helping people find a balance between what’s fashionable and what’s appropriate for your career by providing tips on different types of styles that are appropriate depending on your occupation.

Income Cam suggests that not only do people take you more seriously when you look the part, but you tend to take yourself more seriously as well.

“Here is an example,” Cam explains, “When I was 21, I used to spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars to stay in luxury and five-star hotels… because it motivated me to want it more… I became accustomed to living a certain way, and it made me not settle for less. So I knew I had to get up and hustle hard everyday to maintain that lavish lifestyle I desired. The same with fashion… once you wear a few nice outfits, you get complimented on them, and now you don’t want to go back to wearing cheaper threads because you notice a different attention from people when you’re in the nice things. People want to know what you do for a living… it starts a conversation… it pushes your confidence.”

But don’t get it confused with the “Fake it til you make it” mindset.

But if you think you are all caught up on everything there is to know about this rising global influencer, let us not forget to mention that, as his name suggests… he spares absolutely no expense when it comes to his very own lifestyle. A typical day for Income Cam starts around 6:00 am, where he likes to do morning drives and drink coffee in his now home of Miami. Flaunting is expected from the money man, and he is known to showcase a rather expensive lifestyle.

It’s now 7 pm EST in Miami, Florida, and we’re 49 floors up in the sky, inside of Income Cam’s penthouse, sitting on a 360 wrap-around balcony, and we’re looking down at the Brickell-Miami afternoon traffic. The sun is halfway below the horizon line of the Atlantic Ocean, which the view is breathtaking.

“Look like money and you will attract money,” Cam continues… “and when you shift your mindset and stop listening to people that tell you that certain things don’t matter, ‘like clothes’ you’ll learn to become more happy with doing the things you love, and for a lot of people… they like to dress nicely and wear expensive items.. it elevates their ambition. They just want more of it… and that takes more money.” Cam also says that it’s very easy to make money when you feel good. When you look good, you feel good.

He suggests not to spend to impress others. Rather spend to motivate yourself. Spend to show yourself that you can do it, touch it, obtain it.

His “Money will come” philosophy:

Income Cam highlights that his high-level training, UpYourIncome, is more than just a fancy website about financial literacy and mentoring — it’s a lifestyle. Cam’s goal is to help people live their fullest lives without worrying about money. This training is about you not just surviving but thriving – understanding how money works for you so you can live life on your own terms.

The ultimate goal is to create a legacy of generational wealth for your family. That is far more important than just randomly buying things that you don’t really need. Look at your appearance as investing into yourself.

Income Cam is an upcoming entrepreneur to look out for. He is already getting recognized for being a significant role model and leader online & people are tremendously making it known that they are profoundly grateful for his presence.

“Manners Matter 2” Bringing Etiquette Into 2023

What do you think of when you hear the word “etiquette?”

If you think it’s a word that belongs to yesterday, to a more “prim and proper” time gone by, perhaps at best relating it to the days of Emily Post (the American socialite who died in 1960, having built her name as an etiquette advice columnist), read on.

The first known use of the word was far before the Post era. The word was actually first used in France in 1737, according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary. In its initial usage, the word actually referred to a “ticket.” Interestingly, nearly 300 years later, etiquette is still the ticket to success.

“The power of good etiquette can set a person apart from the rest of the crowd,” says Rachana Adyanthaya, one-half of the hosting team of the popular Manners Matter 2 podcast. “It can have a profound impact on first impressions and ability to instill trust, confidence, and rapport. These are essential skills that can carry one through life and set one up for success.”

“It is the finishing touch,” agrees Esteve Boyd, who hosts the popular show along with Rachana. “It’s the added polish and refinement that plays such an important role in people’s impressions. It can make all the difference.”

Manners Matter 2 is “a no-nonsense, light-hearted etiquette podcast focusing on modern day dilemmas. Hosted by etiquette and coaching consultants; Rachana Adyanthaya and Julia Esteve Boyd. They explore day-to-day experiences, challenges and how they tackle tricky situations and challenges with grace…most of the time!”

Rachana Adyanthaya and Julia Esteve Boyd say they share an important mission – the two are aligned “to make the world of etiquette accessible to all” and to “do away with the stuffy connotations” that are often linked to it.

In a fun and entertaining way, the show covers a broad range of issues, from everyday conundrums to current events and business matters and how etiquette makes a difference, and how it can be applied in all situations.

They give this striking example. “With the pandemic, there has been a shift in how and where people work. With many graduates and young people entering the market; they may never have had the experience of working ‘in the office”. This can have an impact on how businesses perform and move forward. More businesses are investing in their etiquette to train their employees in essential skills such as networking, email protocol etc. On the show, we explore many everyday etiquette conundrums, such as dealing with difficult people, simple courtesy, and the effect it has on others and current events.”

Whilst most etiquette consultants are focusing on dos and don’ts, Manners Matter 2 takes a more discussive approach.

“We explore why things are done and how they could have done better, using different perspectives. We combine aspects of development coaching and the rules of etiquette.”

Rachana & Julia say it’s necessary to understand the importance of knowing the rules but also to understand that life happens.

