Can you tell us about your writing process and how it has evolved over the course of your career?

As a young girl, I often wrote poetry and short stories, but when I was a teenager, I realized romance was my calling. I wrote an entire novel in a notebook while in high school. Early in my career, I would write whenever I had time around my work schedule, which carried through after I stayed home to raise my sons while I was part-time. I’m now blessed to be in a position where I write full-time from home. Through the years, I learned the guidelines for my genre, the ins and outs, and I’m grateful to have found my voice early on. I had amazing authors who supported me and gave immeasurable advice that I try to pay forward.

From the story concept, I flesh out plot ideas longhand, then research begins. I’m very thorough in my research, digging into everything from the climate of the setting to the characters’ careers. Though I write fiction, it needs to be grounded in fact. From there, I prefer to write the first chapter to get a feel for the stories and let the character tell it to me. After that’s complete, I jot down a timeline to look for plot, pacing, and conflict issues, which also helps me write faster. The characters don’t always listen, though.

My process has been pretty set for a long time. I tend to be a creature of habit and like routines. I write during daylight hours because I find I can separate work from personal if I’m on a schedule. After hours and weekends, I spend time with my family. Balance is important. My office is in my home on the main floor. I’m not someone who can write with a lot of distractions such as music or TV in the background. I prefer quiet. And there’s always coffee involved. Lots of coffee. The cats sometimes (always) insist on helping, but their grammar is atrocious.

Your books often incorporate elements of humor and wit. How do you balance the lighter moments with the more serious aspects of your stories?

Honestly, that is and always will be a struggle. Most of my books incorporate serious topics like depression, PTSD, social anxiety, body image issues, and assault survivors. In “Redwood Ridge,” autism, the deaf community, dementia caregivers, physical scars, and homelessness are addressed through characters experiencing them. In my opinion, medical conditions and social ailments are severely underrepresented in literature, especially romance, but just because a subject is difficult doesn’t mean we should ignore it. Thousands of people every day are affected.

For me, stability is key, but it’s difficult. Life isn’t always dark, nor light, and we are not the sum of our past mistakes or diagnoses. We laugh. We cry. We scream in anger or frustration. We worry. Yet, we love. There’s family, friendship, and hope. I try to pull from experiences and testimonies to make sure the scales are even. There are a few methods that have helped me achieve this.

If I find myself weeping on page 67 while writing a scene, then I know by page 70 I need to laugh. A timeline with chapter breakdowns aids in spotting pacing problems which can shift balance. My critique partners are great at letting me know while writing if they’re feeling bogged down by the page’s content. Once the manuscript is finished, I’ll often upload it to my tablet to read, and that’ll help point out imbalances.

Stuff happens. Reality isn’t all sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns. To eliminate the bad things means writing something unrealistic or unrelatable. The way I see it, and in my understanding based on reader responses, elements like these are what make the characters dimensional and a book memorable.

You’ve mentioned on social media that you enjoy photography. How does this hobby influence your writing, if at all?

Like most creative types, I get inspiration from everywhere. I’m not a professional, by any means, but photography tells a story. Lighting, the angle, the subject. I can see a tale in every image, and often get book concepts from doing so. A good chunk of my backlist came from photographs that spurned ideas. One such example is a photograph I spotted on a stock sight of a woman looking at herself in the mirror, but standing behind her in the reflection was an alternate version with white eyes and a deadpan expression. It was both haunting and mesmerizing. It’s part of how I got the doppelganger ghost theme in my second “Phantoms” book.

I enjoy a wide range of other creative outlets like gardening, crafts, and acrylic painting. My go-to is baking, however. Creating the perfect dessert and design is a wonderful mental break for me from writing. Plus, you get to eat it afterward.

What draws you to writing romance, and how do you approach writing these scenes?

