Rodney Hamlet on What Truly Makes for Remarkable Living

When one thinks of a remarkable life, most will imagine a life of plenty and style—cruising in yachts or drinking champagne on private jets. Others might think of highly influential platforms like having millions of followers on Facebook or YouTube or appearing on the top new channels. But Rodney Hamlet is here to show another way to live. The father of two and avid lover of life wants to exemplify a life of being extraordinary in the seemingly ordinary.

“Many people don’t see the simple process of waking up every morning and getting to work on time,” shares Rodney about this profound point of view. “We’re all just doing all you can to be the best version of yourself every day. It’s the easiest thing you can do, be available and motivated.” In a time where social media’s clout seems to push a flexing mentality of high-rolling lifestyles and sports cars, Hamlet believes that it’s the little things that truly matter. With that perspective, anyone can be successful, and everyone can be extraordinary.

Rodney Hamlet is quickly someone anyone can look at and say, “I can be just like him.” A hardworking and faithful father to his two children, Aubri and Averi Hamlet, Rodney seeks nothing more than making the best of whatever he has in life. Unfortunately, nothing came easy for Rodney as he was growing up. He grew up in a single-parent home and lived in poverty for most of his life.

Hamlet hails from Carteret, New Jersey. He spent a lot of time moving around, spending anywhere between three to five months in one neighborhood before moving to the next. Although his beginnings weren’t ideal, Rodney would work his way up and later join the military. During that season of his life, he got to serve his country and fellow citizens, a privilege and accomplishment he always cherishes.

For Rodney, being a dad to Averi and Aubri is the top priority airways. “I’m making sure my children get to live life the easiest way possible,” he shares. “I wish for them to go through life not needing anything from anyone. Those boys get the world as long as I’m able to do it every single day. Never being in the position where I’m broke and can’t afford the basic necessities.”

Rodney hopes that the way he prioritizes and cherishes his kids would become a source of inspiration for many men in the country and world, showing them all that they can win just by being there.

Fatherlessness and single-parent homes are a climbing statistic in today’s broken society. As a result, more and more children are growing up without father heads to look up to. Rodney Hamlet hopes to be a simple catalyst that would change that trajectory for as many kids as he can by speaking to fathers about the importance of family and what it means to train up and raise beautiful children.

With that mentality, Rodney hopes to show so many that they can win in life by giving their children the gift of their presence and love. To follow more of Rodney’s content, check out his Instagram profile.
