Woman in Limelight: Emerging Author & Mother of 5 – Denise Cantu.

In every instance, when something agonizing occurs in human lives, they try to foster the tendency to suppress that pain and subscribe to the adage that “time heals all wounds.”

It is always said that time heals all wounds. But does it really? Not at all, The wounds remain and will continue to remain. It is just that the time — or the mind, attempting to safeguard its saneness — conceals those wounds with some scar tissue, diminishing the pain, but it can never be banished.

“Time heals all wounds, is without a doubt, cliché. Similar to various other clichés, it seems to be credible even though it’s intricate. The chaotic reality of those “wounds,” received from traumatic events, grief, and heartbreak, is that they never heal over time. It remains as a part of our memories, for the rest of our life,” said Denise Cantu, author of upcoming book, God With Me. In this narration, Cantu reveals her story as a mourning mother after losing her two kids to an unfortunate accident. It also takes the readers on her journey to founding God’s grace as she battled with the hope of inspiring millions like her.

“It took me a long time and many sleepless nights to decide to share my side of the story to the world—not the twisted version depicted by the media or other sources. I want you to know the truth, the real narration. Today, if I proudly am sharing my story with the world, I owe it to many people, including those I lost, especially them, I feel. They made me realize that death is the end of a person, not the end of their relationships. They will always remain in my heart in the form of purest love and glimmering light.  The day I step inside the gates of heaven, I know they will be waiting to embrace me, and in that eternal moment, I will live my life forever!” she said.

Cantu elucidated that while some wounds are unhealable,  the only way to seek comfort is to turn to God, who is omnipresent to help us, relieving us from grief. Only God can genuinely offer comfort to our scarred hearts.

“I always witness people wondering whether the memories will fade. But, the truth is we will never ever forget those difficult experiences we’ve had in life. Yet, God has an astounding approach in empowering us to cope and move on with life,” said Denise Cantu.

Anyone who has experienced grief, sadness, or loss ever in life comprehends the hard reality that time does not heal all wounds. In fact, those moments send pain, agony, and deep depression down your spine, which you would have never felt before. Time can frequently suppress emotions, but it alone can never heal all wounds.

However, there is hope that keeps us going in this world. Humans can rest in the hope that we are not alone. “I light of my own experience, I found to be the most helpful aspect of tackling with grief was to turn to Lord. Losing loved ones, especially your kids who you bore for 9 months, is a horrible, painful experience to go through; you feel the whole world collapsing in front of you, but there is hope in Lord that He will make reunite with them, in the heaven,” said Cantu.

Cantu explained that we need God all the time, but even more when going through times of grief. After all, God never delights in seeing us experiencing grief. In fact, He never intended to make experience pain, grief, or death. He breathed life into humans, to dwell with Him in the Garden forever; nevertheless, the destiny altered when Adam and Eve fell (Genesis 3:1-24).

The fall of humankind brought death into the world, and pain, grief, and sorrow came along with it. “God has promised us to create a new Heaven and a New Earth after the Millennium where pain, agony, or death will not exist (Revelation 21:4). And I have a hope in Him, he make me reunite with pieces of my heart; my beautiful children; and it is this hope that keeps me going, but the wound prevails,” she said.

Denise Cantu further revealed that it is not the time that has the power to heal, but God. “No matter how grave the pain of our wounds is in our earthly life when we are with Christ, we rest in comfort, that He has got our back. The moment we turn to God and put our faith in Him, we begin to experience faith. Psalm 147:3 says, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. And this verse alone becomes the source of my hope, each day,” she said.

Therefore, whatever you experience in life, no matter how much of the lowest point is it, give it over to God. Seek His help through supplications, and he will help you embrace our wounds.

Cantu believes that the wound we receive in this world prepares us for our future with Christ, where we will experience eternal joy. “Perhaps the agonizing trial you are going through right now is to fulfill your future calling Jesus will provide in your life. If it was not the series of loss of my loved ones, addictions, and struggles, I would not have been able to pen down my experience, narrating my life story for numerous to seek inspiration from,” she said.