I read a wide variety of genres when I was younger. Frankly, I still do today, but when I read my first romance, it gave me a visceral reaction. Profoundly. I set that book aside and knew, just knew, that was what I was going to do someday. I was going to write love stories. As a child, I had all these tales in my head and alternate versions of reality. I’d rather live in make-believe. Yet, when I finished that romance, it was as if all that swirling came to a halt with a specific landing.

Writing love scenes might be difficult for some writers, but it comes naturally to me. Probably because it isn’t about me, at all. It’s about the characters and what they’re experiencing. They are living, breathing entities in my head who have a story to tell, and I help them with that. I’m merely the conduit.

There is nothing more basic than love. We all strive for it, and we all deserve to be loved. It’s what often keeps us going and gives us hope. That connection to another soul offers a sense of completion within ourselves that we hadn’t realized we’d been lacking. What I adore about the romance genre is that, in a sometimes cruel and ugly world, it creates an escape that’s relatable, and always has a happy ending.

What advice would you give to aspiring writers who are just starting out in the industry?

Eesh, this is a loaded question. One without a specific answer. Each writer must find his or her own path, and figure out what their goals are. However, there are a few things that are universal, and some solid advice I got when I first began.

Read in the genre you want to write. Research. It’s one of the best things you can do to your credit. Find yourself a writing community in the same genre. I’d suggest one or two critique partners. They are invaluable. Find your voice and stick to it. This will come naturally to you the more you write. Make connections with other writers and bloggers. Reviewers are your friends. Be kind. Encourage, don’t discourage. Pay it forward.

As for the writing, draft a great story. Show don’t tell. Avoid too many adverbs and clichés. Less is more. Use the 5 senses. Utilize metaphors and similes sparingly. Limit dialogue tags. Emphasize body language. Pace the story and have solid conflict. Separate internal from external conflict/dialogue and be sure it’s balanced. Don’t bog down with backstory or be repetitive. Tie up loose ends. Read aloud. Edit, edit, edit. Then, edit some more.

Most of all, never quit. If you want it bad enough, go after it. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that it won’t happen. The biggest advocate for your work and your dreams is you.

Georgina Fatseas Chronicles Tales of Destruction and The Obelisk: Unveiling the Invisible Scars of War

Georgina Fatseas, a rising author and storyteller, has ventured into uncharted territory with her latest works, Destruction and The Obelisk. These two captivating novels delve into the profound consequences of war, shedding light on the often-overlooked emotional scars carried by veterans.

In Destruction, which Fatseas-Sano penned during the COVID-19 lockdown, she draws inspiration from a variety of sources. Her keen interest in current affairs and international news, regularly featured on Australian television, provided a catalyst for this gripping crime/mafia tale. Additionally, her fascination with European documentaries—exploring history, culture, and natural wonders—deepened her understanding of the world in which her characters would unfold.

The story of Destruction unravels when Stefan Nowak discovers three newspapers featuring fabricated stories about his son, Ivan, with different women. This revelation sets off a chain of events that places the Nowak family in imminent danger from the Polish mafia. Forced to enter witness protection, they soon discover that leaks within the system compromise their safety, leading to a relentless series of attacks. As the mafia’s frustration mounts, they shift their focus to destroying Nowak’s international flower trade business and targeting their employees and associates.

Amidst the chaos, the police hatch an audacious plan, creating a fictional business specializing in exotic Polish food. By merging their operations with the mafia, the authorities hope to infiltrate the criminal organization. Unbeknownst to the mafia, their pursuits align with a larger political agenda, as Mr. Bigs, a high-ranking member, colludes with the Russian government in their quest to revive past glories.

Fatseas-Sano weaves intricate plot developments throughout Destruction, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. Her narrative challenges readers to become detectives, piecing together the clues that reveal a surprising and unexpected ending.

Meanwhile, The Obelisk draws from deeply personal encounters with three Austrian World War Two veterans. Fatseas-Sano embarked on a heartfelt mission to unearth their stories, recognizing that the mental wounds inflicted by war often remain buried beneath layers of silence. The author emphasizes the significance of acknowledging and understanding the invisible scars veterans carry, as society tends to focus solely on visible physical injuries.

