Robert Hetsler and Eric Leopardi Announce Amazon Prime Docu-Series

A self-made businessman in Florida whose life was suddenly changed following a fiery vehicle malfunction has landed a book deal and a new docu-series on Amazon Prime, one that he hopes will inspire others to never give up.

The seven-episode docu-series and 45,000-word memoir follows the life of Dr. Robert Hetsler, a man whose lavish and hard-earned life in the Sunshine State was stripped of him following a malfunction that sent his Ford Roush Mustang up in flames.

Sustaining heavy burns to over 70 percent of his body and losing both of his hands, Hetsler was put into a medically-induced coma to save his life—only to find his life to be very different when he woke up.

The seven-part series will cover his rise to high society in Jacksonville, Florida, his tragic life-changing event, and his rise from the ashes as embarks to rebuild new purpose and meaning in his life.

The corresponding book will provide more detail, documenting his life and the tribulations that brought him to this point and his rise as a motivational speaker out to change lives through his own experiences.

The book and docu-series are scheduled to be released in the summer of 2021 and will kick off a national speaking tour as the books make their way to over 40,000 retailers.

Veteran Executive Producer Eric Leopardi will be taking a leading role with the show, which is currently being filmed in Jacksonville. In addition to covering the everyday life of Hetsler, the show will also dive into the details of his story and follow him through his ongoing legal battle with Ford.

The show is set to be released on Amazon Prime later this year.
