Master Brow Artist and Educator Evelina Yaguda Is Jazzing Up Your Eyebrow Game

Merging her artistic and beauty enthusiast sides gave birth to a new passion Evelina Yaguda never thought she would take up. Since she got on this journey, she has enjoyed every bit of it and is now taking it many notches higher. The journey to establishing her company, Bare Esthetics, started more accidental than planned, as it happened when she was trying to get a cosmetic tattoo artist for her eyebrows. She was recommended microblading instead, and from that point, Evelina was hooked.

She started by watching a cancer survivor’s microblading transformation video on YouTube, and the experience moved her to take action. In her words, “I began to think about what many women think when they look at their bare faces, and what a difference it makes when the face is framed with a correct brow shape.. and I set out to do something about that in my own way.” Being an expert at geometry, penmanship, design and symmetry, getting the hang of microblading was not difficult for her. She also always dreamed of becoming a plastic surgeon, which made her mind open to perfecting this skill.

Evelina Yaguda immersed herself into studying microblading, facial morphology, human anatomy, shaping, color theory and hair patterns. She began to practice from a spare bedroom and her friends and family made up her first clients. With their word-of-mouth recommendations and referrals, Evelina began to book more clients, so she decided to rent a bigger space to set up properly.

Her goal was to open a spa-like medical facility with different departments and professional specialists, state-of-the-art technology for a wow factor and a wow experience. Some months later, Bare Esthetics was born and is gradually making waves in New York. Clients rave about the impeccable service and treatment the spa offers.

Their location alone is something you shouldn’t miss. Easily accessible, the area they are in is gorgeous, with cobblestone streets surrounded by historical buildings. The aesthetic of the facility alone is enough to make her clients want to visit. Evelina and her team of designers made sure the place is what she envisioned it to be.

“The entrance is absolutely stunning! You can’t not stop and stare at the incredible flower ceiling and the gorgeous chandelier, floor-to-ceiling pipe shelves, along with the floor-to-ceiling mirror design,” Evelina describes. “As you walk into the facility, the first thing you see is the famous Queen B.E, which is a hand-painted full wall art piece of the queen’s face. We flew out artist Sarah Michal Shimunov from Arizona, and she blew us away with her skill. She ended up decorating a few walls in the facility!”

Evelina Yaguda has established Bare Esthetics to be a top spot in New York that offers semi-permanent eyebrows, laser hair removal, red carpet facials, IPL treatments, skin resurfacing, textural irregularities, leg vein removal, Botox & fillers, PRP treatments and IV Cocktails. Her five-year goal is to open another location in Miami, Florida and Long Island, New York. Launching her business remains her biggest accomplishment, and she would like every aspiring business owner to hear her story and be inspired.
