A leading optics manufacturer, HIKMICRO, will show its newest hunting equipment at JAGD & HUND Dortmund 2025. The hunting event, happening at Germany’s Messe Dortmund from January 28 to February 2, 2025, will be the perfect place for the world-leading optics brand to show two new devices: the FALCON 2.0 and CONDOR LRF 2.0 thermal monoculars. These new products follow HIKMICRO’s “Mastery Made Easy” approach and show the company’s promise to “Continually Make Crafted Confidence” for hunters.
Advancing Thermal Technology
HIKMICRO’s research team has worked on improving one-handed use over the past year, leading to many improvements in the FALCON and CONDOR models. Mr. Wang, a HIKMICRO research expert, says, “We have made big improvements in ‘Mastery Performance’ and ‘One-handed, easy operation’ features while keeping high image quality to give users the best viewing experience.”
HIKMICRO conducted careful market research to create these new products and focused on users’ needs. The product team believes that good new products should have new technology and uses to make hunting better and easier. The careful development process included lots of testing, factory trials, design planning, and proof testing, ending with real-world testing by professional hunters in tough conditions.
Enhanced Image Quality and Usability
FALCON 2.0 and CONDOR LRF 2.0 follow the idea of “Mastery Made Easy,” with better image quality and improved one-handed use. The main difference between these two products is where they place the laser rangefinder and their ergonomic design.
Image quality, which is key for finding and quickly identifying targets, will be much better in both models. They will have a more sensitive 15mK thermal detector to detect tiny temperature changes. This will make the images on the 0.49″ screen show more detail, letting hunters see every small part of the hunting scene.
The devices also fix common problems hunters face. The Shutterless Image System (HSIS) stops the picture from freezing, giving smooth, nonstop viewing. The battery (type 21700) lasts longer, working for over 6 hours. Connecting to the Sight App adds more features, like watching live views, sharing pictures and videos, and getting product updates.
Ergonomics and User-Friendly Design
HIKMICRO will focus on ergonomic design and easy use in the new models. The CONDOR LRF 2.0 and FALCON 2.0 will have a rear focus wheel and buttons in a line, making them simple for hunters of all ages. The focusing part will work with just one finger, letting hunters quickly adjust between close and far targets.
The buttons will be simpler, with clear up and down arrows to help hunters find the controls even in total darkness. They are quiet to avoid scaring animals, and the power button will be placed to prevent accidental turning on.
Both models will have different carrying choices, including a neck strap, wrist strap, and carrying bag, so hunters can keep the device ready. The CONDOR LRF 2.0 will be compact and fit nicely in hand, while the FALCON 2.0 will keep a cylindrical shape, giving hunters different options to choose from.
HIKMICRO’s Vision for the Future
Stefan Li, HIKMICRO’s overseas director, has emphasized the company’s commitment to improving thermal technology. The company plans to keep developing better, faster, and simpler ways for hunters to use night hunting equipment. HIKMICRO aims to stay a leader in the thermal optics field by advancing technology while honoring traditional hunting methods and quality craftsmanship.
At JAGD & HUND 2025, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts can try these new thermal monoculars in person. The event will show how HIKMICRO is changing the way hunters use their equipment, making thermal technology easier to use and more available than ever before.