“Remember that the comfort of God’s love is strong, firm, and steadfast. Time can help us cope, but it cannot heal us. God promises us that one day we will be with Christ; we will rejoice and reunite with others, spending eternity with the Lord. So whenever you are going through painful situations, difficult seasons in your life, or incurable wounds in your inner beings, just remind yourelf of God’s steadfast love,” concluded Denise Cantu.

While talking about her upcoming book, Denise Cantu explained that she finds the standards set for the heroes too vague; and unrealistic. It is in light of the fact that heroes get hurt; they break down but what makes them heroes is the fact that they never give up.

“We are all heroes believe it or not; we fight our fears each day, even on the days when every muscle in our being feels sore and exhausted. We rise after every defeat and drag ourselves forward. This is heroic. My aim behind writing this book is nothing like portraying myself as a hero, but to remind you all that you are, too. On many points, while reading this book, several of you will see yourself in me, will relate in some way or the other, and this is what I want. To let you know that you are plenty, you are enough, and you have got this,” she said.

This book is truly a must-read for all those suffering from the loss of loved ones or battling addictions! If you are on the verge of giving up on life, then read this amazing narration, and witness God stepping in with all his glory and unmeasurable love.

This book empowers you to pick up the fallen pieces and continue your journey under His protection and endless light, finding your better self.

Entrepreneur and Inventor Elena Kaminskiy Shares How She Brought Her Idea To Market – And How You Can Do The Same

Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Elena and her family moved to the United States when she was 3 years old with little resources, prompting her father to work multiple jobs. Eventually, her father started his own janitorial business and later a coffee shop. Elena worked with him throughout her childhood, learning the importance of hard work. By 18, she would get married and move to San Diego to start her married life. Together with her husband, they started a handyman company that eventually grew to a full service Design and Remodeling Company in San Diego.

Elena Kaminskiy was inspired to create her own product, after struggling to sleep with her favorite creams and moisturizers on, often waking up with vertical sleep wrinkles and her products wiped away by her flat pillow.

She would spend hours researching and purchasing pillows that boasted they were the best anti-wrinkle products in the market. Eventually, she realized that each pillow shared the same design problem. They were all flat with cutouts for the cheek area, however in reality her face never landed in those flat cutouts.

Elena brainstormed ideas and created her own prototypes, purchasing materials and foam from the craft store. It would take 20 prototypes before she finally came up with the product to launch her brand, Flawless Face Pillow.

“I designed this pillow to help me sleep on my back all night, and would also allow me to move to my sides without having my skin come into contact with my flat pillow,” she explained. “The pillow is super soft, comfortable, and comes with a custom satin pillow cover. We also design and manufacture our pillows in the USA.”

Since she launched, the Flawless Face Pillow quickly grew and has amassed a loyal customer base of dermatologists who recommend the pillow to their patients, celebrities and everyday women from around the world.

“I want women to be able to go to sleep, and predictably wake up with great skin in the morning. I want them to get actual Beauty Sleep,” Elena says.

Asked how others can follow their dreams and start their own company / product, Elena had this to say.

“When I wanted to start the Flawless Face Pillow, I didn’t even have a name figured out yet. I had an idea, and a genuine desire to see this product out in the market helping other women like it helped me.

I had zero experience bringing a product to market. But what I did have was a determination to make it happen, no matter what. I made a promise to myself that I was going to do whatever it took.

I documented my journey along the way, and learned to really enjoy the journey. There are so many things you will learn along the way, and you will grow so much as an individual.

You will also gain a new level of self respect for yourself, knowing that even when things get tough (and they will) that you keep pressing forward. My motto is, “No one ever said going after your dreams was easy, but know this—it’s possible.”

I love inspiring others to go after their dreams and share daily content on my Instagram.

Elena is also a wife, mother to 3 kids (2 teens and a new baby they welcomed in 2021) and owner of other businesses that she co owns with her husband. They also invest in Real Estate and other projects.

