Professional actor Lucas Carvalho Lockwood is a testament to how talent, perseverance, and passion can pave a person’s way to success.
Acting has always piqued Lucas’ interest growing up, but it was not until high school that he started taking action about it. He enrolled in all drama, ensemble, dance, and show choir classes he could get himself into. His passion for acting deepened from thereon, and he was compelled to pursue it professionally.
Now residing in Los Angeles, Lucas has over nine years of experience in the entertainment industry through film, television, and theater. Acting became a significant part of his life when he realized how much he enjoyed telling tales and being the voice of people whose stories would otherwise go untold. Through acting, Lucas gets to challenge himself on portraying different characters with varied origins and connect with people from all walks of life.
Lucas has landed notable roles as a result of his hard work and dedication. He already secured five commercials and a part in HBO’s American Gangsters – Trap Queens just in the first month of this year. He is currently signed under the top-ranking talent management company Kreativ Artists or Kreativ Media Partners and diligently takes part in seven to ten auditions a week.
As a further testament to his talent, he has trained and worked alongside actors like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Bruce Willis, Omar Benson Miller, Arielle Kebbel, Morris Chestnut, Donald Faison, Abbie Cornish, Courtney Eaton, Rainey Qualley and Leonardo Nam, to name a few.
Lucas devotes himself to constant improvement and actively trains with renowned acting coaches in Hollywood, such as Lesly Kahn, Annie Grindlay, and David Rountree, to hone his craft. He spends roughly three hours a day sharpening his acting skills. While doing all these, he also makes sure to take care of his physique and stay in shape through CrossFit.
Furthermore, Lucas does not forget to connect with people in the industry. He regularly attends networking events, in addition to using his TikTok and Instagram accounts to bring positivity, laughter, and encouragement to his fans.
At the heart of Lucas’s dedication to perfecting his craft is the aspiration to be a role model and inspiration to current and future generations by leading by example, spreading love, and helping those in need. He finds joy in encouraging others to chase their passion as much as he enjoys acting.
Driven by his desire and commitment to motivate others, Lucas has volunteered, spoken, and performed on various platforms, including FOX, HBO, Amazon Prime, and Netflix. He has also given inspiring messages in schools, hospitals, and nursing homes.
