Last week, Grammy-nominated Limp Bizkit’s frontman Fred Durst, guitarist Wes Borland, bassist Sam Rivers, turntablist DJ Lethal and drummer John Otto, hit Madison Square Garden here in town on their US “Still Sucks Tour”. And joining the band were some of the group’s family members (total “Dad Vibes”), including John Otto’s young daughter Ava Otto, who recently starred on the CBS series, Come Dance With Me.
The young model/dancer came into New York a couple days earlier than the big concert to enjoy the sights and scenes with her family. “We had an amazing time in New York! My parents have been there many times before, but it was my first trip there. I fell in love with the city! There’s so much to see and do,” Ava told us. Her dad John also told us that a return soon is on the horizon. “It was a quick trip. We’re definitely planning to go back as a family to see more of the historical landmarks, eat at the famous spots like Katz deli, see some shows and soak up the culture.”
As for playing on-stage at MSG for the first time in his long career, John couldn’t hold in his excitement stating, “I’ve dreamed of playing in Madison Square Garden! That’s one of those iconic bucket list venues for any entertainer. It was very inspiring to share that moment with my fans and family. Needless to say, Madison Square Garden was the most impressive place we visited on this trip. Walking the halls backstage was like a trip through history. There were photos of so many great entertainers I admire who have also played the historic venue. Sharing that with my band, Ava and my wife Cassandra was surreal.”
With MSG now behind the band, their tour continues more across the United States, and then into Europe later this year. And while the band is touring, Ava is out promoting her time on her recent CBS television dance competition series that she experienced alongside her famous dad John.
“My goals [now that the show is over] are to continue to train hard at my craft as an artist, work on more projects and spend more time enjoying life. The show wrapped almost a year ago. I’m grateful to say I’ve achieved many of my goals between then and now. I’ve been accepted into The Academy training program at The Space. I’ve worked with Krista Miller for many years. I love her teaching style and amazing technique. I’m so honored to be one of the select group of dancers accepted into Krista and Cory Miller’s brand new training program! In April, I filmed a jazz funk video choreographed by the fabulous Todd Flanagan for their Space TV platform. That was a blast! I assisted Todd and was the featured dancer in the video. Another dream of mine recently came true. I signed with Clear Talent Group in Los Angeles. I hope to work more and grow as an artist with their support. I also launched my non-profit Passion Project X. I hope to support and inspire other people pursuing their life’s passion. Our family works hard, but we also value family. I’m looking forward to traveling more and spending lots of quality time with my family and friends.”
And will John be dancing more in the future, he would only hint to us, “You never know… maybe if the stars align. [Come Dance With Me] was a great bonding experience for us. I’m on the road quite a bit and Ava is much busier than the average kid. Being able to spend months in Australia together was priceless.”
New York has played host to many famous faces and families, but it is always special to hear about a family creating new memories together no matter if they are famous or not, and inspiring these people as they take the next steps in their lives, like Ava Otto.
“Walking along Broadway was inspirational for me because I aspire to perform in musicals in the future. I’m excited to return to New York in June for a fun event at the Capezio flagship store. I’ve been a brand ambassador/model for famous ballerina Alison Stroming’s AS Dancewear line since 2020. Capezio is celebrating the launch of the AS Dancewear line in their store June 3rd with an awesome dance class taught by Alison. Many mentees like myself will be there to dance and meet supporters of the brand. We’re also shooting some of the new AS Dancewear pieces for the website and social media which is always fun!” finished off Ava Otto in our exclusive conversation.
We are excited for this family to return shortly, and hear more music from John and Limp Bizkit too!

Dr. Tyler Hales, a.k.a. The Bowtie Dentist, knows a thing or two about the importance of looking and feeling your best. Dr. Hales learned from an early age the importance of developing self-confidence. Growing up his grandpa taught him, “If you want to be the best, you need to look your best.” Wearing a bowtie each day empowers Dr. Hales to show up with confidence as a dentist and an artist. “My bowtie has become a symbol of my pride and love for what I do,” Dr. Hales explains, “I design smiles to help my patients boost their outer confidence and make them look as amazing as possible. When my patients look and feel their best, their smile is a reflection of how amazing they are.” He believes that total self-confidence can be achieved when one’s outer appearance matches how one feels within.
