Asking who someone is, isn’t always as straightforward of a question as it might seem. Especially not for White Dove, an anonymous singer focused on activism through art.

Back to her roots

White Dove was born in a desert where she was visited and touched by God. Her name is translated from El Karawan, or singing bird. Throughout her life, she has stayed on the straight and narrow path, never straying from it. Many have tried to bring her down, but her response has always been with love. Her parents would brag about her presence to people, bringing them more luck and peace. She never believed this until she began to travel overseas and meet children.

Before the Music

White Dove worked as a medic, where she developed a passion for helping those in dire need. This work allowed her to live in six different countries and speak five languages. The children she met were in heartbreaking situations. White Dove witnessed a child carrying two siblings on his back because radicals murdered his parents. She witnessed other children dying, crying, and begging for mercy, something no child should ever experience. White Dove decided then and there to vow her life to sing for them, about them, about what she has seen and experienced. God gave her the gift of a voice, which she intends to use for what most of the world can’t see and understand.

White Dove has been saving children caught in human and organ trafficking since 1999. Despite the numerous altruistic acts completed by White Dove, she was raised not to gossip about her good deeds with others nor ask for money or donations. She believes that when God gives you wealth, you must spread it, and that’s what she is doing silently. The kindness she puts into the world is between those impacted by it and her creator.

It is the above reasons why White Dove wishes to remain anonymous, so the sole focus is on the messaging behind her music. So, who is White Dove? She is an artist focused on creating impactful music that raises awareness about pressing social issues, such as famine, poverty, human trafficking, and the war on a global scale. Her goal is to combat human and organ trafficking in children while serving as an advocate for victims of violence, war, famine, inequality, suicides, and more. She doesn’t need fame and fortune to do what is right and what her heart tells her to do in this world.

White Dove believes that music is a spirit. It is not the music you hear today that creates change, but the soul behind that music that creates impact. When you are in so much pain and sing, your pain attracts others who are suffering. When your lyrics are powerful and meaningful, it creates thunder and hope.

About her work

White Dove aims to create a program where people worldwide who suffered abuse reach out and specify a song they want White Dove to create for them. This can be dedicated to someone or simply a message to deliver. The song will be written and performed by White Dove and include the requester’s name. Requests will be filtered to ensure it matches the mission. There is nothing in this world that can’t be solved without love and compassion.

‘Hurts like Hell’ is the debut single from White Dove, which is a message to anyone who has survived trauma or an especially hard time in their life and persevered. Her second single, ‘My Son,’ is set for release on January 28th, 2023, and is a message to mothers and fathers who have lost their sons through war and famine, bigotry and assassination, suicide, and politics.

“When you break your back and can no longer stand, your son becomes your cane and spine.” White Dove

Recently White Dove partnered with Defy Recordings, who, in return, believed fully in White Dove’s message and cause. White Dove has been working very closely with producer Robert L. Smith and is set to record her third song, “Hungry,” with him in Manhattan, New York. If one thing is for certain, White Dove’s dedication to her music and to the suffering children will continue until her last breath.