“Behind Every Great Breakthrough Is a Story that Left No Choice” – An Inside Look at the Extraordinary Life of Marvin Peake

Many have heard the maxim, “challenge is inevitable, but suffering is a choice.” How one interrupts life’s ups and downs and navigates through its experiences determines the former or the latter. Giants the likes of Chris Gardner – “The Pursuit of Happyness,” Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, J.K. Rowling, Leonardo DiCaprio, even Walt Disney to name a few, all have made their way from tragedy to triumph. Marvin Peake is no exception…. Rising from the depths of childhood homelessness and extreme poverty to the heights of financial freedom and triumphant success, Marvin beat the odds to become a highly sought-after life strategist, business and personal development advisor, and motivational speaker.

Mark Twain once said, “poverty is no disgrace but it’s a damnable inconvenience.” Marvin somehow turned a disgraceful inconvenience, which for many is a wounding, and turned it into a preparation. By his creed of eliminating all excuses, he went from homelessness to the FBI, to an International Ambassador of Peace and community development mogul.

Along the way, Marvin developed a passion for the awakening of humanity to a oneness consciousness. He surmises that though we each have our own individual life curriculum and cosmic calling, we are still inextricably connected. He passionately states that, “we are not only a reflection of each other but rather extensions of each other. What I want for me, I want for you. For you are me, and I am you. We are one. And without you, I don’t exist. Without me, you don’t exist.”

Today, his mission is found in promoting unity, unconditional love, and ending world poverty. In his upcoming book, “Out Of The Tunnel,” Marvin chronicles his own life story, offering readers an opportunity to see themselves in all of their own struggles, and providing the solutions to get to the other side. It is a book filled with distilled wisdom that highlights Marvin’s direct encounters with some of the wealthiest, most famous, influential, and spiritually aware people in past and modern history.

Through this breathtaking journey, Tunnel offers the reader an important “Ki” (breakthrough— insight—takeaway) at the end of each chapter that provides an awakening to life’s inevitable challenges and a deeper understanding that life doesn’t happen to us, but for us.

Ki is an Eastern term for universal energy. A force that penetrates everywhere, uniting all the manifestations of the Universe, visible and invisible. Each Ki in Out of the Tunnel invites the reader to more than just a “how-to” guide. They allow the energy to flow through the story and into the personalized experience of the reader, giving a clearer understanding that when we don’t sufficiently succeed at positively meeting our needs, it negatively impacts our overall sense of well-being.

It’s a gripping saga of one man’s quest to overcome abandonment, heartache, despair, betrayal, and continuous setbacks to attack suffering at its roots and revolutionize the meaning of self-worth, relationships, and wealth. Offering a new look at the Law of Attraction, he guides the reader to the awareness of ancient subconscious programs, cultural conditioning, and limiting beliefs. In this riveting literary read, Peake discovers the answers to Mastering the Science of Success and Living the Art of Fulfillment, and is sharing it with the world.

Why you should strive for a healthy work-life balance in 2022

The battle for a healthy work-life balance is a perpetual struggle for the modern American workforce. Even with many companies implementing flexible hours and working from home options, this doesn’t automatically correlate to a better work-life balance. While working from home during the pandemic was proven to boost productivity and employee happiness in many cases, there was also the hidden cost of many employees actually working more hours than usual, including evenings and weekends. There was also the assumption that employees would be available over email and text even outside of working hours. This became so pervasive that Portugal recently banned bosses from contacting staff outside of working hours, in a “right to rest” law.

It remains a fact that even with the means to create a healthier work-life balance, the onus is on employers to make sure they are facilitating meaningful change and not just implementing surface level gestures. “Don’t default to pre-pandemic policies, and forget prior conceptions of ‘coming back to the office,’” lead associate of Organizational Performance Group Leah Hancock says. With a mission to help people work better together, she insists that the feedback has to come straight from employees. “Consider questions such as: What level of in-person interaction is required to foster connection, collaboration, and communication? What aspects of our work can be conducted as well or better remotely? What aspects of our work strongly benefit from being in person?”

