David Jerome Nicholson Lets Us Glimpse into a Day of a Fitness Coach

They say that a great way to get a good idea of a teaching or lesson is to look into the teacher’s way of life. That’s the mantra by which David Jerome Nicholson goes by as he not only looks to teach but also to directly impart a fully healthy lifestyle that puts wellness and fitness front and center. 

David Jerome is a fitness and nutrition coach from the Hampton Roads area who works hard to help people through a fully immersive regimen that embeds deep behaviors and habits that lead to long-term success. He first started his fitness journey after deciding to live for himself and to put importance on his eating and exercise habits. Today after mastering his own fitness journey, he’s here to help others achieve the same. 

For David Nicholson, fitness isn’t just a required regimen. It’s a passion. “I looked inward to find what had made me the happiest, and the answer was the gym,” David explains about what got him into fitness and health. “It not only is healthy for me but it fuels my drive to succeed each time I go. I feel this way because the results continuously announce themselves.”

As a part of the US Navy, David Jerome Nicholson puts in the work to serve others, both in the force and outside. When he isn’t on duty, he’s teaching others how to achieve the same results he has, helping people through weight loss programs, fitness regimens, and other programs that will help them feel lighter, more energetic, and ready to face the strict demands of everyday work and life. 

David Jerome has a schedule that works like a clock. He’s up every day at five in the morning and works a little before seven to eleven-thirty in the morning. Nicholson starts client sessions at noon and hits the gym. By three o’clock, he’s working on his social media content and decompressing from a full day. In the evenings, he prepares a systematized meal plan for the next day.  

On weekends, Nicholson likes to spend as much of his time working out, but he does take time to socialize and let loose once every other week by jumping into the nightlife scene. But overall, the fitness guru remains calculated and systemic in his life, which has helped him achieve more and still make time to help others succeed. 

David Jerome Nicholson believes in the power of focus and intent, maintaining that hard work plays a significant role in personal fitness and success. “The harder you work on yourself in return makes you a better product,” shares David. “It is a way of discovering and or rediscovering who you are. In addition, staying dedicated to a project that is forever changing will build the fortitude to press on for any other challenge you may face in life.” And while the fitness coach will readily admit that there are strict limits to his lifestyle and that of his clients, David and his students will agree that the trade-off has been worth it. 

David also likes to take time to network when at the gym, meeting with other business owners and people he can bounce off ideas with. Today, he focuses on providing face-to-face coaching to people in his immediate vicinity and nutrition planning with an accompanied grocery trip to set things right from the beginning.
