Currently Paul is focused on building out future endeavors for a better future for generations to come through sustainable energy & wealth creation. Paul credits his success to always focusing on strong relationships with those that he works with & a constant focus on value creation for those that he works with. To learn more about Paul Thomas Croft, we sat down with the successful entrepreneur to learn what advice he recommends new entrepreneurs & business professionals follow to have success in today’s marketplace.

Value Creation For All

Paul is a huge advocate for value creation in the professional world, particularly inside his organization(s). It is important as Paul mentioned, to always be focused on ways to provide value to your team and incentivize them to succeed. Croft went on to say: “You want to build an organization where your staff doesn’t feel the need to kiss up to you but rather they feel the urge to share the success that they have had in their role with the organization.” Incentivizing your staff to succeed may seem like a bottom line decline, but Paul sees it the other way around. Furthermore, Paul went on to say: “The more you are engaged with your team & the more they feel comfortable to work harder in alignment with their personal goals — the more successful your organization will perform month over month.”

Valuable Relationships Are Assets

Croft is known as a very personable fun entrepreneur & business owner to many. Due to his altruistic & happy go lucky attitude, Paul has been able to build an amazing company culture. When building an organization or doing business with consumers or businesses, Croft stresses the importance of sheer focus on relationship building. The stronger the relationship the better, at the end of the day all businesses rely on one factor — know, like, & trust. Paul went on to say: “Just like value creation, valuable relationships are absolutely essential to long term success. I would go as far to say that relationships are the single most important aspect for any business. You will be surprised how much further your organization grows in relation to your time & money allocation to relationship building for your business.”

Value Your Time At Any Point In Your Business Plan Cycle

Paul understands that for any new business or venture there will be a considerable amount of time and effort put forth to get the ball rolling. In fact, Croft believes that even as your business grows you will always have to work just as hard as you did when you started. The difference that Paul stresses is simple, make sure all of your activities are money making ones. Your time allocation needs to be geared toward activities that are going to drive top and bottom line results for your business to continue to grow for years to come. Paul specifically recommends outsourcing any and all work relative to your business that is administrative for new business owners & professionals so that they can align with their goals and make sure they are getting the results that they have set out to achieve. As Paul mentions: “You can always make more money, time on the other hand is something none of us can get back. Don’t waste your precious time and bandwidth doing things you know you could hire another professional to do for your organization.