These veterans, like her own Austrian-born uncle, often grapple with the trauma of war long after the battles have ended. Fatseas-Sano recalls her uncle’s profound reaction when encountering a World War Two program on television, triggering memories that left him sobbing. Curiosity compelled her to inquire further, and her uncle reluctantly shared glimpses of the horrors he endured during the conflict. His account revealed the atrocities of war, including forced conscription, witnessing executions, and a desperate life as a deserter on the run.

In The Obelisk, Fatseas-Sano combines her research with her passion for history, exploring the intricate web of human experiences shaped by war. She highlights the invaluable perspectives veterans offer and the critical need for society to engage in empathetic dialogue. By sharing their stories, she aims to break the barriers of silence that often shroud these veterans, allowing their experiences to be heard and understood.

Georgina Fatseas-Sano’s writing transcends entertainment, serving as a powerful reminder of the lingering effects of war. Her novels, Destruction and The Obelisk, illuminate the invisible struggles faced by those who served, challenging readers to confront the painful realities hidden beneath the surface. Through her work, she invites us to foster empathy, extend gratitude, and provide support to those who have sacrificed so much for our collective well-being.

Pastor Maggie Bellevue shares “Discovering Meaning through Self-Worth: A Path to Purpose”

“It is difficult to make a man miserable while he feels worthy of himself.” – Abraham Lincoln.

Purpose is a matter of overwhelming importance in the life of anyone. Many people find themselves toiling on seemingly arduous and unproductive life ventures because they have yet to take time to discover their authentic purpose in life. Yet, if the sacrosanct truth is told, the rewards of devoting time and effort to find one’s purpose far outweigh any professional and financial benefits that may accrue from obtaining degrees from Ivy League schools and gliding blithely into the highest-paying jobs after that. Without seeking and finding one’s purpose, all those apparent dividends of success might only end up ringing hollow at the end of the day. Nothing is quite as despairing as stories about many people who end up unfulfilled after working tirelessly for an entire lifetime in a field that ended up being at variance with a true purpose they never took the time to discover. Although some people seem sufficiently lucky to find their purpose early in life, possibly by mere accident, this is not the case for the vast majority. Most of us are not deliberate enough to dig deep for those genuine yearnings of theirs that come wrapped as the beautiful package called purpose. The point ought to arrive in a person’s life when the need to pause and take stock becomes necessary. We need to slow down instead of spending our entire lives jumping from one unfulfilling venture to the next in search of what makes us truly happy. Finding your true life purpose should be such a critical mission because it is your only guaranteed path to genuine happiness and contentment.

Purpose is unique to each person. There are three main areas where one typically connects with and expresses a purposeful existence. Without necessarily intending to peddle a pun, each area speaks to purposefully seeking self-worthiness in one’s life. The more worthy one feels about one’s activities and relationships, the more one lives purposefully. The first of these areas is a career or vocation meaningfully aligned with your values. The second area lies in aligning your relationship with your family, friends, and your community with your personal values. At the same time, the third is the attempt to seek meaning and fulfillment through your spiritual beliefs. Some people are aligned with their purpose in only one of these areas, while others are aligned with their purpose in one or more, or all three. It is essential to know your purpose and live your life in and with it. Living with purpose means finding yourself worthy enough to work, connect with, and understand your purpose so well that you can consciously choose to align with that purpose in one or more areas of your life, as described above. Naturally, your values are closely allied to your purpose. You will need to identify your core values in each area of your life, including your spiritual well-being, work, family, and friends. To live with purpose is to live with intention. Living intentionally means you have a plan for where you are going, so you knowingly allow your values to guide you as you make choices and set goals for your life.