Dr. Hales and his bowtie getup is not the only thing capturing the attention of patients and celebrities alike. Dr. Hales specializes in smile makeovers and veneers. What’s incredible about his process is unlike other cosmetic dentists, he offers a “Smile Test Drive.” Patients interested in veneers, but nervous about taking the leap, get the opportunity to see how veneers would look without any physical or financial commitment. This “ Smile Test Drive” allows patients to see how veneers could improve the shape, size, color, and symmetry of their smiles. Anyone who has experienced the test drive knows it is almost as impressive as the real veneers, making it exciting for his patients to see the potential of their smile. Patients develop trust in Dr. Hales and leave with a clear vision of what is possible with veneers.
Besides his famous “Smile Test Drive” procedure, Dr. Hales also offers “Smile Virtual” consultations where his patients reach out directly to him with their questions and concerns. They submit their photos, discuss what they would change about their smile, and ask questions about the veneer process and costs associated with the procedure. Dr. Hales creates a personalized video addressing their smile goals. This enables the patient to approach any procedure with open communication and clear expectations before they even step foot in the dental office.
Dr. Tyler Hales and his practice, Hales Parker Dentistry, is at the forefront of cosmetic and comprehensive dentistry in South Orange County, California, and one of the best in the country. For Dr. Hales, cosmetic dentistry takes expertise, artistry, an eye for detail, and a skilled team. This is what sets Dr. Hales apart from the rest. Lady Ease founder, Sheila Adel, created healthy, nourishing feminine skincare products to combat the vaginal dryness that most women experience due to hormonal changes. Manufactured in the the United States, non-irritating, made from organic ingredients that are safe to use daily, they are made for women by a woman
As mature women, we are accustomed to fashion, advertisements, and magazine articles targeting a much younger audience. Speaking to the 50-and-over crowd – this one’s for you, sisters. Many of us could have benefited from having this information when we were thirty or forty-something, but no one in the over-fifty crowd can afford to pass on this news.
At an age when we don’t even blink at the idea of stocking up on all kinds of creams, lotions, and potions, many of us have never experienced high-quality vaginal moisturizers. To be honest, most of us have been neglecting our lady parts. A few small tweaks to our daily total body skincare regimen can make a world of difference in our comfort and well-being.
A large percentage of women over 50 suffer from vaginal dryness, irrespective of sexual activity. There is a physiological explanation – as menopause approaches, women experience a reduction in estrogen, which affects the skin covering the body. It begins to lose its elasticity, becoming thin and dry. Especially the vaginal area can be easily irritated – as if we need one more thing to diminish our comfort and rattle our confidence level!
While vaginal dryness is most common in menopause or post-menopause, it may naturally occur in women of all ages at different times in our lives, such as during normal period cycles, after childbirth, vaginal rejuvenation, cancer treatments, surgery of reproductive organs, and after shaving or laser hair removal. Women who swim and enjoy frequent baths may also experience vaginal dryness that can be remedied by using vaginal moisturizers.
Do you know how Oprah shares lists of her favorite things? I am sharing one special favorite: Lady Ease, an organic product line that includes three vaginal moisturizers created with the highest-quality ingredients, without additives. Even more than being entirely safe for women to use daily, they are nourishing skincare solutions that combat dryness and provide women comfort with peace of mind. Now that’s beautiful!
Lady Ease products have been researched, developed, tested, and carefully designed with utmost care and high standards. Lady Ease VM Oil, VM Cream, and VM Serum are soothing, loaded with natural ingredients, sustainably sourced, and free of hormones, paraben, fragrance, preservatives, and chemicals.
The oil, cream, and serum vary in the way they feel and in their effect on the skin. The gentle VM Oil goes on light to plump and comfort, the emollient VM Cream protects and nourishes, while the VM Serum has a light, silky feel to calm and soothe. Depending on the day’s activities, a woman can choose to apply one or combine the products to achieve the comfort and ease for a just-right feel. An example of combining the products – since the Lady Ease VM Serum is lightweight, apply this first to give the skin more opportunity to absorb the nourishing ingredients. Then apply the VM Cream. The VM Serum coupled with the VM Cream will multiply the effects of the moisturizer and seal in the hydration of the VM Cream.
