The music industry is home to the most creative people on the planet. Musical artists are always constantly innovating the scene, conjuring up sights, sounds, and emotions that we’ve never even felt before. The power of music as a genuine form of self-expression has been deemed as a cerebral art form, and Los Angeles-based hip-hop artist Crunch is carving his own path in the musical landscape, and we are all bearing witness to history in the making.
Before his dynamic entry into the music scene, Crunch had already affiliated himself with the biggest celebrities in the world. He had a long-standing career behind the scenes tied to some of music’s biggest acts. He was a stand-in and photo double for Tupac Shakur in his movies, including John Singleton’s “Poetic Justice,” “Above the Rim,” and “Menace to Society.”
Crunch also made cameo appearances in Tupac’s music videos “I Get Around,” “Keep Your Head Up,” and “Holla If You Hear Me.” The renowned hip-hop artist describes his time with the prolific rapper as “A cool learning experience, I learned what to do, and what not to do.” As he began ushering in his music career, he initially got a start by connecting with Madonna’s current manager Guy Oseary, who also happens to be the owner of Maverick Records.
There’s so much going on behind the scenes with Crunch’s tenured career, which is why his sudden rise to music popularity was all but inevitable. He worked behind the scenes with Christina Millian while she appeared in his music video “Turn It Up” at thirteen years old. Nowadays, his thriving music career has seen the release of four records and two mixtapes which have cemented him as a staple in the world of hip-hop.
His latest single, “Twerk & Roll,” is the lead single off of his album Lethal, which was released for free to all major streaming platforms on July 22, 2021. The single and album are also available on the artist’s website. On August 2, 2021, Crunch also released a music video for “Twerk & Roll” on YouTube.
Crunch has grown a massive reputation by releasing songs reminiscent of the golden age of hip-hop. He describes his music as “real hip-hop” that oozes substance with impeccable lyricism.
“I am hip-hop. I was born to rap, many are called, and few are chosen. I was given a gift. It’s my responsibility to share it with as much of the world as that will listen,” said Crunch.
Apart from his hip-hop career, the talented artist is also a gifted entrepreneur. He recently established his own clothing and apparel line with the artist’s merchandise plastered with his signature logo. In the near future, Crunch envisions himself becoming an even bigger success in the music industry. He hopes to help other aspiring artists to become successful as he teaches them the way and inspires them through his craft. Crunch is bringing hip-hop music and entertainment the world has never seen before, and it’s extremely exciting how this artist will grow further in the coming years.
