Catherine Shelton has been linked to several murders, all under odd circumstances, beginning with her first husband, Navy officer Matt Quinlan. Several such crimes remain unsolved to this day. Furthermore, her current spouse, Clint Shelton, is serving a life sentence for a murder he claims he did not commit. Catherine has always been a person of curiosity, and many information concerning the renowned defence attorney remain unknown.
What exactly did Catherine Shelton do?
In fact, Catherine never did anything, or at least did not pay the price for doing anything, but death has stalked her and those around her for decades. She first came to public attention after being suspected of shooting her husband Matt. Catherine stated that the gun was accidently discharged.
In 1976, a few years after the incident, she began dating George Tedesco. George was a doctor, and the relationship quickly deteriorated. According to rumours, he was in a violent relationship with Catherine.
George was discovered battered to death in his garage in 1979. Authorities discovered that Catherine had sued him for divorce following their breakup, alleging that she was his common-law wife.
She was never charged with murder, and the case is still unresolved. Following this episode, she began dating a reporter named Gary Taylor. Soon after, the latter became sceptical of her actions and desired to stop things. Catherine, on the other hand, summoned him to her home and shot him. He did able to flee and signal for assistance.
Catherine was subsequently charged with attempted murder, but she escaped this as well. Her initial trial yielded no results. Following that, the second trial found her guilty, but the decision was reversed on appeal. She received ten years of probation, of which she served only five.
One of her clients was found dead in the years that followed. Clint Shelton was her husband in 1981. On a murder accusation, he was also sentenced to life in prison. Catherine Shelton has kept a low profile since then, although she continues to deny any involvement in the crimes that have been linked to her.
