For pageantry enthusiasts, the United States of America Pageants’ national competition is an event that cannot be missed. This year, the competition will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from March 31 to April 2, and our very own USOA Ms New Jersey, Daya Burton, is ready to bring the crown home.
Daya Burton is not just a queen but also an inspiration to many. Her special quote, “Let me see your beauty,” is a reminder that true beauty lies within oneself. She believes that beauty is not just about physical appearance but also about one’s personality, values, and actions. Daya inspires people to be confident in their own skin and to embrace their unique qualities that make them beautiful.
Before leaving for the national competition, Daya celebrated her sendoff party on March 11 with her family, friends, and fellow pageant sisters. The queens USOA Teen New Jersey, USOA Miss New Jersey, USOA Mrs New Jersey and their director Denise McKeon were among the celebrants of the special occasion. In an publication, she expressed her gratitude for the love and support she has received from her loved ones, and also acknowledged that God is her guide; “his timing is perfect,” Daya passionately expressed, “if the crown is the blessing that God has for me, with open hands I will receive it; otherwise, I will be happy for the one who receives that blessing.“
As a representative of New Jersey, Daya needs the support of her community to bring the crown home. Voting is open, and anyone can vote by clicking on the provided link and selecting People’s Choice in each division, finding the representative of our state New Jersey (Teen, Miss, Ms, and Mrs New Jersey), and adding the amount they want to donate to the cause of the queens.
