Kelly Hyman is a legal analyst and former actress who was born in Miami Beach, Florida and was raised in New York City and Southern California by her single mother. Kelly earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from UCLA and spent her college days interning at the White House’s Office of Presidential Inquiries. She received a degree in law from the University of Florida College of Law with honors. Kelly was dubbed “a modern-day Erin Brockovich” by Forbes.

New York City: A City that Never Sleeps!

When asked about what Kelly likes about New York, she said, “It’s the city that never sleeps and it will always have a special place in her heart”.

Kelly grew up mostly in New York City and the Los Angeles area, where she met a lot of people in the film and entertainment industry, and that was how she got her first acting job when she was only five years old, which helped her in supporting her mother financially.

She began booking a lot of modeling jobs and print commercials on the East Coast. She also performed a modeling assignment for Spaulding when she was eight years old. Following that, she received dozens of modeling assignments, and various publications, including Forbes, began referring to her as a Modern-day Erin Brockovich.

Message from her to all new actors: “Imagination, according to Albert Einstein, is more important than knowledge. Pretending is what acting is all about. Follow your dreams and believe in yourself.”

 

The leap from Acting to being in the Law Space!

Kelly is a third-generation lawyer who was inspired to pursue a career in law. Her grandmother, who attended St. John’s University in New York. She is currently working as a television legal analyst and attorney. Her acting career was stimulated by a solid feeling of responsibility, and it continues to be the steering factor in her life in terms of her legal profession. While transitioning from acting to law, she believes it is because of her acting background helps her appear on camera to discuss difficult subjects as a legal analyst on television.

Kelly is known in the legal community for her class action and mass tort work. Her incredible work focuses on seeking justice for victims of dangerous medications and medical devices.

When asked how she handled the move from acting to legal space, she answered, “Pursue your dreams. You can achieve anything if you have your mindset on it. For years, I have sought to have a beneficial impact on the lives of others. I came to the realization that I wanted to go to law school so I could help people more effectively. My acting career had reached a point where I felt it was time for a change.”

Kelly is the former President of the Palm Beach Chapter of the Federal Bar and has also served on the board of the Palm Beach chapter of Dress for Success. Kelly Hyman, a Lifelong Democrat, volunteered for President Barack Obama. She also volunteered as a poll watcher for the Democratic Party during the presidential election to preserve voting rights. She strongly believes that peaceful demonstrating and voting are crucial ways to make your voice known.

Kelly Hyman is a legal commentator who has appeared on various shows including Law & Crime, CourtTV, ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox News.

Kelly has appeared in a number of print advertisements and commercials, and she also works as a voice actor, and her voice can be heard in numerous ads, including the Kit Kat “Give me a Break” campaign.

Inside her acting profession, Kelly Hyman’s performance as Loretta in the soap opera “The Young and the Restless”. She also portrayed Norman Fell’s daughter in Gettin’ There. Kelly has also collaborated with Off-Broadway productions, which happens to be one of the biggest production houses in New York City. She co-starred with Adam West from Batman in the film Doin’ Time on Planet Earth as Donna.
