Being in the business of acting and entertainment, one should know the importance of authenticity in storytelling and performance. Having the foresight and emotional depth to understand where characters pull their strengths and weaknesses from is one way to turn a normal performance into an awe-inspiring, amazing production. For some actors, some of the best materials and inspiration come from personal experiences and passions.

This is where Louis Balletta comes in. Louis is an actor, writer, and media creator with a decade of experience in the industry, including the recent booking on the Sex and the City TV reboot “And  Just Like That” and his role on “The Blacklist”. He has also been featured in prestigious film festivals like Cannes and SXSW for his Netflix films. Louis will start work in the highly anticipated “Sex and the City” reboot in the coming future.

The New York-based actor and writer has been involved in filming numerous TV and Film productions around New York and Los Angeles, California. His filmography of over ten years has lent him a wealth of experience unlike any other.

In addition to his acting and writing skills, Louis is also a talented stand-up comedian, having performed his own material at well-known clubs like The Stand and Stand Up NY. He is also trained in stage combat, film fighting, and regularly plays basketball and works out to stay fit and healthy. Louis is also an ambassador for the labor union alternative company Eezee Choice, for which he has a national TV commercial running on three channels. He has worked with Vivianna Films and Destined Entertainment to produce both narrative and documentary content, a writer of biographical narratives for NFL and MLB companies, and has hosted an NBA podcast on Spotify and Apple Music. Having written extensively over the past ten years, he finds the most enjoyment in writing comedy sketches as well as Youtube scripts. In his writing process, he details a process he calls “the hook,” a tried and true method of catching the attention of viewers. Louis states, “the first 30 seconds is the most crucial to a Youtube video. I like to grab them by shocking them in the first sentence.”

But what truly sets Louis apart is his love for his beloved Pomeranian, Foxy, who recently passed away. Foxy taught Louis everything about life, and he carries her in his heart everywhere he goes. In her honor, Louis is passionate about giving back through Foxy’s Heart, an organization that Louis founded in her honor. Foxy’s Heart shines a light on pet families in need of veterinary care for their beloved animals, and Louis is dedicated to using his platform and influence to make a difference in the lives of these families and their pets.

”I want people to wake up and know their time is limited and to spend it with their loved ones. Time is more valuable than any money you can make or any goal you can achieve,” Louis says.

Louis’s acting career has also been shaped by his mother, who taught him how to live and love, and by famed acting coach Susan Batson, who taught him to act from a place of truth. This dedication to truth and authenticity is evident in all of Louis’s work, and is sure to bring depth and emotion to any project he is a part of.

But Louis’s talents don’t stop there. He is also an ambassador for the Beckford Bar, a fitness gem endorsed by Tyson Beckford and Ian Kay, and his national TV commercial for EEZEE Choice is currently running on three different channels.

“I was aged 10+ years my elder with hair and makeup for the EEZEE Choice commercial, so don’t be appalled at how badly I have aged. It’s all smoke and mirrors,” Louis jokingly adds.

Louis’s film work has also received critical acclaim, with his films “Long Nights Short Mornings” and “Shaded Reflections” premiering at prestigious festivals like SXSW and Cannes. In “Long Nights Short Mornings,” Louis played a quirky abstract artist from Brooklyn, and the film was directed by Chad Harbold and starred Shiloh Fernandez. “Shaded Reflections,” in which Louis played the lead role, premiered at the Manhattan Film Festival and was also displayed at the Cannes Film Festival.

As you consider potential talent for your projects, keep Louis Balletta in mind. Not only does he have the skills and experience to deliver strong performances, but he also brings a sense of authenticity, emotion, and dedication to his work that is sure to elevate any project. His love for his family and pets, and his passion for giving back, make him a unique and valuable asset to any production. With Foxy’s spirit by his side, he is sure to bring warmth, stillness, and inner peace to any role he takes on.

Don’t just take our word for it. Instead, take a look at Louis’s credits and watch some of his work for yourself. We think you’ll agree that he is a talent worth considering for your next project.
