Divij started as an executive assistant at Motown Records. He spent some time in the music industry, learning all that he could about the entertainment world. Eventually, the music employee would get the chance to put his marketing and branding ideas to work. 

While watching a YouTube video, Divij came up with an idea for Mike Majlak and his then-girlfriend Lana Rhoades with a few campaigns that would promote Viagra pills. He reached out to Viagra brands and cold-emailed Mike to see if they would be interested in working with the medical company BlueChew. Both parties agreed, and the campaign became a huge success. That was the starting point of Divij’s career in influencer marketing and Division Media. 

After graduating from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, Divij Vaswani started Division Media. In only two years, the company would grow to a fifteen-man team with a headquarters in Los Angeles, California. It continues to book influencer talent without bias to race or gender, which has helped them advocate for equality while also reaching a bigger audience.
