This past Thursday, August 22nd, the USOA New Jersey Pageants held an exciting and momentous event at the illustrious Noches de Colombia in Clifton, NJ. It was a night to remember as the organization officially unveiled the highly anticipated 2025 competition contestants. The atmosphere was festive, brimming with anticipation and an overwhelming sense of community spirit as each contestant took the stage to introduce themselves, share their compelling stories, and present their community service platforms.
Representing diverse backgrounds and various regions across the Garden State, the contestants captured the audience’s hearts with their passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to positively impacting their communities. These remarkable individuals will soon compete for the prestigious titles of USOA Teen, Miss, Ms., and Mrs. New Jersey 2025 on September 22nd at the Sheraton Hotel in Parsippany, NJ.
A Night of Inspiration and Aspiration
The presentation night was more than just an introduction; it celebrated the contestants’ journeys, achievements, and aspirations. As each hopeful participant stepped forward, the audience was treated to glimpse their unique personalities and the causes close to their hearts. President Councilman of the city of Paterson, Alex Mendez, took the opportunity to award a citation to the reigning USOA Teen New Jersey 2024, Sophia Gutiérrez Campodonico, and USOA Miss New Jersey 2024, Érica Odoemene, in recognition of their outstanding community service and their notable achievement of securing 3rd place in the national pageant. Additionally, he presented a special recognition to the State Executive Director, Dayaneiris Burton, for her exemplary work with all the participants.
