A Global Fashion Platform Founded in Los Angeles
Founded by Minaaz Zafar, a Los Angeles-based fashion designer and entrepreneur, Runway by Minaaz was created to give emerging and established designers the opportunity to present their collections before an international audience. Alongside showcasing her own luxury fashion label, Designz by Minaaz, the inaugural edition united designers from over 25 countries, creating an extraordinary celebration of craftsmanship, heritage, and contemporary fashion.
The runway featured a remarkable range of collections, from couture and eveningwear to cultural garments, modern tailoring, and innovative ready-to-wear. Each designer brought a unique creative voice while collectively demonstrating how fashion transcends borders and connects cultures.
Each designer had room to present a full collection rather than a single look, so the audience could follow a complete creative statement from every label. Emerging names shared the same platform as established houses. The program moved between tradition and experimentation while keeping its focus on craft. That balance gave the debut its distinct character, rooted in Dubai yet global in outlook.

The event was produced by Chris Quraishi, with Parimal Mehta and Vahbiz Mehta serving as Show Directors, whose expertise and creative direction helped deliver an exceptional international fashion experience.
