Nicholas Korn Announces the Arrival of the New Wild Sonnets Book

American poet, Nicholas Korn, is proud to announce that his poetry book series called The Wild Sonnets, which is popular for its exploration of the human experience through the lens of nature, continues to captivate readers with its seventh installment. The Wild Sonnets: Volume VII (601-700) delves into a particularly thought-provoking theme: the intricate ways humans acquire and engage with knowledge.

Through carefully crafted sonnets, Nicholas Korn invites his readers to ponder the diverse pathways that lead to understanding. For him, one of these paths is learning by experience. The poems often evoke vivid imagery of nature, reminding people that the most profound lessons can come from direct interactions with the world. Whether it’s a nettle’s sting or the summer sun’s warmth, experiences shape human perception and understanding.

Reflection is another key theme explored in the sonnets in this seventh installment. By turning inward and examining a person’s thoughts and feelings, Nicholas Korn’s poems encourage his readers to pause, contemplate, and find meaning in their experiences. Writing, reading, memory, intuition, prediction, and prophecy are also among the pathways Nicholas explores in this book.

Through its beautiful language and evocative imagery, the newest book in the series continues to captivate readers and inspire more profound reflection on the nature of our existence.

For Nicholas Korn, every book in the Wild Sonnets series resembles an art gallery. Each poem is like a piece of art that can be appreciated individually or as part of a more extensive collection. There are no specific messages, but each is designed to provide immersive experiences that evoke various emotions and thoughts, reflecting life’s complexity and randomness. For the structure and sensibility of The Wild Sonnet series, Nicholas Korn found inspiration from great poets of the past, most notably: William Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, Dylan Thomas, E.E. Cummings, Gerard Manley Hopkins, and John Donne.

The Wild Sonnets: Volume VII proudly features the 100 poems Nicholas Korn wrote from 2023 to 2024. The book is now available in paperback and as a digital download in both epub and pdf formats. The digital edition features a convenient hyperlinked index of first lines and is compatible with any mobile device or desktop.
