Building something meaningful can often lead to confusion among others.
The typical 9-to-5 worker may not understand why you’re working late into the night, adjusting ad copy, or onboarding a new client during your “weekend.” They may not grasp the bigger picture. But for Vincent Zampelli, that’s perfectly fine.
As the founder of 24 Hour Social and Modern Business Marketing, Zampelli has built two successful marketing agencies from the ground up (MBM was founded alongside his business partner and co-founder Mark Gonzales in 2024 — they both bootstrapped MBM without any outside funding or assistance) — relying on determination, systems, and consistent effort.
Today, his companies generate millions in revenue, have created over 1 million content pieces for clients, and are highly regarded for delivering both done-for-you content and ROI-focused SEO for small businesses across the nation.
But that success? It didn’t stem from a hidden shortcut. It came from a strong belief in the journey.
“Everyone desires the final result. Very few are willing to become fully absorbed in the process. But that’s the key difference.”
You’re Not Meant to Be Understood
According to Zampelli, many young entrepreneurs make the mistake of seeking validation or approval in the early stages of their careers.
“You’ll outgrow some people. You’ll become ‘out of place’ to those still caught in the conventional mindset,” he explains. “But all the greats — those who truly succeeded—possessed an unwavering belief in themselves.”
Rather than chasing validation, he pursued mastery. Instead of blending in, he focused on creating. That discipline ultimately led to freedom and the respect that naturally follows substantial results.
Business is Not a Highlight Reel — It’s a War of Attrition
Zampelli doesn’t sugarcoat the reality:
“There will be months when it feels like nothing is going right. Clients may disappear. Ads might fail. You’ll question everything. And if you’re not prepared for that, you may walk away before you make it through.”
But he didn’t.
Even when his Facebook ad account was hacked, resulting in the loss of months’ worth of inbound leads, he continued to show up.
“Consistency is my advantage,” he reflects. “Not talent. Simply the decision to keep going.”
Take Breaks. But Take Real Ones.
Though Zampelli is recognized for his strong work ethic, he’s also intentional about recovery.
Whether it’s skiing 20,000 vertical feet in a single day, golfing several times a week, or heading to Miami for a weekend on a yacht — it’s all part of the approach.
“Burnout doesn’t stem from working hard. It comes from working without a sense of reward. Make sure you earn those breaks, then enjoy them fully.”
You don’t need to take vacations constantly, but it’s essential to have moments that remind you of your purpose. These resets fuel the energy for your next phase of work.
The Discipline Behind the Flex
The results speak for themselves:
- 24 Hour Social provides clients with home services, healthcare, coaching, real estate, and more with consistent weekly content and reels.
- Their paid media campaigns typically deliver 4–6x return on ad spend (ROAS), driven by well-crafted creatives and targeted offers.
- Modern Business Marketing offers a reliable SEO engine that consistently builds digital assets over time — no fluff, just consistent results.
This wasn’t a matter of chance. It was the outcome of a well-structured execution plan.
“I’ve put in the effort. Built the teams. Created the systems. That’s why I’m free. And anyone else can achieve it — if they’re willing to continue, even when things aren’t enjoyable.”
Final Words for the Hungry
Zampelli’s advice for the next wave of entrepreneurs?
- Build through periods of monotony.
- Embrace being misunderstood.
- Prioritize your mental and physical health.
- And don’t forget to enjoy life while you build.
“There’s no exact blueprint for this. But if you persist long enough, you will see the results.”
