How AI is Transforming SEO: The Future of Search Engine Optimization

Image commercially licensed from Unsplash

Over the years, SEO has evolved from a simple practice of keyword stuffing to a more complex, data-driven approach that takes into account various factors such as user behavior, content quality, and backlinks. And now, with the rise of AI, SEO is set to undergo yet another major transformation.

AI has already had a profound impact on various industries, and SEO is no exception. AI-powered algorithms are being used to analyze user behavior and search patterns, generate content, and even optimize websites for search engines. The future of AI and SEO is incredibly exciting. As AI technology continues to evolve, we can expect to see even more powerful tools and strategies for improving our SEO efforts.

The current state of SEO and how AI is impacting it

For the longest time, SEO has always been data-driven, with search engines like Google and Bing using complex algorithms to rank websites based on various factors. However, these algorithms are not perfect and can be manipulated by website owners and marketers through various tactics such as keyword stuffing and link building. This is where AI comes in.

AI-powered algorithms are able to analyze massive amounts of data and identify patterns and insights that humans may miss. This includes user behavior data, such as click-through rates, time spent on page, and bounce rates, which can be used to improve website content and structure. AI can also analyze search patterns to identify trending topics and keywords that can be used to optimize content.

According to Jesper Nissen, founder of YACSS, “AI has the potential to revolutionize the way we approach SEO. By analyzing user behavior and search patterns, we can create better content and optimize our websites to provide a more personalized experience for our audience.”

The role of AI in analyzing user behavior and search patterns

One of the most significant ways AI is transforming SEO is through the analysis of user behavior and search patterns. AI-powered algorithms can analyze massive amounts of data and identify patterns and insights that can be used to optimize website content and structure. For example, AI can analyze user behavior data, such as click-through rates, time spent on page, and bounce rates, to identify which pages and content are resonating with users and which are not.

AI can also analyze search patterns to identify trending topics and keywords. This can be especially useful for content creation and optimization. By analyzing search patterns, AI can help website owners and marketers identify what topics are popular and what type of content is being consumed by their target audience. This information can then be used to create better content and optimize websites for search engines.

As Sweetlana Portnaya, Managing Editor of Top10.com, explains, “AI allows us to analyze user behavior and search patterns in real-time, which means we can make data-driven decisions about our content and website structure. This has been a game-changer for us and has helped us improve our SEO efforts significantly.”

AI-powered content creation and optimization strategies

AI is also transforming the way we create and optimize content. AI-powered algorithms can generate content that is optimized for search engines and targeted towards specific audiences. This includes everything from product descriptions to blog posts and social media updates.

AI can also optimize existing content for search engines. For example, AI-powered algorithms can analyze existing content and identify opportunities for improvement, such as adding keywords, improving readability, and increasing engagement.

According to David Victor, CEO of Boomcycle Digital Marketing, “AI-powered content creation and optimization has helped us scale our content marketing efforts significantly. By using AI, we are able to create high-quality content at a faster rate and optimize it for search engines more effectively.”

AI-based keyword research and optimization techniques

Keyword research and optimization are fundamental to any SEO strategy. Traditionally, keyword research involves manually identifying keywords that are relevant to a website or business and using them strategically throughout the website. However, AI-based keyword research and optimization techniques can take this process to the next level.

AI-powered algorithms can analyze massive amounts of data to identify keywords and phrases that are trending or popular among users. This includes analyzing search patterns, social media conversations, and even customer reviews. AI can then use this information to suggest relevant keywords and phrases that can be used to optimize website content and improve search engine rankings.

As Loran Marmes, owner of Medicare Supplement Plans explains, “AI-based keyword research has helped us identify new opportunities to optimize our website and improve our rankings. By using AI to analyze data, we are able to identify keywords that we may have missed otherwise and use them strategically throughout our website.”

The impact of AI on voice search and local SEO

As voice search becomes more prevalent, AI is also set to have a significant impact on voice search optimization and local SEO. Voice search queries tend to be longer and more conversational than traditional text-based searches. This means that websites and businesses need to optimize their content and structure to answer these types of queries effectively.