“It’s knowing when to apply the rules that we think gives value,” they say.

Beyond the Manners Matter 2 Podcast, both Rachana and Julia are available to create bespoke coaching sessions designed around the specific needs of their client – everything from dining etiquette to the art of networking and other social graces.

Rachana Adyanthaya is the Founder of Cr8mychange and uses her experience in the field of finance and law to focus on all aspects of women’s personal development, from tailored private coaching to courses such as Business Etiquette, Networking, Tech Etiquette, Communication and Personal Branding & Image. The result? A polished, confident individual whose authenticity instills trust in others.

Julia Esteve Boyd is The Etiquette Consultant – she offers Etiquette & Protocol coaching for navigating a variety of lifestyle situations — from entertaining business clients, visiting foreign countries, attending an interview or upscale dinner and hosting VIP events at home. The ultimate goal is to confidently present oneself and one’s business in the best possible way.

The Manners Matter 2 podcast can be accessed via Spotify, Apple and Amazon or at mannersmatter2.com

Jetall Capital’s Ali Choudhri announces impressive conversion of Galleria area commercial properties to luxury residential

Conversion of office space to residential is gaining steam – lead by Jetall Capital’s Ali Choudhri, at several of his Galleria area properties.

November 4, 2022 (HOUSTON, TX) – Houston-based real estate company Jetall Capital has announced plans to convert multiple floors of Class A properties in the Galleria area of Houston into residential living spaces. This process, known as adaptive reuse, involves repurposing existing buildings for a new project, and can often be more cost-effective and eco-friendly than starting from scratch or tearing down and rebuilding.

Jetall is currently adapting several floors at premier properties in walking distance from the Galleria, such as 2425 West Loop South and 1001 West Loop South. These properties will offer a range of luxurious amenities, including gyms, delis, wellness and meditation spas, acupuncture, and more. Some of these spaces will be available for short-term rentals through platforms like Airbnb, while others will be available for longer term commitments.

According to Jetall CEO Ali Choudhri, “Companies are becoming accustomed to managing office staffs who are increasingly demanding more flexible work environments. Turning old office buildings into apartments or condos is nothing new, but doing it to Class A property within walking distance of Galleria, River Oaks, and Uptown Park is highly unique and has never been done before in Houston.”

The demand for housing in Houston is on the rise, and Jetall is well-positioned to provide some much-needed relief with its luxurious living spaces. As Choudhri pointed out, “While the world population grows, we increasingly see people committing to ‘Live, Work & Play’ from a single location. Less driving time and more time with friends and loved ones. Whether it is commercial building renovation or developing unique specialized projects, Jetall Capital will continue to be the thought and action leader in the symbiotic relationship between home and office. We love Houston and finding new ways to make this wonderful city truly a HOME for all our businesses and families.”

The decision to adapt these Class A properties for residential use is in line with the growing trend of flexible work environments, as more and more companies are accommodating employees who are seeking a better work-life balance. By offering living spaces within walking distance of the Galleria, River Oaks, and Uptown Park, Jetall is catering to this trend and providing a convenient and comfortable place for people to live, work, and play all in one location.

Overall, Jetall Capital is committed to finding innovative ways to improve the quality of life in Houston and make it a true home for businesses and families. With its portfolio of prime locations and a wide range of development and investment expertise, Jetall is poised to continue leading the way in the synergies between home and office.

Adaptive reuse projects like those being undertaken by Jetall Capital can provide several benefits to both developers and the local community. In addition to being a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to new construction, adaptive reuse can also help to preserve and revitalize historical buildings, adding character and depth to an area. By creating modern living spaces within walking distance of popular areas like the Galleria, River Oaks, and Uptown Park, Jetall can cater to the growing trend of flexible work environments and provide a convenient and comfortable place for people to live, work, and play.

In addition to its adaptive reuse projects, Jetall Capital is also actively involved in private equity and angel investments, as well as restructuring and buying out debt and distressed real estate. This diversity of expertise allows the company to continue growing and adapting to the needs of the market.

Remote Sales That Scale: How Cole Gordon and Closers.io are Leading the Industry in Building Professional, Successful, and Profitable Sales Teams for Clients

Building a committed, trustworthy, and productive sales team is one of the most difficult aspects of scaling a business. To assist companies in creating and scaling high-performing sales teams, Cole Gordon founded Closers.io. “We help clients build a remote sales team that basically runs on autopilot,” said Gordon.

Top-tier sales professionals are vetted, hired, and trained by Closers.io to excel in their roles. Closers.io has a pipeline of more than 13,000 experienced sales professionals that they place inside their clients’ sales teams.

Closers.io helps sales representatives perform better, eliminate inconsistency, and close more deals (leading to more profit for their clients).

Gordon, who has made as much as $400K a month in his own sales career, excels at the process of training sales reps and placing them with sales teams looking to employ. He now shows customers and salespeople how to do the same.