Think back to a period when you were completely disoriented. In every likelihood, you were at a crossroads, completely unsure of the next turn to take. When you don’t know where you’re going, life might seem boring and useless to you. “What am I even doing here? Where do I go from here?” These are questions you might predictably ask yourself. Undoubtedly, this can be one of the most unsettling mental states in which we can find ourselves. This is why people with clear goals tend to have a higher sense of self-worth and, by extension, a higher sense of self-esteem. The human being in us earnestly desires and seeks a purpose for our existence. As I previously mentioned, some of us are incredibly fortunate that we discover the purpose of our life’s work early enough. It would seem that some people are practically born with a microphone in hand, belting out songs that make us break out in goose pimples, while some appear to have been solving the most complicated of algorithms and equations right from their mother’s womb. For the generality, however, it is more of a guessing game until they finally appear to achieve a certain equilibrium in their sense of purposeful living.

Contrary to the belief of many, your purpose does not necessarily have to be your passion. Sometimes, matters tend to resolve themselves much better that way. Some people are fortunate enough to be able to transform their passion into their livelihood, in the process genuinely enjoying the aspects that they truly love about that vocation. For you, and perhaps, many others, matters may not be that simple. That path may actually end up destroying your perception of your passion and make you abandon your authentic life pursuit. Yet, you can still build your career on something that you are passionate. How do you know you are pursuing your life’s work? You might find these guidelines helpful.

  1. That vocation is a seamless extension of your beliefs and values.
  2. You are willing to endure adversity in that work and use setbacks as motivation.
  3. You lose yourself in that work, often totally losing your sense of time.
  4. You can maintain the appropriate work/life balance without feeling drained.
  5. The prospect of work is never daunting to you, and you look forward to it.
  6. The people closest to you cannot help notice your absolute contentment.
  7. No matter how exhausted you are, you still look forward to continue to work.

The question is often asked, “Can we exist without a purpose?” Technically speaking, we can exist without a purpose. Yet, whenever we engage in any activity, no matter how menial and lofty, there is always an intention behind it. Even the commonplace act of breathing is for the physiologic intent to live. Your purpose is not under the obligation of being your cash cow. In fact, it might just be the opposite. The ultimate motivation is not always fortune or fame. Sometimes, it is merely the exultation and independence of spirit. Authentic success, contrary to consensus, is often not all about a bank account bursting at the seams with dollars and should also seek expression in the currency of happiness, for one is only too familiar with many millionaires on the world stage who are extremely unhappy, and really ought to be doing something else. The pertinent point is that we all have a purpose, and whether or not others recognize that purpose is irrelevant. The ancient Greeks believed that no human being is complete without a sense of purpose, and once that purpose is discovered, peace is achieved only when you sacrifice yourself to it entirely.

Living with a sense of purpose tends to give you a sense of high self-worth and, by extension, higher self-esteem. Any discussion about self-worth must start with a definition of self-esteem. Although the two are intimately related, they are not the same. Most of your self-esteem comes from things outside of yourself that you can’t change. Self-esteem is made up of all the thoughts and feelings you have at any given time. These ideas and feelings directly affect how you do, what you get done, and how well you do it. Self-esteem is built mostly on the value you get from doing things that help you get what you want.

Yet, it is significantly more than just about “doing” something. Instead, self-esteem comes directly from how you feel at any given time. Stretching it further, how you feel about yourself is heavily influenced by how you think you are fairing compared to others. Your self-esteem comes from what you think other people “think” of you based on your results and actions. With all of this in mind, it’s clear that self-esteem isn’t something that comes from inside of us. Instead, it’s something that comes from outside of us and affects how we feel at any given time. Of course, how we feel at any given moment has nothing to do with what’s going on. Instead, it is purely based on our perspective and interpretation of that reality. Given all this, it also becomes clear that self-esteem is rather fickle and can shift with changing opinions and circumstances. On the other hand, people with a high sense of self-worth don’t feel that way. When we have a lot of self-worth, our self-esteem goes up automatically, giving us the same self-confidence.