AI can help with this by analyzing voice search queries and identifying patterns and insights. For example, AI can analyze the language and phrasing used in voice search queries and use this information to optimize website content for voice search. AI can also help businesses improve their local SEO efforts by analyzing local search patterns and identifying opportunities to improve local search rankings.

AI is helps website owners optimize their content and website structure for voice search and local SEO. By analyzing data and identifying patterns, they can create content that is better suited for voice search queries and improve their local search rankings.”

Future trends in AI and SEO

The future of AI and SEO is exciting and full of possibilities. As AI technology continues to advance, we can expect to see even more innovations in the field of SEO. Some of the future trends in AI and SEO that we can expect to see include: more advanced content generation and optimization tools; Increased use of AI in link building and backlink analysis; greater emphasis on personalization and user experience; and more sophisticated voice search optimization techniques.

As stated by Patrick Cohen, Marketing Director of Carcover “AI will continue to play an increasingly significant role in SEO. With the progress of AI technology, it is expected that we will see a more advanced algorithms that can examine complex sets of data, enhance search results that are customized to individual preferences, and elevate the user experience to an even greater extent.”

AI is transforming the way we approach SEO. From analyzing user behavior and search patterns to generating and optimizing content, AI-powered algorithms are helping businesses and website owners improve their search engine rankings and provide a better user experience. As AI technology continues to advance, we can expect to see even more powerful tools and strategies for improving our SEO efforts. By staying up-to-date on the latest trends in AI and SEO, businesses can stay ahead of the curve and continue to improve their search engine rankings and online presence.

Transcent Inc. and Sushitainable: Bridging the Gap Between Japan and the U.S. Market

Transcent Inc., a management company that introduces Japanese products and brands to the U.S. market, has been making waves since its founding in 2014. Much like the role of a brand agent, Transcent connects the American consumer with innovative and valuable Japanese products that they might need to be made aware of.

Although most people associate Japanese brands with sushi and ramen, Transcent aims to shed light on other aspects of Japanese culture and products that have permeated American lives. For instance, the concept of “Zen” in mindfulness and meditation has been adopted by influential figures such as Steve Jobs and Eric Schmidt. Furthermore, fermented foods like kombucha, now a leading health food in the U.S., have been consumed in Japan for over 1,300 years, making the country the world’s leading fermentation powerhouse.

Despite living in a digitalized society with borderless information, many facets of Japan still need to be discovered by U.S. consumers. Transcent addresses this gap by helping navigate valuable Japanese products to cater to the needs of the American market.

One of Transcent’s upcoming projects is “Sushitainable,” set to launch in 2024. This revolutionary project aims to be the world’s most sustainable sushi endeavor. Utilizing advanced Japanese refrigeration technology, Sushitainable delivers authentic sushi to American households while maintaining the quality and freshness of the product. This environmentally friendly approach ensures minimal food waste and efficiently tackles challenges associated with starting a food and beverage business, such as rent and human resources.

Transcent’s founder, Atsushi Otaki, has been successfully operating his marketing company for 30 years, showcasing his experience and dedication to the industry. Transcent’s growth since its establishment has been nothing short of impressive. With government project management commencing in 2016, showrooms opening in Los Angeles and New York in 2017 and 2019, respectively, and a general store in San Francisco “SF76” opening in 2021, the company’s expansion is set to continue. In 2023, a Los Angeles general store will open, and the Sushitainable project will begin.

As Transcent Inc. continues to bridge the gap between Japan and the U.S. market, it is anticipated that American consumers will be introduced to even more valuable and innovative Japanese products in the coming years. Sushitainable, as a sustainable sushi project, not only represents Transcent’s commitment to quality and authenticity and demonstrates the company’s dedication to environmental responsibility.

Rapid Growth through Excellent Customer Service: Laser Facility Management’s Founder Bryan Kelley Explains

Bryan Kelley, founder of Laser Facility Management, always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but he got into facility management by accident.

“For the longest time, I was not aware of the industry,” Kelley says. “In fact, I stumbled into it.” Raised by his mother and grandfather — who was a carpenter — he found himself helping with projects around the house. “I loved the varied work, and I loved a good challenge,” he adds. “What kid doesn’t want to play with power tools?”

