The company’s initial product was a simple crystal-clear TPU case branded as “The Q Line,” which emphasized quality but did not include the stand functionality that would later become a signature feature. For four years, CASEKOO’s team focused on refining what started as a napkin sketch.
In 2021, CASEKOO introduced a phone case featuring an integrated ring stand. This product, called “The E Line,” combines functionality with design aesthetics and has received recognition such as the IF Design Award.
Attention to Detail
The Magic Stand technology is central to CASEKOO’s design philosophy: addressing everyday challenges through an integrated kickstand, finger ring holder for a secure grip, and a magnetic circle compatible with MagSafe accessories. The stand is built into the phone case’s back panel, maintaining compatibility with magnetic charging systems. The latest pro version offers full 360° rotation.
Beyond the stand, CASEKOO has developed proprietary material technology that addresses common issues with clear phone cases. The company’s technology is designed to help maintain the clarity of transparent cases for an extended period compared to traditional materials, utilizing a nano-layer effect.
“We had been aware of the possibility of creating something different, but the engineering challenges were more complex than expected,” said Charlotte Yu, CASEKOO brand representative.
From Function to Play
While CASEKOO initially focused on practical solutions, the brand has recently embraced playful interactivity. In 2023, the company partnered with American actress Yara Shahidi, marking a shift from purely functional products to lifestyle accessories with fashion relevance.
“What we want to emphasize is how the Magic Stand can be both functional and fun,” explains Charlotte Yu during a recent product demonstration. “We’re aiming to highlight how it works practically while also inviting playful interaction.”
Adding a layer of personalized enjoyment, the new Pawfect Chill Time collection introduces three magnetic faceplates — called MagStickers — featuring Manyu in signature relaxed modes. One shows her with a soothing face mask, another wearing a cozy eye mask, and the third enjoying a bubble bath. These playful scenes draw on psychological principles such as emotional contagion — the idea that observing calm, relaxed imagery can encourage similar feelings in the viewer. It’s a concept widely used in meditation apps and wellness brands, now thoughtfully applied to an object we interact with frequently.

The collaboration with Little Manyu extends beyond marketing. Rooted in self-care, it connects with post-pandemic consumer behaviors, where wellness has become more integral to daily life rather than a luxury. This design direction mirrors broader trends in tech accessories.