Women who use prescription vaginal hormone cream have safely included Lady Ease products in their daily vaginal skin care regime by alternating days or times of day, perhaps applying Lady Ease in the morning and applying the prescription cream at night. With daily use, the Lady Ease products ultra moisturize and naturally nourish the vaginal skin. Keeping it hydrated with Lady Ease VM products may reduce the amount of hormone cream needed. This would be a benefit for women who are concerned about the side effects of using hormonal vaginal creams. Most importantly, Lady Ease always recommends that women follow their doctor’s advice when using prescription vaginal creams.
Vaginal dryness makes sex painful for many women. With daily use of the ultra hydrating, nutrient-rich, nourishing Lady Ease products, women can stay ahead of vaginal dryness and have more comfort during sexual intimacy. Sexually active women will appreciate how Lady Ease VM Cream can be used with VM Oil to make sex more comfortable. What works well is a two-step approach. First, apply Lady Ease VM Cream to the vaginal area, inside and out, to protect and moisturize the vaginal tissue. Second, apply a layer of VM Oil on top of the VM Cream layer. The VM Cream will protect and the VM Oil will plump, allowing for glide, comfort and pleasure during sexual intimacy. Many of us are far too young to shut the door on sex, yet the discomfort caused by vaginal dryness is often a deal-breaker. If this is true for you, reach out to Lady Ease.
I had the opportunity to question Lady Ease’s founder, Sheila Adel, about the “why” of some of her choices related to her products.
Is it rare to find products made with the same care and attention to detail you invested in Lady Ease? “The research and development that went into the Lady Ease products, concluded that the secret to vaginal skincare lies in a few skillfully crafted products that ultra-moisturize without irritating the skin. Our luxurious blends are made from only the highest quality, cold-pressed, pure organic oils and butters that are naturally rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids. Organic, sustainably sourced and free of harmful ingredients, Lady Ease products provide comfort with peace of mind.”
Which ingredients found in competitive products were so concerning that you were conscientious about avoiding them? “Fragrance. It is often found in products, and it is irritating. Even some natural brands have essential oils in them, which are often potent and irritating to the delicate vaginal skin. I avoid all preservatives and emulsifiers used in blending and mixing products, opting for raw material with nothing added. Vaginal tissue absorbs well, and the ingredients in vaginal moisturizers are absorbed into the bloodstream. I was determined to create products with ingredients that are safe for long-term daily use without harmful side effects.”
Regarding your 30-day money-back guarantee for gently used products – how seamlessly is that process working? “I will absolutely ensure that all of our Lady Ease customers are 100% satisfied. But we are proud to say that we haven’t had any returns!”
Regarding specifics, how much and where should the product be applied? “Depending on need, the products are completely safe to use vaginally, both internally and externally, as many times each day as needed for comfort.
Where is Lady Ease manufactured? “All of the ingredients for the products are purchased in the United States. Even my containers and packaging are purchased domestically. The only imported items are the high quality Italian glass bottles, which are of superior quality and not available in the U.S. Manufacturing takes place in Ridgefield, Washington. I own the manufacturing equipment used to process the products and am directly involved in the management of quality control.”
What do your customers have to say about the products? “One of my customers, Sue, age 66, shares: ‘I have three Lady Ease products, the serum, the oil and the cream. I love the way all the products feel on my skin. The serum is wonderfully rich and immediately changes the surface of my skin to soft, smooth and silky. It revitalizes the elasticity! The oil replenishes moisture and eliminates dryness. It is perfect to apply after a warm bath or shower. The cream is lighter, non greasy and moisturizes on contact. It is great to apply in the morning and in the evening. I am an older mature woman who has found these all natural, non-irritating, hormone free products a life changer! These products are now an essential part of my personal feminine skincare regimen. Lady Ease serum, oil and cream have made intimacy an absolute pleasure without any pain, dryness or irritation! I highly recommend all three of these products to anyone who has experienced dryness, irritation or just wants to moisturize and take care of their intimate feminine inner sanctum!”
Lady Ease is the perfect gift for yourself or another extraordinary woman who deserves to be treated with luxury. Lady Ease offers free priority shipping via USPS everywhere in the domestic United States. The products can be purchased individually or as a set.