Clearly, Kelley had found his calling. As an adult, he became the Operations Manager for a top-five Trek Bicycle dealer in Florida. Of his many responsibilities, he always enjoyed the challenge of building and maintaining new and existing locations. “That was when I realized I loved the facility management and construction industry,” he says.

Planning to move back to his home state of New York, Kelley applied for various roles within the facility management and construction industry. He was successful in securing a Facility Manager role with Michael Kors maintaining 350 stores on the national level. “That was my formal launch into the facility management industry,” he says.

Little did he know at the time that the seeds had already been planted for him to launch his own facility management company.

Founding Laser Facility Management

At Michael Kors, Kelley worked with numerous national vendors. “This was my first time working with them, and it was eye-opening,” he says. “I’ve always been a customer-service-focused individual, and the level of service was not meeting my standards. I respected the vendors for getting the job done, but I often asked for updates and when received, they would be fluff and often not answer my questions. There was a lack of authenticity and transparency.”

Still, Kelley didn’t foresee opening a facility management company. He had been staying in touch with his previous employer, who was an entrepreneur himself, catching up every four to six weeks on a personal level. “At one point, I said something to the effect of, ‘The opportunity in this business is huge. If we just took the customer service that you and I both live for and incorporated it into the facilities and construction world, we would be successful.’ I recall saying it in a joking manner.”

Kelley’s former employer and current co-founder knew a genuine opportunity when he heard it. “He said, ‘Let’s continue this conversation. Maybe we can do something.’”

Once the spark was lit, it couldn’t be extinguished. “From that point on, we talked about what we would do differently and how to execute those ideas,” Kelley says. “Through those brainstorming sessions, we came up with our name. The word ‘Laser’ comes from the idea that we give each client laser-focused attention.”

As a full-service facility management and construction company, Laser Facility Management provides an array of services including planned maintenance, restoration, project management, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pest control, commercial cleaning, painting, flooring, and handyman services.  In short, the company can do anything and everything to keep commercial spaces functional, efficient, beautiful, and safe.

The secret to Kelley’s success: authenticity and practicality

When Kelley talks about facility management, his passion shines through. “I love how we get to solve problems, often behind the scenes,” he says. “Most guests shopping, visiting their doctor, dining in their favorite restaurant, or visiting any business have no idea our organization is behind the scenes, helping keep that business open and providing a safe and pleasant experience. I get excited about assisting small trade businesses throughout our coverage area to grow their business and support national or even global names. I love the diverse groups of people and various cultures we interact with every day.  Giving back is important to me, and my preferred way is through people.”

While leading his team, Kelley emphasizes authenticity, humanity, and checking one’s ego at the door. “We are regular people who happen to specialize in Facility Management and Construction services,” he says. “We get down to business, show up like normal people, and treat others as if they were a close friend or family member.”

Toward that end, Kelley has built his business around a unique set of principles. “Anything and everything we do starts with our core values,” he explains. The first is “Delight All,” which he defines as not only delivering “extreme satisfaction” to clients, but also “taking care of our vendors in the field.”

When asked to explain the second value, “Execute with Excellence,” Kelley explains “sweat the small details, leave no stone unturned, take responsibility, listen, be responsive, and follow up in a timely manner.” This goes hand-in-hand with the business’s next value: “Deliver on What You Promise.” “Do what you say you’re going to do when you say you’re going to do it,” he asserts.

The fourth value, “Help Others Be Successful,” Kelley describes as “being a mentor for team members, setting others up for success, assisting clients with creating and implementing creative solutions to reduce spend and increase experience, leveraging expertise and connections to help vendor partners grow their business, and volunteering when you can.”

Finally, the business’s last value is “Show Appreciation and Be Kind.” “Take the time to say thank you,” he says. “It means the world to others.”

Incredible customer service generates incredible growth

With ethics and standards like these, it’s not hard to see how Kelley has created a positive ecosystem at Laser Facility Management for team members, clients, and partners alike. As a result, his enterprise has grown at an impressive rate.

At only five years old — an age that the majority of businesses don’t make it to — Laser Facility Management already operates in all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Guam, and continues to expand aggressively. Having successfully entered multiple verticals in such a short time, Kelley is excitedly looking forward to the grand milestone of his company’s fifth anniversary.