Who is Cole Gordon

When it comes to successfully developing, constructing, and scaling top-tier sales teams and reps, Gordon is the industry thought leader to follow. Gordon has a large social media following of over 600,000 people, including 500K on Instagram and 12K on YouTube. He started Closers.io because he was confident he could teach other salespeople to perform at a higher level, close more deals, and create a positive impact.

“The easiest way to encapsulate why we started the company is because, as a high-performing sales rep myself, I was always asked where companies can find good sales reps,” Gordon said.

“Good salespeople know other good salespeople. That’s a fact. That is also the key to recruiting good salespeople too. You leverage them, their network and find referrals.”

Closers.io provides its clients with an exclusive accelerator program that helps them to manage a team of high-performing sales reps.

Closers.io Sales Team Accelerator™

Sales Team Accelerator (STA) is a branch of Closers.io that helps coaches, consultants, and agency owners to build and scale their sales team past seven figures. STA teaches clients a proven framework for leveraging remote sales professionals to scale their business.

Sales Team Accelerator is laid on the foundation of four pillars of education:

  1. Assets and Economics
  2. Recruiting and Hiring
  3. Accelerated Training and
  4. Systems and Management

According to Gordon, the majority of organizations make the error of attempting to establish a sales staff without a solid foundation (without this, sales reps will inevitably fail). Assets can include things like a verified offer and a repeatable sales process. Economics refers to a scalable compensation structure (where the sales rep and the company have aligned incentives). Top-tier sales reps are drawn to companies with both of these in place.

Gordon advises hiring from a place of abundance to prevent having a high turnover rate. Because of this, the organization develops sales teams by screening and rating candidates for clients prior to interviews. This technique aids Closers.io in creating a strong candidate pipeline.

The amount of time it takes for a closer to go from zero to meeting key performance indicators (KPI’s) is known as ‘ramp time’. This trial period usually takes 50-100+ calls and costs the business owner thousands of dollars, (without knowing whether the sales rep will ultimately reach the target). By comparison, Closers.io has found they can shorten this ‘ramp up’ process by as much as 50%, simply by implementing Gordon’s methods that led him to $400K per month in sales, and empower the business owner to collect more profit from every new hire.

The last of the four educational pillars that customers receive aids professionals in making data-driven decisions, building a culture that sales representatives want to be a part of, and finally growing their enterprises to a potential 7-8 figure level.

“We do not outsource talent, but rather help companies build internal sales teams that essentially run themselves,” stated Gordon. “Let’s face it, the last thing any entrepreneur wants is for an outsourced sales team to leave the company. That’s why we recruit, hire and train Top 1% sales reps instead.”

Shay LàVu on What Makes LashShayVu Natural Mink Lashes the Perfect Choice

A lot of women want to have powerful and expressive eyes, and natural-looking mink lashes often do the trick. When choosing the right brand that promises high quality and durability, however, there is quite a lot to choose from in the market today. But one name manages to stand out from the rest – LashShayVu.

Business owner Shay LàVu is a hands-on executive who makes sure her clients get only the best products. Standing out in a highly competitive industry is not as easy as most people would think, but Shay has managed to keep LashShayVu at the forefront by offering a wide selection that excites clients. Creating LashShayVu was also a timely response to growing demand. To be able to offer something of quality and reasonably priced at a time when more expensive and unreliable products were emerging left and right brought a great sense of fulfillment to Shay, knowing that her clients are getting what they truly deserve.

“We offer at LashShayVu natural mink lashes, synthetic lashes, and magnetic lashes. Our lashes come in a rainbow of colors. There are various styles for everyday wear, dramatic lengths, glitter and bejeweled lashes. Our lashes can keep up with your many moods and the various events, celebrations and occasions in your life,” shared Shay.

Clients can choose between the Classic and Hybrid Lashes (15-18 mm), and the Volume lashes Faux Mink (25 mm). Apart from the mink lashes, they can also try the Brown Lashes, Super Natural, Fluffy Mink Lashes, Mink Glitter Lashes, Regular Colored Mink Lashes, and Magnetic Mink Lashes.

What makes a huge difference is that Shay herself is also a consistent and proud user of her natural mink lashes, proof that she, too, believes in their quality and durability. In business, it makes a whole lot of difference when owners proudly wear their own brands. It is not only a strategic marketing style but also very empowering for others to see.

“I truly use my own products on a regular basis. I don’t just put my name on them with my hand out to reap the sale of them. I believe in my products, I endorse them fully, and I am proud of the packaging and purpose provided by these quality eyelashes and accessories,” she revealed.

One of Shay’s biggest motivations for developing LashShayVu came from various makeup artists she has closely worked with over the past years. Through them, she learned different techniques that allowed her to create products she could proudly offer to the public. If there is one thing her friends in the industry imparted to her is how to use quality lashes that will enhance a person’s beauty tremendously.

“Self-worth and self-confidence are huge for each and every person, and I encourage people to take care of their inner and outer beauty,” Shay explained.

Shay LàVu’s success story is one worth sharing so that aspiring entrepreneurs can draw inspiration from her experiences in the business. What is most prominent in how she runs her business is that she genuinely believes in the value and benefits people can get from using her natural mink lashes.
