What’s the driving force that causes you to write about a certain life event?

Life is an ever-changing journey of growth and exploration. It is a unique experience for each individual, filled with highs and lows, successes and failures, joys and sorrows. Life can be full of surprises, and it can be unpredictable and challenging. But life is also full of beauty, love, and purpose. It is a precious gift that each of us has the opportunity to use to make the world a better place. But how can we make the world a better place using our life experiences? It’s easy, to share with the world through your writing.

People write stories about their life experiences because it is a way of preserving memories and understanding their own lives more deeply. Writing life stories can help a person reflect on their past and gain a new perspective on their life. It can also help them to identify patterns, mistakes, and successes. Writing life stories can also be beneficial to family and friends, providing them with a better understanding of the writer’s life and giving them the opportunity to connect with the writer in a unique way.

People are driven to write about their life stories for many reasons. Writing about one’s life story can be a way to gain a better understanding of oneself, and process difficult experiences. It can also be a way to share one’s story and lessons with others, making a lasting impact on future generations. Writing a life story can also be therapeutic and cathartic, providing a sense of closure and peace. Finally, writing a life story can be a way to leave a legacy, preserving one’s memories and values for generations to come.

Some might find it strange writing about their experiences in life. But there are some stories worth being told in everyone’s life and very few are ever captured. It’s not that those experiences were very noteworthy or spectacular, but they were personal to you and maybe that’s the reason they hold a special place in our hearts. On the other hand, some life stories are more universal like the special places we spend our childhood and the towns where everyone knows you. All these thoughts and feelings will be lost if someone doesn’t write about them. So, it with these thoughts in mind and the catharsis it provides, venture forth and tell your story of life, love, mistakes, joys, sorrows & some tragedies that are all part of the human experience.

According to Robert, author of The Last Train to Hicksville, “Everyone has a “Coming-of-age” story and a special place where they grew up.” Typically, this will always be considered your “Home” unless you would rather forget it. We generally have fond and heart-warming memories from our youth on the journey to young adulthood. This is my story of the fond memories like I have and, fun times and places I loved. I grew up in the small towns of Hicksville, Plainview and Syosset in Long Island, New York.