Ali Mirza and Rose Garden Challenge Businesses to Change Their Approach to Sales

Everyone will go around telling you their “secret to sales success,” but the truth is that most sales leaders don’t know what they are talking about. Even if they back their claims with data and statistics, chances are their strategies are ineffective because it fundamentally misunderstands the sales process. Rose Garden founder Ali Mirza offers a unique perspective on the sales process that promises to shatter the status quo.

Mirza has an impressive history in sales and consulting, having closed over $250 million in sales, personally working with several Inc 500 companies and growing startups. He had a stint as a CRO at a digital marketing agency, which he brought into the Inc 500 award list after increasing the company’s revenue from $2.5 million to $42 million. His experience and growth-oriented mindset are prime examples of what it means to be a legitimately great sales leader.

Mirza would later found Rose Garden, a sales consulting firm that specializes in helping businesses build a world-class sales team and accelerate their sales experience. As part of the “Sales Accelerator” program, clients working with Rose Garden can expect their process to be redefined into a “sales experience.” The result is guidance on how to build the right team, map the buyer experience, and — most importantly — close deals.

A different sales mindset

For Mirza and his team, success in sales is all about having the proper mindset. “Sales is an art first, then a science,” he asserts. Although this might seem vague and metaphorical, Mirza makes an invaluable point with this statement. Too often, salespeople get caught up in the data that they lose sight of what actually matters in the sales process: the people.

Mirza’s core philosophy is that a sales methodology is incomplete if it’s logic-based. Although logic can be used to make predictions on human behavior and purchasing patterns, they are just that: predictions. There is an inherent element of unpredictability to human behavior, and attempting to explain it using only logic is futile, as there are many other factors that must be considered when determining why an individual makes a certain decision.

The key takeaway Mirza always hopes to remind his clients is that people don’t make decisions based on logic — they use emotion and then justify it using logic. Most people don’t make purchasing decisions based on what makes the most sense, instead purchasing the things they want the most or will make them feel the best. It is only after they make the decision that logic comes into play — a tool to make them feel better about the money they just spent.

A behavioral approach to sales

Mirza and Rose Garden find that the best approach to sales is a combination of behavioral economics with their extensive sales expertise. Although Mirza’s years of experience in sales certainly helped him gain the knowledge he needs to successfully improve clients’ sales processes, he also credits his understanding of people and their behavior as equally important.

Rose Garden offers what Mirza calls a “turn-key solution” approach to sales. Their solution will drive continuous sales performance and revenue growth if clients are willing to follow their lead. Throughout their process, Rose Garden works to understand clients’ teams, diagnose problems, and present them with the solution (or solutions) that will help them repair their process.

Holding salespeople accountable

However, the most important aspect of Mirza’s methodology is accountability. “Accountability is essential when putting together and managing a sales team,” he asserts. “It is the greatest gift you can give someone. Highly trained salespeople are meaningless if they are not held accountable.” Mirza’s key to a high-performing sales team is holding salespeople accountable and ensuring they are hitting — or exceeding — their quotas all the time, every time.

Mirza says there are no valid excuses for missing quotas. At Rose Garden, the team focuses on transforming organizations by establishing accountability within the sales team. “Accountability is at the core of every team I build,” says Mirza. “Many sales leaders are full of excuses, and accountability is the tool necessary to keep them in check. It is simply unacceptable to constantly miss targets and make excuses about it. This is not good for your business and, more importantly, it’s not good for you as a leader.”

In their engagements, the Rose Garden team encourages sales leaders to make the most of their situation. “Circumstances are not the reason you can’t succeed; they are the reality in which you must succeed,” Mirza reminds his clients. “There is no reason that you can’t take your circumstances and turn them into success.”

According to Mirza, the reason so many businesses fail with their sales teams is that they approach the process the wrong way. Redefining the sales process and holding salespeople accountable is the key to success — both in improving the buyer experience and closing deals. The sales industry is ready to be disrupted, and change-makers like Mirza are leading the charge.

Denice Viktoria Staaf: Supply Chain Sustainability and Circular Economy as a Framework for Organizational Success

As sustainability and supply chain issues dominate headlines, businesses increasingly seek expert guidance to navigate these complex challenges. Globally, they cannot sustain their resource and energy consumption and continue polluting the environment, all while striving to increase profits yearly.

