But what truly sets Louis apart is his love for his beloved Pomeranian, Foxy, who recently passed away. Foxy taught Louis everything about life, and he carries her in his heart everywhere he goes. In her honor, Louis is passionate about giving back through Foxy’s Heart, an organization that Louis founded in her honor. Foxy’s Heart shines a light on pet families in need of veterinary care for their beloved animals, and Louis is dedicated to using his platform and influence to make a difference in the lives of these families and their pets.
”I want people to wake up and know their time is limited and to spend it with their loved ones. Time is more valuable than any money you can make or any goal you can achieve,” Louis says.
Louis’s acting career has also been shaped by his mother, who taught him how to live and love, and by famed acting coach Susan Batson, who taught him to act from a place of truth. “I was aged 10+ years my elder with hair and makeup for the EEZEE Choice commercial, so don’t be appalled at how badly I have aged. It’s all smoke and mirrors,” Louis jokingly adds.
Louis’s film work has also received critical acclaim, with his films “Long Nights Short Mornings” and “Shaded Reflections” premiering at prestigious festivals like SXSW and Cannes. In “Long Nights Short Mornings,” Louis played a quirky abstract artist from Brooklyn, and the film was directed by Chad Harbold and starred Shiloh Fernandez. “Shaded Reflections,” in which Louis played the lead role, premiered at the Manhattan Film Festival and was also displayed at the Cannes Film Festival.
