Exclusive Interview: Tim Clark

In just 24 months – mere moments in the cutthroat world known as the music business – the financial titan, Timothy Clark, has made incredible headway in his latest chosen profession, that of a professional DJ and music producer. The biggest live-touring achievement in Clark’s nascent DJing career is being asked to join the legendary Markus Schulz on his “The Rabbit Hole Circus” Tour.

New York Weekly: How did you become involved in The Rabbit Hole Circus Tour?

Tim Clark: I’ve followed Markus Schulz’s career for a long time and I’ve been a fan of his music for years. Flash-forward to the current day, and Markus Schulz and I both happen to have the same management. So, I sent Markus a demo, one thing led to another, and now here we are. I’m thrilled!

New York Weekly: We’ve seen a lot of footage on social media from the 4th of July weekend Rabbit Hole Circus show at E11EVEN Miami nightclub. It looked like a mini music festival with all the production and circus performances! What other dates will you be joining on this tour as it continues to roll-out?

Tim Clark: Well, the decision will be up to Markus Schulz to make, as ultimately it’s his show and tour. But based on what people were telling me when I got off-stage at the E11EVEN Miami show, it seemed like I did quite well, which is great because I was having a blast up there. Hopefully, I can play all the dates!

New York Weekly: What can music-lovers expect from your performance at the upcoming ‘The Rabbit Hole Circus’ show at Musica NYC on July 29th?

Tim Clark: I’m really excited about the New York show. I’ll be playing 15 or 16 tracks with four of them being originals and a few Markus Schulz originals.

New York Weekly: Is this your first time DJ’ing a big show in New York? Where else have you performed as a DJ?

Tim Clark: I’ve played at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas, at the EDM Awards (EDMA) at The Fontainebleau in Miami…I’ve also played throughout California and of course, Las Vegas, which is my home town. This is my first time playing in New York City, so I’m very excited.

New York Weekly: Some final thoughts before you walk onstage in New York?

Tim Clark: I’m grateful for being able to showcase my skills alongside such a superstar such as Markus Schulz. It’s really my honor.

Amidst the colorful lights and resonant beats, Timothy Clark stands tall, a beacon of ambition and resolve in the often-chaotic world of electronic dance music. The transition from the financial sphere to the DJ decks might seem drastic to most, but for Clark, it’s just another challenge to be surmounted with finesse and ardor.

Despite his newness to the music scene, the depth of his passion rings loud in each pulsating track, each magnetic set he performs. His sets exude a thrilling blend of familiar Schulz anthems and tantalizing originals, a testament to his voracious musical appetite and relentless creativity.

Whether it’s beneath the shimmering lights of Ultra Music Festival in Miami, or in the pulsating heart of his hometown, Las Vegas, Clark’s performances have quickly garnered the adoration of crowds, leaving them begging for encore after encore. His upcoming debut in New York City promises to be another milestone in his fast-ascending DJing career, a testament to his raw talent and unwavering dedication.