Companies want to be more sustainable overall, but need more knowledge. They can set targets to make small changes; the problem lies in creating a system that allows them to overcome roadblocks to produce monumental and exponential change, thus becoming iconic in their industry and sustaining increased profits.

Until recently, sustainability within an organization has been “nice to have.” But that landscape is rapidly changing as regulators and standard-setting bodies look to make environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting standardized and limit the artistic interpretation of many current sustainability reports. ESG targets — and an organization’s progress on them — would be subject to standardization but, more importantly, measurement, where they could be measured yearly against their target progress or other companies in their market sector. As standardization rolls into place region by region globally, organizations must adopt a framework as the foundation for their efforts to achieve success.

Denice Viktoria Staaf, known as the “Supply Chain Diva,” uses her consultation company Labeling Sustainability to create organizational sustainability and supply chain circularity with a focus on ESG issues. She helps companies approach sustainability with a growth mindset, tailoring her educational and consultation resources to meet each organization’s unique needs through a framework of tools they can use to create and track their progress. Her approach builds a foundation for practical and repeatable results measuring an organization’s sustainability targets across multiple quarters and years. The framework is customizable to give every organization the power to transform sustainably.

An educator, mentor, and coach

Denice is a trusted adviser to companies who desire to align sustainability with their company’s strategic objectives. She is passionate about sustainability and circular supply chains at a time when those champions are desperately needed. “The current method of managing sustainability has led to increased greenwashing — not on purpose, but due to the lack of existing guidance,” she explains.

Denice completed her master’s degree from Harvard University in Environmental Management and Sustainability and dedicated her career to helping organizations build sustainable and circular practices into their operations and supply chains through systematic tools that create repeatable results year after year. In addition, she believes deeply in assisting organizations that need help figuring out where to start their sustainability journey. “By putting together tools and processing that have been used with success globally, I was able to help companies strategize and create a functional sustainability program in their organization,” she explains.

As the Technical Committee Director for Supply Chain Sustainability and Circularity Initiatives for the VCare Academy, Canada, Denice leads the research and development activities in sustainable procurement, supply chain sustainability, and adopting circularity as a way forward for organizations to overcome the ever-evolving supply chain problems. She is creating the future of value chains within organizations to drive sustainability and profitability.

Developing a successful framework for organizational sustainability

Denice is a highly respected organizational sustainability and risk management authority. Her authoritative and well-researched book, “Organizational Sustainability and Risk Management: A Practical Step-by-Step Guide,” co-authored with Dr. Robert Pojasek, is a comprehensive resource that provides a detailed roadmap for organizations seeking to achieve their sustainability goals. The latest edition incorporates the rapidly changing standards and regulations globally in sustainability, including the critical role of circularity in organizational sustainability. This practical guide provides organizations with the tools and resources to drive results through sustainability efforts.

Sustainability within an organization is a process. Very few companies are innately sustainable; therefore, the greatest sustainability champions have learned and developed their techniques to produce results. Finding which processes are suitable for an organization can be a trial and error attempt or, with expert guidance, they can create success in half the time. Denice’s book cuts down the learning curve for creating sustainability in an organization.

“The term ‘organizational sustainability’ was created because sustainability in an organization is about the people, and it is the people that make sustainability happen,” says Denice. She collaborates directly with the thought leaders within an organization, from CEOs to the manufacturing and supply chain professions, coaching them on producing environmentally preferable products and services and robust supply chain practices.

Aiding businesses in staying agile and profitable

Denice uses tools and transparency declarations to educate stakeholders on an organization’s progress. In the modern age, stakeholders support and buy brands they connect with.

Communicating sustainability progress allows organizations to pivot their processes to save resources and waste and communicate their progress to customers. Staying competitive and profitable in an increasingly environmentally conscious business environment is possible with stakeholder communication.

When discussing competitive advantages for those choosing sustainability, Denice explains that “it will come from a group effort that includes senior management, the supply chain management, and the sustainable procurement team — in essence, this means the entire organization.” “The sustainability manager can only do small tasks themselves, but the team created by the tools outlined in the framework can move mountains in the world of sustainability.”

Denice Viktoria Staaf’s expertise is an indispensable resource for businesses prioritizing sustainability.
