The International Women’s Conference, founded by Dr. Neva Alexander in 2017, will return to Hofstra University in Long Island on Saturday, March 8, 2025. What began as a small gathering with a big vision has grown into a global platform for women to connect, learn, and empower one another. Each year, the conference draws participants from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared desire to break barriers, embrace opportunities, and redefine success.

Dr. Neva’s vision for the conference is rooted in her belief that empowerment is a collective experience. “The International Women’s Conference is more than an event; it’s a movement. It’s about creating a space where women can connect, learn, and leave inspired to reach new heights in their lives and careers,” she says. The impact of this mission is evident in the countless success stories shared by attendees over the years, from women negotiating career advancements to forming lifelong collaborations and mentorships.

This year’s conference promises an extraordinary experience, featuring keynote speakers who are leaders in their fields. Dr. Susan Posner, President of Hofstra University, will share her insights on education, leadership, and inclusion. Joining her is Dr. Pearl McMillian, Chief Medical Officer of the Government of the Bahamas Ministry of Health and Wellness. She brings a wealth of expertise in global healthcare and women’s wellness. Dr. Neva will contribute her signature blend of inspiration and strategy, drawing from her international experiences, including speaking engagements at the United Nations and the International Summit Youth to Youth in Dubai. Special guest Monica Morales, a dynamic reporter from Pix11, will serve as the event’s Master of Ceremonies, adding her unique energy to the day.
