But here’s what makes it exciting: unlike your age or your genes, your VO2 max is something you can actually change.”

Precision Measurement Through the Breath

Historically, an accurate VO2 max reading required a cumbersome hospital exercise test, and while fitness wearables now offer estimates, those figures often fail to match true clinical measurements. To remove the guesswork, Dr. Brucker uses PNOĒ, a clinical-grade metabolic breath-analysis system.

During a PNOĒ assessment, the patient exercises while wearing a lightweight mask that captures every breath.
