Nick Luciano’s video-making journey began in his hometown, a small part of North East, Maryland. He started by documenting the simplicity of his daily life and montage videos of his favorite computer games. Eventually, with the rise and popularity of Vine, Nick found himself on the platform with over 30,000 followers, but the success was short-lived as the platform shut down. Wanting to put up engaging content in the digital space, Nick tried his luck again through YouTube and Instagram, but he did not see the results he was aiming for.
Losing motivation, Nick Luciano decided to direct his focus on his education instead. “My dream slowly started to fade, so I put all my effort into my education and getting my engineering degree. Two years into college, I moved from the East Coast to Texas and started living the cowboy lifestyle, where I began competing in rodeos. I then graduated from the University of North Texas College of Engineering in 2019 with a 4.0 GPA,” said Nick.
Straight out of college, Nick Luciano immediately landed a job as a mechanical engineer for the US Army, a position that required him to work with high-speed cameras. Without realizing it, his career rekindled his love for videography and fueled his passion for creating audio-visual content. Being mentored by two experts also increased his desire to go back to making videos. Hence the beginning of the Luciano brand.
“I started my company Luciano Media LLC and began filming small projects for friends and then progressed to weddings and promo videos for equestrians. I then realized I was able to merge my love for the western lifestyle and content creation. I continued to learn more about filmmaking and cameras, and I soon realized I now had an outlet to express my other creative passions that includes motivational speaking and cinematography,” said Nick Luciano.
It wasn’t long after Nick Luciano entered and joined the wave of TikTok. Slowly building his followers on the platform, the content creator presented his western lifestyle with a humorous twist. Beginning with 100,000 followers, Nick has now amassed over four million fans on TikTok through dedication and his unique messages. His influence on the platform reached an even greater height when his Sugar Crash video went viral, gaining over 220 million views and 43 million likes.
