Ozone, a naturally occurring compound, has unparalleled disinfection properties, making it highly effective in killing pathogens and viruses without leaving any chemical residue behind. Because of its effectiveness, several industries are currently utilizing ozone for disinfection. 

“The technology has been around for 20-plus years,” Khazaieli explains. “There are plenty of ozone disinfectors on the market but none of them are well-suited for use in an indoor environment or high traffic setting. We’ve developed a system with all of the disinfecting power, and zero emission of ozone into the surrounding environment.  That’s the key innovation here.”

Eco-friendly: A Game-Changer

Another standout feature of this technology is its energy efficiency. Traditional disinfection methods, such as UV sterilization and heat-based processes, consume significant amounts of energy. Trinion Labs’ ozone-based solution is 100 times more energy-efficient and has no harmful byproducts, making it eco-friendly. This reduces operational costs and provides a robust defense vector in disaster recovery and engineered pandemic responses. 

Outside the United States, there’s a very high secondary medical market. Reggie explains, “A key thing about our technology is it generates disinfecting gas at the point of use, meaning there’s not a consumable that you have to ship across the world. If you’re in the desert, you could plug it into a generator. It’ll have the same effectiveness that it would have in a hospital without shipping canisters of disinfectant across the world. It doesn’t need to happen.” 

The eco-friendly aspects of Trinion Labs’ technology extend beyond the minimal environmental impact and low energy consumption. The core innovation is that this gas-based approach leaves no residues or toxic byproducts.