Hancock insists that employers should use information that has come directly from their teams to “design your new reality” based on insights from the people who matter most. The four-day work week is one pro work-life strategy that seems to be edging towards an inevitably at this point. Numerous pilot schemes have been launched around the world (including one currently in the UK), and have proven that a four day (32 hour) work week is good for both businesses and employees. Productivity is higher, expenses are lower, recruitment and retention boom, and crucially, burnout is reduced.

But there are also independent steps employees can take to ensure they are giving themselves an adequate work-play balance. “Plan your leisure time,” Hancock says. “Looking ahead and pre-scheduling time off throughout the year means that you and your colleagues will have more time to prepare ahead of your time off, and you will have this time to look forward to.” She also suggests colleagues invest in “cross-training” so that when someone takes time off, they can “truly disconnect” because another team member can temporarily support their role. “Support one another in turning on the out of office message and engaging in deep rest,” she adds. Employees should also be proactive in “managing up”, meaning they talk with supervisors about creating a realistic schedule that will allow them to set and meet realistic targets. “Pay attention to how your time gets used, and notice what activities, anticipated or unanticipated, end up using your time and make changes based on this data.”

Crucially, Hancock insists that any new significant changes are part of a process that will need to be reviewed and adapted as appropriate. But the future is hopeful. “There are significant paradigm shifts happening throughout our world, including within the workforce,” she says. “These shifts involve everything from a reassessment of the pace of life, what is valued, who holds power and how they use it, how we advance equity, environmental conservation practices, and more.” While the process of building a more flexible, pro work-life balance workplace should come from a place of partnership, Hancock emphasizes that employees are increasingly looking to their employers to recognize that the status quo is changing. “This means that to be competitive, companies will need to proactively attend to issues such as purpose and mission; values in practice; diversity, equity, and inclusion; environmental impacts; fair pay; workplace flexibility; and the application of hierarchy and power.”

But the question remains, is this a result of the perfect storm of burnout, the Great Resignation, and Covid-19, or simply the need for an inevitable overhaul of the damaging work culture that we have normalized? “Covid is one significant factor. It unsettled the norms and demanded that we go about our lives in new and different ways,” Hancock says. “But many of these changes were brewing prior to Covid and have been amplified or pushed to the forefront as a result of the pandemic.” In other words, meaningful change is long overdue.

Significant Life Experiences and a Determined Mindset Encourage P to Pursue Professional Wrestling and Acting

Pavel Kozlov is better known as Victor Romanoff, the Siberian Fighting Spirit, to those familiar with American pro wrestling. His stage name is a perfect fit for the character he constructed. Kozlov is a wrestling sensation with a genuine Russian accent and an authentic Russian persona. Furthermore, his tenacity has propelled his career as a wrestler and actor. His capacity to learn from critical events and experiences to turn his life around and realize his ambitions is also noteworthy.’

Kozlov was born and reared in Moscow as an only child in a family of math academics. Growing up in such an atmosphere, it was natural to emulate his parents’ intellectual and creative ambitions. Despite taking a different road than his academic parents, Kozlov carried creativity and a passion for formal education.

At the age of 13, he witnessed two life occurrences that profoundly influenced his life. First, he had to deal with the loss of his father, which impacted him. During his period, he was also introduced to professional wrestling. When he saw American wrestling on TV, he got eager to alter himself physically. Later on, he obtained kickboxing instruction and participated in it.

Kozlov went to university after high school and specialized in journalism. This phase in his life saw significant growth and the manifestation of his creativity. He penned poems, ran a creative website, and got a job as a journalist.

Even after all those years, Kozlov still felt compelled to pursue a career as a professional wrestler. So he set off for America, armed with all life had taught him thus far and the firm will characteristic of him. Even though he had no connections or relatives in the United States, very little money, and even fewer English language abilities, Kozlov ventured into the unknown.