Global phenomenon Korie Minkus recently collaborated with two powerhouse women to pen their latest book BE…, which will be released June 28, 2022. We chatted with Minkus about her impact as an executive thought leader in the consumer products industry for 30+ years, and today, as a relied-on product growth expert, leading business advisor and coach.
“The most important investment that any human being can do is collaborate,” says Korie Minkus, co-author of BE…: From Passion and Purpose to Product and Prosperity. A deeply passionate change maker in her own right, Minkus collaborated with two other powerhouse women to write the book, which is scheduled for release June 28, 2022. A shared vision uniquely co-authored by three accomplished women, BE… is a labor of love from their combined decades of professional experiences and entrepreneurial journeys.
Delivered as a tell-all, BE… weaves together holistic principles of self-discovery, guides self-development with proven business philosophies and product-to-market systems.
After meeting her fellow author – award-winning TV producer and #1 best-selling author Lisa Vrancken, at one of Minkus’s business training events in 2020, they decided to work together on the book. They chose to funnel their decades of experience with a focus on female entrepreneurs, launching and scaling product-based businesses.
While writing, the pair reached out to best-selling author Ashley Black for advice. Black joined Korie and Lisa immediately in the writing process and they secured a publishing deal, and the rest, as they say, is her-story.
The authors, featured on The Today Show, CNBC’s The Profit, Extra, Forbes, and more, have generated billions in revenue, launched hundreds of products, and scaled well-recognized brands while expertly navigating the competitive marketplace. Minkus adds, “We came together to write a book in support of female entrepreneurship, which has increased by 114% over the past 20 years. We want to honor the 252 million game-changing women globally, creating innovation, taking risks, and inspiring leadership. We acknowledge there have been many male thought-leaders over time that have shaped our view, and now, we believe it’s the time to give female business owners a book about them, written by women for women business owners. Collectively we designed this book to shed light on a healthy expanded mindset, a fresh approach to self-development, and define how women naturally embody the qualities to unleash their most desired life as female business owners. We wrote this book to give female entrepreneurs the permission to speak truth and achieve their life by design.”
In addition to writing what is set to be a significant addition to the world of women’s empowerment literature, Minkus is the CEO and founder of Rock Your Product®, the number one global product business advisory and growth training company. Korie leads her practice with a heart-centered approach and works with product business owners in strategic growth management, the sequence of events to expand market share, and to deliver on measurable results. She is an international speaker in thirty-two countries on consumer psychology, brand leadership, and the methods for collaboration success. As a relied-on brand expert, Korie has worked with Fortune 500 companies, trained over one hundred thousand business owners, and consulted thousands of private clients and entrepreneurs globally. She has launched and scaled over a hundred products, generating $1-billion in revenue.
Mindset And Overcoming Fear
Minkus has a three-step process to help her clients unlock the answers for themselves and shift into a headspace that can create a more robust outcome than what they initially thought possible.
To start, she focuses on information – getting to the facts and business acumen around a situation allows a logical starting point. “I begin by accessing and providing experienced business sense and understanding to help ease my clients, especially when they are overwhelmed or experiencing fear. The first step is to break a seemingly complex matter by applying the saviness and facts, based on real-life experiences, to help them understand where they are at in the process and how to get the results they desire,” she says. This way, explains Minkus, “people objectively quantify and apply a logical thought process, stepping away from what may be an initial emotional response to a problem. I like to say we get academic and solution seeking first; then we can make ways to manage our feelings with productivity.”
Secondly, she gives her clients the tools, knowledge, and skills to create a pathway to get to the outcome they want to achieve. This includes the knowledge, business experience, sequence of events, and the steps in the process they will need to achieve success.
After leading her clients through these two steps, Minkus then focuses on behavior, which is linked into passion, purpose and the company’s ethos. “We talk about the behavior around what they are feeling and how it aligns with their mission,” she explains. “We want to shift that feeling to create a more robust outcome—because feeling overwhelmed is stopping them from executing, at the highest level, on what they need to do.” This third piece helps her clients understand how to identify their limiting beliefs and shift their mindset from a feeling of panic, uncertainty, distrust, or disbelief to a place of understanding, calm, and then, “…logic is applied,” she adds. “This process allows my clients to create real sustainable change, achieving desired outcomes, and positive financial growth for their businesses.” Korie believes business is personal and your life runs seamlessly parallel with your business. She encourages her clients to lean into their strengths while leveraging their mindset, to be authentically aligned with their company values. “You have to get uncomfortable to be unstoppable,” she states defiantly.
