Kuzzat Altay Demonstrating The Strength of Human Will

“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”

– Arnold Schwarzenegger

The human will is one’s ability to actively decide what to do instead of instantly reacting to various stimuli. Even though humans tend to act impulsively, without reflection, they can pick different courses of action to choose the right action. It is rational deliberation that helps people practice their will. Willpower is considered the strength of human will because there is little that humans can achieve without willpower. Kuzzat Altay, born in August 1984, is the founder of Cydeo and has come out strong despite the many challenges and difficulties he has faced. Furthermore, he has a US nationality

Altay demonstrates the strength of the human will. Having studied from Urumqi 14th High School, Harvard Business School GMP Program, he is now the CEO of Cydeo and a Human Rights Advocate. Altay found Cydeo in July, 2015. Willpower is the greatest human strength. Despite being a limited resource, one that undergoes depletion, humans have the chance to strengthen their willpower and self-control by changing their mindset and by practicing. Willpower helps people function in their daily life. Modern humans face many problems each day that require willpower to conquer and defeat them. Altay has been able to come out strong in his life because he has always possessed great willpower and has been able to practice it as well fully.

Altay has experienced the loss of one parent, and this kind of loss cannot be compared to any other loss in life. Ordinary individuals are likely to give up on their lives after experiencing such a loss. Still, Altay has demonstrated how one can become stronger even after facing such a loss. The thing worth noting about Altay is that he didn’t let the loss of his parent define who he eventually became. Instead of allowing the circumstances of his life to define him, he left China when he was only 21 years old, in the year 2005, and settled himself in Turkey. Altay’s actions demonstrate how the only way to move forward in life is by persevering and practicing the strength of the human will.

After spending three years in Turkey before he moved to Fairfax in Virginia as a refugee, Altay persevered despite being in a sorrowful situation is something extraordinary about him. But what made him stand out was how he wished to do something better for people of his ethnicity. Not only did Altay work hard to live in the States, but he also made use of his IT knowledge to look for more significant opportunities. He worked at some of the top-10 IT consulting firms such as Accenture, GGI, etc., and even gained experience in working on projects such as HealthCare.gov. Furthermore, Altay is also a graduate of Harvard Business School in the General Management Program (GMP).

From Altay’s successes, one can see how he did not let the circumstances of his life define what he eventually became. Apart from the loss he experienced, the Chinese government was not kind towards Altay either because it targeted Altay for his ethnicity. This was probably the most crucial setback that he experienced in his life. Furthermore, the expansion of concentration camps proved detrimental because the Chinese government had started suppressing the Uyghur Muslim minority in Xinjiang. The most devastating experience was probably when Altay’s 67-year-old father lived in the Xinjiang camps with around 1.5 million people. The incident led to Altay’s father experiencing a broken leg in 2020, something he had to live with his entire life.

As seen from what Altay has experienced, he did not let problems in his life define what he became. The CEO of Cydeo created ‘Uyghur Entrepreneurs Network’ in 2018 to develop Capital and Human Resources to empower Uyghur Cause, a task that comprised numerous problems. However, nothing stopped Altay from doing good for people. He was able to move forward constantly because he possessed great will and practiced great strength. The experiences in Altay’s life honed and shaped him. He kept acquiring one success after the other and eventually became the CEO of Cydeo . Most importantly, Altay’s efforts to bring change in the world are proof of his willpower and strength.

There is much that one can learn from Altay’s life story. He must have possessed strong will and strength because it would have been impossible for him to conquer all the battles that life threw at him without these two. The human will and strength are both interconnected. Without a strong will, one cannot imagine being strong. One’s will makes one strong and capable of dealing with all of life’s challenges.