Kozlov looked to schools and training institutes to help him enhance his wrestling skills. In America, he began his pro wrestling training at the World Wrestling Alliance 4 (WWA4) academy in Atlanta, Georgia. Then, he relocated to Orlando, Florida, after a year and a half to attend the elite Team 3D Academy of Professional Wrestling. This is where he developed the Victor Romanoff character. Not long after that, Kozlov found his way into American Professional Wrestling.

The professional wrestler continues to push himself and seek new experiences. His passion for inventing and portraying characters, telling tales, and being creative leads him to want to try his hand at acting. This man has appeared in several short films and television series. He participated in the Meisner Master Acting program to better himself and has now graduated.

It’s no wonder that Kozlov discovered his destiny in professional wrestling and acting, given his enthusiasm for creation, change, and training. He acknowledges that he never had a backup plan. Success was the only choice for him. He admits that putting himself in a situation where he can’t back out is a big part of his success. This frame of mind enabled him to never give up on his path.

Acting

Pavel Kozlov is an American actor of Russian heritage known for his passionate depictions of villainous characters. His solid on-screen presence and charismatic personality have landed him jobs in several short films, TV episodes, and independent movies. He is also well-known as the genuine Russian professional wrestler on the American wrestling circuit, whose intimidating character as Victor Romanoff, “Siberian Fighting Spirit,” has wowed wrestling fans worldwide.

In truth, Pavel has been converting himself into diabolical, larger-than-life personas since he was a young adolescent and first saw a professional American wrestling program in Moscow. While he enjoyed the combat, the wrestlers’ flashy entrances, enormous personas, and stories captivated him. His obsession with character development and narrative drives every part he plays, and whether he is in front of the camera or the ring, as an actor or as an athlete, it is that battling spirit that drives his success.

Pro Wrestling

Pavel Kozlov began converting himself into America’s professional wrestling superstar known across the globe as Victor Romanoff, the Siberian Fighting Spirit, the day he first witnessed an American professional wrestling bout on TV in his home Russia.

Pavel is professional wrestling’s famous, totally true Russian persona, with a natural Russian accent and a distinctive hammer and sickle symbol haircut on the side of his head. Pavel has a life-long, tenacious battling spirit that has carried him – against all odds – from obscurity in Russia to the world of sports and entertainment in America. Pavel is talented and charming, trained in fighting and martial arts, and committed to his sport and fans.

Brandon Lawless Inspires Modern-Day Photography

Photography is without any doubt artistic, and only the skilled and talented continue to serve in this age-long endeavor that has evolved into many things over time. Photography at its core performs several functions—it can tell a story, capture moments in time, relive memories, or serve as a piece of art. The creativity and attention required of photographers make photography a top-tier artistic endeavor that only a few have excelled in.

Irrespective of what photography represents, Los Angeles-based photographer and videographer Brandon Lawless, founder and CEO of Lawless Media, believes taking photographs has been his calling right from the first time he encountered a camera, at the age of 13. Recalling his obsession, the now-established photographer realized early on the immensities attached to him holding a camera, the meaning he could give to things, the life he could restore or bring to objects through his use of a camera. Moreover, he was convinced without any doubt that being behind the camera gives him more power than being in front of it.

Brandon thus decided to pursue photography full-time as a self-taught photographer before enrolling in a film school to hone his photography skills further. There, he was able to take his knowledge and skills to the next level, especially in photography and graphic design.

“During my time at film school, I got into marketing and advertising to help me elevate my skills and support my ability to bring content that will advance my brand and business,” Brandon recalls. “By doing all that, I was able to run a social media account for a Division One football team, work with well-known producers, music artists, music labels, and more.”

While Brandon admits that success has been his major drive, he wasn’t always successful in his journey as an entrepreneur. He recalled his post-college years where he found himself in the pool of stagnation, with no idea how best to proceed, move forward, or operate. Until he met a friend, Dev, who worked at Atlantic Records as a mixer. According to Brandon, Dev’s invitation to Brandon to visit the studio changed his life forever because, after the visit, he simply became unstoppable.