Pursuing Your Purpose
Minkus believes that when you live life with purpose, you create higher vibrations and extraordinary energy around you. The laws of energetic attraction are about likes attracting likes, and the energy you project comes back to you. The idea is that people and their thoughts are made from pure energy and when positive experiences are formed in the mind, they can attract positive outcomes. She asserts that living a purposeful life…” is not about picking a purpose and pursuing that purpose,” she asserts. “It’s establishing how you live your life with more purpose and the positive vibes, cognitive reframing, and thoughts that surround yourself.” To create a more purposeful outcome for life, Minkus says that we need to be asking: “Where do I want to focus my attention, to live a more purposeful life?”
In the book, the authors offer a movement called the ‘Six Bowls of High-Vibrational Living,’ designed to help you examine the gaps between your current focus and that which will serve your desired outcomes more. This examines the ideal present and designs future achievements into reality. This movement also enables you to see where you can recharge and channel energy to live a more purposeful life.
In this exercise, you use six bowls and thirty-two small objects representing two days’ worth of waking hours. This represents six aspects of your life where you desire to examine your focus. This can include family, friends, spirituality, personal development, health/wellness, and business – you get to pick.
Another suggestion is to consider the six bowls to represent a high vibrational life into six areas: Inner Light, Outer Light, Whole-istic, Social Time, Bread-and-Butter, and Passion Project. Minkus suggests that once you select what each bowl represents, you reflect and ask, “Where do I want to invest more of my time? Where do I get more energy from? How do I want to spend my hours, days, and life?” How do I create higher vibrational living and get more out of each of these areas in my life?” The book explains more about the power of this movement. The outcome is to bring awareness first, to then shift into a healthier, practical way todiscover your purpose and activate intentional living.
The Power Of Action
“Ideas are worthless; execution is everything,” says Minkus. “If you don’t do it, you don’t achieve outcomes or get results.” While vision boards are an essential movement discussed in the book, Minkus cautions that you can have as many vision boards as you like, but they are meaningless without action. “To achieve success, you have to be purposefully dynamic and actuate your playbook.”
“One of the realities of business or life is that you can’t just think about it, watch it, read it, or listen,” she says. “Your thoughts have to be actionable. And when you do take the initiative, you create more outcomes. I believe deeply in the wisdom of lived experiences.”
In her book BE…, Minkus and her fellow authors call on women to live a life of action. The book is a journey of personal transformation, ascension, and self-development from the perspective of entrepreneurship at its greatest. “I hope that people will feel like they’re entering a new space, a new realm, a new room. I believe this will allow them to recognize that they can get off their island and experience a richness in their own outcomes. The book will allow discovery and a fresh look at business, entrepreneurship, leadership, and self creation with a more optimized outcome and achieved success—however you define that for yourself.”
BE… is a timeous book that you can re-read yearly, that will allow you to reflect on your journey and pursue a life of purpose and action personally and professionally. It hits bookstores June 28, 2022.

Jay Jung first realized that investment banking was ripe for disruption several years ago. Jung, then employed at Goldman Sachs, had just completed advising on a “straight down the fairway” acquisition of a mid-sized software company. The advisory fees totaled $46 million. Yet, just two years earlier, he had worked on Verizon’s acquisition of web portal Yahoo!, a deal that had taken months, and involved many buyers and complex issues. The fee in that case had come to just $15 million, split among three top-tier banks.
Jung was baffled, but he also saw an opportunity for disruption. Boutique advisory Embarc Advisors was born soon after.
“Not all M&A deals are created equal,” Jung observes. “Some deals are more difficult than others, and some are more certain than others. Although, most investment banks will charge a straight percentage of the deal regardless.” He devised a different framework for Embarc. First of all, the two primary metrics would be company quality and business complexity. Second, fees would be based on work performed, not deal value. Finally, Jung decided to focus on the middle-market.