Conversely, self-worth is an internal state of being that derives from self-love, self-understanding, and self-acceptance. Self-worth, to its eternal credit, remains unchanging and timeless since it is a direct measure of how you value and regard yourself, despite the opinion of others about you. Therefore, it does not change with external factors or circumstances. Self-worth is steady. It is implacable and unflinching. That is why it possesses the power to radically transform your life for the better. To possess a high level of self-worth is to have a favorable estimate of yourself and your abilities and capabilities. Having a high degree of self-worth means feeling worthy of the good and wonderful dividends that accrue from your efforts at self-actualization. It means feeling worthy and deserving of health, wealth, happiness, and love, notwithstanding life’s inevitable difficulties and vagaries. To have a high sense of self-worth, you must fully accept yourself, and at all times, warts and all. You fully accept being flawed, weak, and limited. Yet, that acknowledgment does not prevent you from recognizing the real value of who you are. To have a high level of self-worth is to never allow yourself to be defined by outside forces, including the opinions of others. It also means never allowing outcomes to shake your confidence, faith, and resolve. In the circumstances, no matter what happens, you are steadfast. Nothing outside of you influences how you feel about yourself. You, and only you, will always be the most important part of how you feel about yourself, your life, and your situation. That, in truth, and indeed, is the source of your power, and that is what allows you to purposefully pursue your life of purpose.

Building The Future with Imagination: Aline Frankfort and Jean-Louis Baudoin’s “Shapership” Provides Inspiration to Shape the Future

The world is constantly changing, and adapting to new circumstances has become crucial for success. Aline Frankfort and Jean-Louis Baudoin, co-founders of Shapership and renowned creative strategic thinkers, have recently published a new book titled ‘The Art of Shapership.’ It provides a comprehensive guide on how to become “shapers” of the future.

Originally published in French, ‘The Art of Shapership’ is not just a book but a philosophy that Aline and Jean-Louis have developed through their work over the past decades. They believe that the ability to make different futures visible, desirable and actionable is vital in our current volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world. They wanted to share the philosophy of Shapership with a wider audience.

Aline and Jean-Louis had a strong desire to see their book published in English, and their wish became a reality when they were introduced to Peter Lopez, founder of Publify Press, through an influencer in California.

According to Jean-Louis, “We realized that people all over the world feel overwhelmed by the constant and drastic changes happening around them. We wanted to provide a framework of thinking for those who want to make more conscious and imaginative decisions on how they contribute to society.”

In “The Art of Shapership,” Aline and Jean-Louis take their 25 years of practice and proven results to provide readers with the strategies required to redraw their mental maps and open new paths toward desirable futures.

With ‘Shapership,’ Aline and Jean-Louis provide readers with mindsets, skillsets and strategies needed to start living a life of Purpose and Impact.

They believe that every person, anywhere in the world, can become a ‘shaper’ from the moment they face reality in fresh, creative, and visionary ways. In doing so, they can open new paths toward better futures for the world.

The fact is, in today’s interconnected world, you no longer have to hold a leadership position to take a stand, do something important, and make an impact on society.

Shapership provides a map and a guide that includes examples, evidence, and guided material that will help the reader look at the world through new lenses and craft new realities in meaningful ways.

It offers opportunities to discover the power and freedom to change the stories that shape our lives so we can change the way we shape the world.

The book is a call to action, equipping readers to think outside the box and challenge societal limitations. According to Aline, “Our world is changing at an unprecedented pace. We are facing complex challenges, such as climate change and technological disruption, that require anyone to escape from today’s paradigms and transform our mental maps. Shapers are the ones who can create these solutions and lead us into the future.”

Shapers are thoughtful and mindful people who have the imagination, courage, flexibility, and capacity to see things differently, creatively reinvent approaches, and open new paths toward the future.

Writing is just one aspect of Aline and Jean-Louis’ work. Their company provides executive coaching, team workshops, and an original education project called the Shapership Academi and modules taught at top universities.

As a philosophy, Shapership helps build the future on imagination and desire rather than fear or despair.

If you are looking to change your mindset and shape your destiny, now is the time to begin your journey. “Shapership” was the #1 new release on Amazon in the U.S. and the U.K. Grab your copy today and change your life!