Since he visited Atlantic Records, the Los Angeles native has worked with influential celebrities such as Big Sean, Dom Kennedy, Bino Rideaux, and more. In addition, he has also taken photos of the likes of Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Migos, Cardi B, Lil Uzi, and many more celebrated people.

But the Los Angeles-based freelancer isn’t just about photographing people from the music industry; he also had the privilege of working with people from the sports industry, personal trainers, influential brands, colossal music festivals and concerts, famous make-up artists, apparel brands, and more. As a result, his work has been featured on numerous platforms such as Apple Music, Complex & Complex Sports, FADER, Lyrical Lemonade, YSL (MUSIC), and Virgil Abloh, to name a few.

Although he is a freelance photographer, being in the right place at the right time in the right company is an essential ingredient for every magical photograph he has created.

“I love sharing my art with people, especially knowing that a lot of individuals love these certain artists and listen to them daily. Also, having the ability to take photos of celebrated figures and share them with the world is a great feeling,” Brandon shared.

I want to change that with my books by providing them with perspective and kindness,” he said.

His next book is in the works, and he hopes to take writing full time to spread his message of kindness to the world.

Boogiefrmda8 Is Taking Over the Hip-Hop Scene With His Authentic Raps

Over the years, hip-hop artists have stayed true to the genre’s cardinal rule of staying authentic, and Boogiefrmda8 is no different. Rapper Boogiefrmda8 is all about authenticity and being genuine to oneself, and he is taking over the music world with his unapologetic sound and blunt persona.

Boogie grew up in a rough neighborhood in Compton, California, and started rapping at the age of eight, having fun freestyling with his cousin. By the time he was in high school, it had developed into a passion, and he gained the attention of many by rapping over other artists’ beats. Fueled by the hype he got, Boogie decided to advance on his rap career and write his own tracks.

“I grew up in Bompton on 148TH AND LONESS. Young Boogie was around five when my dad used to have me on the block with him. At one point, I was the lookout. It’s crazy because he didn’t tell me to lookout, I did that shit on my own. I was paying attention to my dad and the OG homies lifestyle. Off back I learned who were the OPPS and that include the police. I rap about what I seen and what I been through,” the rapper shared on how his upbringing influenced his sound.

Using his experiences as fuel for his raps, Boogie has harnessed a firm conviction in his music that screams certainty, individuality, and confidence in what he is doing as an artist, quickly imposing a belief that he has a one-of-a-kind persona as a rapper among the other artists in today’s concentrated music industry.

When asked what inspired him to dedicate himself to a music career, Boogiefrmda8 insightfully replied, “I wasn’t inspired by anyone. I knew my calling; I visualized my ending, and my end result is what keeps me motivated. If that makes sense?”

Boogie’s intrigue in expressing his emotions through words fuels his passion for making music, as well as the goals he wishes to achieve along with the progression of his music career. At the core of his motivation to make music is the need to strive hard in order to reach the ending he visualizes.

“Get money, follow your dreams. It’s perfectly OK to be the underdog. You ain’t gotta have a bunch of cheerleaders following you around. As long as you stay true to yourself, your craft, and stay grinding everything else will line up as it is supposed to be. Be your own man and if a nigga can’t accept that you don’t wanna be around their fake ass no way,” Boogie urges his fans.

The rapper is currently promoting his recent single “Not Him,” which is now available on different music streaming platforms like Soundcloud, Apple Music, and Spotify.

With his continuous rise in the hip-hop scene, Boogiefrmda8 has proven to be more than just a baritone voice layered over rhythmic beats. He has built a sizable fanbase for himself among the underground scene, and his audiences will surely get the time of their lives listening to his self-titled mixtape Boogiefrmda8 set for release in the next few months.

Boogiefrmda8’s career is just starting to take off, and he has many plans for the future, including headlining his own sold-out show in a few states and across countries. He also wants to do more for the community, especially for the kids and the elderly.