The “bread and butter” of Embarc’s business are relatively straightforward tech and industrial plays. “We end up doing a lot of work with companies of great quality that are plain and simple,” Jung says. Clients have included regular-way business services, IT Managed Service Providers, Business Services, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and e-Commerce / Consumer-Retail companies. It’s a diverse list, but what they share is a need for narrative. “There’s a lot of preparation involved because you need to tell a story that differentiates the company from the fray,” Jung says. “But with our deals, there is also a very high conviction that a deal will get done as long as the seller is motivated.”
Large investment banks and advisories do plenty of legwork too, of course. Embarc’s major differentiation is its fee structure. A typical lower middle-market investment bank will charge 3-6% to advise on a deal, even if the company is scaled and its business easily grasped by potential buyers. Jung’s question to potential clients is, why give up hundreds of thousands — or even millions — for advice on such a transaction?
Pre-Internet, the answer was simple: the bank knew how to identify buyers. “Think about selling an apartment before Zillow,” Jung says. “Brokers were the intermediary; they knew who was selling, so they could leverage their network to match up sellers with buyers and charge a outsized fee for their service. The old world of investment banking was the same. Investment bankers had relationships with corporate and private equity buyers of businesses, so when shareholders or owners wanted to sell a business, they would have to hire an investment banker. That investment banker would then liaise with other investment bankers to identify would-be acquirers. Colloquially, it was the old boys’ network.”
Now, Jung says, anyone can find potential acquirers on the Internet. It may not be as easy as going on Zillow and posting a property, but the access to information is starting to get democratized. Through various industry databases, an experienced deal professional can identify a broad pool of potential buyers without relying on an exclusive rolodex. As the digital platform democratizes access, the value creation point moves to other parts of the deal process. According to Jung, “The key is positioning the company to achieve the optimal mix of value, certainty of close and speed to close.”
Embarc’s proposition is simple: find well-run businesses in well-known industries, where there is a high probability of sale and little incentive for a seller to pay an outsized fee contingent on “success.” The 3-6% fee ends up transferring about 5% of the seller’s equity to an intermediary. Oftentimes, this intermediary is one who arrived at the last inning of what has, for many business owners and shareholders, been a very long journey. “If you knew you were going to sell in six months, or even 12 months, after building the business for 10+ years, would you give someone 5% equity?” Jung asks rhetorically.
Embarc, he says, is turning the investment banking model on its head. The firm’s fee is not contingent on a sale, but it is typically far less than a deal-based fee. He and his principals bill hourly so that the amount his clients pay is proportionate to the amount of work done. It’s a win for Embarc, too, Jung points out, because his team is able to make much more efficient use of their time. They do not, for example, go on “fishing expeditions” for clients who may or may not really want to sell. Embarc only works with solid businesses that have a clear intent to sell, as well as a good track record and performance.
Embarc also advises on negotiated deals where the buyer and seller are already identified. In those cases, Jung and his team will perform deal analysis, due diligence, and handle negotiations — mainly overcoming deal obstacles and finding ways to clear negotiation points. And because there is usually a high probability that the deal will get done in these situations, both buyers and sellers are better off paying a modest fee, even with the small risk that they may be out of pocket should the deal fall through. Indeed, the smaller fee itself may be an incentive to get to closing. Jung estimates that even if only one out of four deals go through, buyers would still be better off.
Perhaps the most disruptive aspect of Embarc’s model, however, is its elimination of deal bias. An advisor who is solely compensated on the deal getting done has a bias towards consummating, whether the best deal possible or not. Because the traditional investment banking model is a numbers game, Jung says, most advisors must continue to chase multiple prospects even as they are advising on existing deals. The economics is simple; in the later innings of a deal, the expected value of the next big deal fee is much higher than any price improvement on the existing one. For instance, a 5% fee on a $1M increase in deal value is only $50k, whereas a new deal might fetch a fresh $1 million, or more. In other words, the percentage fee model provides little incentive to optimize each deal.