Powerhouse Jeanet Wade Talks About Her Bestselling Book ‘The Human Team: So, You Created A Team But People Showed Up!’

Jeanet Wade is an Expert EOS Implementer, the founder of Business Alchemist, and the best-selling author of The Human Team: So, You Created A Team But People Showed Up! Her coaching framework allows leadership teams to simplify complex problems and drive bottom-line results. Jeanet has over 25 years of leadership experience, which fuels her passion for helping entrepreneurs maximize the growth and effectiveness of their businesses.

Jeanet’s facilitating, teaching, and coaching style has made her a prominent EOS Implementer and one of the Top 100 People to Know to Succeed in Business by St. Louis Small Business Monthly. She resides in Missouri with her business partner and husband, Marshall Wade.

How did you come up with the title for your book The Human Team: So, You Created a Team But People Showed Up?

It started out with the frustration that managers have when people “show up” on their team. Many leaders and managers don’t know how to handle “humanness.” That was the working title in my head, the “but people showed up” line. That became the subtitle. The Human Team came out of my belief that we create healthy business growth and healthy teams the same way; by seeing the people on our teams as human and “activating” their human potential.

How do you find your passion?

I find my passion in making things better for others, especially when I’ve been in their shoes. I always think, “There has to be a way that is better for humans and businesses.” So when I was frustrated by not being able to achieve my own potential in toxic workplaces, I became driven to solve this so that we have healthier workplaces for all.

What is one of the key motivators that you feel drive employee morale in today’s work environment?

I believe that all six of the human needs I’ve identified are factors in motivation and morale. But the one I would say is the key motivator is Consideration. When we feel considered for our value as a human, and we are treated with consideration and appreciation, we are naturally motivated to strive and contribute.

What was your biggest challenge in writing your first book, and how did you overcome that challenge?

I had an ongoing mental dialogue about whether or not my work was valuable enough to warrant a book and if another book was really needed in the world. I only wanted to do it if it would be valuable. When I ran it by a few trusted colleagues, I knew I had to do it. I also believed that it would be most valuable if it was simple, accessible, and easy to understand and apply. I think complexity is easy; simplicity is hard. I was driven to simplify, and the book was the outcome.

Now that the first book is out and doing well, is there another book in the works in 2023 or what, in general, is the next step for you and your business in 2023?

I’ve been creating a series of eBooks as companions to The Human Team. These are focused on responding to current business challenges and trends and are meant to augment the broader focus of the book. The first one, How to Maximize Your Company’s Greatest Asset, is available to download here, and the second, written in collaboration with the Charter Certified Human Team Activators, will be released in January 2023. I’m continuing to speak to audiences about The Six Facets of Human Needs™, and of course, my core commitment will always be working with teams to create healthy teams and growing businesses.

Word Up

The Power of God is all that you need to change your life. ‘Word Up’ by Carla J. Smith is a life-changing book for all the believers of Christianity – who are like a family. A firm faith in God saves you from many uncertainties in life; it teaches you the way through life and helps you become strong.

‘Word Up’ by Carla talks about human’s relationship with God. There is always that one person who introduces you to the power of God, his majesty and supreme being in the universe and beyond the universe. For Carla, it was her mother who encouraged her to serve in Church, from junior ushers, singing the church choir, attending Sunday school, morning worship service, and the Baptist Training Union on Sunday evenings. Once you enter Church, you will see how Church will change you and your life. The teachings instill ethics, morals, and values which will help you in the future.

Carla, in her book ‘Word Up,’ helps the readers believe in God’s love, His ultimate grace, and mercy that has the power to change your whole life. Just like Carla, whose life was changed forever by the love of God. Many people wrongly assume that God’s words are just words, but in reality, his words are powerful. They are strong enough to heal a broken heart; it is his words through which the world has been framed.

In her book ‘Word Up’ she highlights that the Word is unique and cannot be added to or taken away from by any man or institution. Unity in Christ is not just a physical or organizational unity, but a spiritual unity based on a relationship with the Father and the Son and a shared attitude towards the world, righteousness, and the lost. To truly understand and benefit from the Word, one must accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and allow the Holy Spirit to guide them in understanding and living out the Word.

Carla J. Smith has many roles to play in her life, from being a wife to grandmother, worker, leader, teacher, military veteran, former First Lady, and much more. Through her book ‘Word Up,’ Carla helps her readers understand that the power of God is the supreme authority. His words are comforting and help the believers fill the void inside them. His words provide comfort to the painful heart. For anyone who wishes to change their life and find the power to change their life, this book ‘Word Up’ serves as guidance.

For anyone who wishes to find the true path leading toward God, ‘Word Up’ by Carla J. Smith is for you. It is an influential book that will help you discover the truth about God’s word and its impact on human life. Are you ready to change your life? 5 Reasons Why You Should Read Real Revival

Image Commercially Licensed From: Unsplash

Over the course of history, religious texts and biblical commentaries have been written in error, and honorable men have been unjustly wronged because they have been quoted out of context. These unfortunate occurrences are owing to many different reasons and often because of differences in the interpretation of religious texts. Individuals may interpret religious texts differently, leading to division and even conflict. Spiritual Revival is not immune to this occurrence in history. There are also differences in the emphasis placed on certain beliefs, i.e., some individuals may place more emphasis on certain beliefs than others, leading to differences in their views on spiritual Revival. Lastly, the influence of personal bias in the matter of spiritual Revival is a key factor that cannot be overlooked. Personal biases can influence an individual’s interpretation of religious texts and their beliefs about spiritual Revival.

  1. Thomas Kozubal, in his latest work, Real Revival, has used Bible as his source as it is the greatest, most accurate, and complete commentary on spiritual Revival. The author also has written it to reaffirm what spiritual Revival is according to Scripture and to encourage the Body of Christ to rediscover the simple truth about what God has to say concerning it. So, if you’re looking to gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual Revival, here are five main reasons why this is the book for you:
  • Spiritual Revival From A Biblical Perspective

Many books about spiritual Revival have been written from either a historical or personal experience perspective. Real Revival was written from a very different standpoint. The author has gone back to the Biblical record to define spiritual Revival with the idea that what God has to say about Revival is the definitive explanation

  • Need for Spiritual Revival

The book emphasizes on the Need for Spiritual Revival. There are many present-day issues that compete for our collective attention, and at their root, nearly all of them have a spiritual element. As it relates to Christianity, the author believes that among those issues, the need for spiritual Revival is pre-eminent. There is a great deal of evidence that points to the fact that the Church is asleep and that she must be awakened!

  • Connection between Spiritual Revival and the Spirit’s Fruit

The Bible is an inexhaustible book, a bottomless well of wisdom and guidance. In Real Revival, the author introduces his reader to a connection rarely, if ever, addressed in discussions about spiritual Revival:  the presence and demonstration of the Fruit of the Spirit. How different and better off would our congregations, communities, and collective societies be if the Fruit of the Holy Spirit were on display in our lives?

  • Importance of Abiding in Christ

We live in a complex and often confusing world! The truth is that the speed and choice technology provides us today often overwhelms and even paralyzes us. While it is meant to connect us to more people and more things, our technology-driven world, more often than not, has the opposite effect: it leaves us feeling disconnected and isolated. In Real Revival, the author points us back to the simplicity and necessity of a real and enduring connection with Jesus Christ… According to the author, “I believe the goal of any theological work should be to shed new light or at least reaffirm a timeless truth of Scripture from a different perspective.”

  • Encourage the Body of Christ to Walk by the Spirit

Many books about revival chronicle the effects of peoples’ experiences in Revival. They recount the feelings, emotions, and even the effects on societies. But in another connection of Biblical truths, the author explains the end result of a Spirit-Filled life, the expected result of Revival in our hearts and daily living, according to Scripture.