“Some clients have asked us, since Embarc’s fees are not tied to success, do we have any incentive to close deals?” Jung mentions. “Well, if we did not close deals, there would be no reason to exist, and we would not be able to hire and retain the top-tier employees that we have worked so hard to recruit.” He adds that for every successful deal Embarc executes, the firm has attracted at least one or two new deals through word of mouth and referrals. This has allowed the firm to triple the size of its team, and grow revenues by a factor of four in the past year.
Still, Embarc poses little threat to the banking industry, for now. “The bulge bracket investment banking world will remain the same for a long time,”Jung says. “There are broader intricacies involved with large corporations, especially public companies whose boards have to deal with fiduciary duties and covenants.” At the same time, he says, the traditional investment banking model disincentivizes the best bankers to work on smaller deals. Smaller deals have smaller fees, after all, but not necessarily fewer headaches or work.
Small, “plain vanilla” deals are Embarc’s sweet spot. “I love working with entrepreneurs and smaller businesses,” Jung says. “That’s my family’s history and part of the ethos of Embarc Advisors. To make it work, we had to change the rules of the game — we had to disrupt our corner of the industry.”
Embarc may not be Goldman Sachs, but it has gained a loyal, and somewhat smitten, clientele. The other day, one of Jung’s clients called him the “Jerry McGuire of finance.” He simply smiled, knowing that he could not have asked for more of a compliment.
Currently in the USA, the founder of Medicinal Technologies scientist Dr. Sheryene Tejeda MD, PhD, MHS, MFS discovers an unprecedented cure for Endometriosis. Following years of research and clinical trials, this noteworthy doctor has made medical history with a revolutionary medical breakthrough. Valued at over $5 Billion dollars, the protocol is already being pursued for purchase by several of the largest pharmaceutical companies worldwide. Endogen, not having yet been made available for purchase due to the influx of potential buyers and manufacturing policies, is a biomedical protocol for Endometriosis that’s said to have few to no side effects and does not require a prescription. It will initially be offered in the US but ultimately can be purchased worldwide. This protocol will change the lives of many globally as according to statistics over 250 million women are diagnosed with Endometriosis, and millions more remain undiagnosed. Until now there has been no viable remedy for the condition, causing women to seek relief through hormonal suppression, surgery and pain medications, all of which are temporary methods of addressing its symptoms. The 3 part protocol Endogen, however, was developed as a multi-faceted approach for reversing the root cause of the disease. Additionally, during further clinical trials it has shown promising results for the dissemination of cysts, fibroids, and other relative conditions.
Endometriosis is characterized by the presence and growth of endometrial tissues outside of the uterine cavity. This disease that affects women of reproductive age involves a hormone-dependent inflammatory process that can occur during pre or post ovulation and heightened during a woman’s menstrual cycle. Women experience varying levels of pain which can at times be debilitating. Ultimately the disease often results in loss of fertility, pelvic and other complications as the endometrial lesions spread to other organs. Endometriosis is progressive in nature and is staged by a medical professional.Though its source of development has until now been unclear, the past 30 years of diagnostic records shows a global prevalence estimate of 71%. Prevalence rates differ with respect to the symptoms and stages, but the disease overall is affected by the wellbeing of the woman.
Dr. Tejeda’s proposed mechanism of action for the development of Endometriosis has gained scientific and academic acclaim (∑(σX GnRH ⇒ JEG3f )+ (σα ^βER ) ∴ NR3A1 ≥ 300-437pg/ml e (τ +30dy)∆ δEEC) and expresses how the developmental process of Endometriosis involves the primary deviation in the GnRH gene, which is responsible for the production of gonadotropin-releasing hormone, an important regulator of the female reproductive system. This scientific equation is anticipated to change the course of biomedical history as it offers a never before observed correspondence between a monogenetic gene mutation and the development of Endometriosis.
Prior to the research findings of Dr. Tejeda, it was unknown if Endometriosis was a condition, disorder, disease, or had genetic factors. Thanks to successfully conducting clinical trials and research, Dr. Tejeda asserts “we now know it is in fact a disease with epi genetic biomarkers”. Although new to the industry, Medicinal Technologies is a forerunner for innovative biomedicine and biotechnology, holding several patents for protocols and devices. Its founder Dr. Tejeda, not limited to reproductive endocrinology related conditions, continues research on both common and rare diseases and disorders with the goal of offering answers and solutions.
