Ladyy.atm: New Jersey’s Latest Musician on the Rise

New Jersey has been a new hotpot of musical talent, with new artists on the rise as of late. One artist that music lovers should keep their eyes on is Ladyy.atm, a Jersey native that’s quickly taking the local and tri-state music scene by storm. Her latest single, “Hush,” is quickly taking over airwaves only after a few days online. But the musical artist has promised that there are more hits in the pipeline.

Ladyy.atm is a hip-hop artist with a grungy sound that blends well with her high-energy beats and rhymes. She is based out of New Jersey but also has been building a name globally via her virtual releases.

“I wanted to become a musician because of the struggle I went through,” shares Ladyy.atm. “I needed an outlet, and music was that for me. It gave me a way to escape the pain by writing down my emotions. I felt I could help somebody by using my music to escape their pain and struggle too.”

Lately, there haven’t been too many female names in the hip-hop scene, especially among new entries. But Ladyy.atm hopes to change that as she continues to climb out of the dark and present her work to the world. The artist’s first big breakthrough came after she released her first album entitled The Tip Off, which included hard-hitting tracks like “Srt,” “Kick It,” “Degree,” “Boss Playa,” “Now!,” “Pick & Choose,” and “God’s Plan.”

What makes Ladyy.atm stand out readily is her sound and flow. It also helps that the way she dresses is loud at best. “I do my own thing, whatever I feel I do,” shares the rapper. “I’m disciplined, thanks to my playing basketball up until I graduated high school. With that said, I’m focused and hard on myself. I know how to accept honest criticism and adjust when necessary.”

Life wasn’t all a bed of roses for the rapper growing up. At the age of sixteen, her father passed away. They didn’t have a lot of luxuries, but her father always made it a point to help others out. She owes it to him to continue that legacy and emulate the example that her pops set for her and the people around her.

On top of basketball, her music gave Ladyy.atm a sense of meaning growing up. She wrote tracks and formed rhymes even before she put her music out for the world to hear. The artist has an excellent work ethic that has taken her this far. But she knows that there’s more in store on her journey to musical greatness. Accordingly, she’s ready to outwork anyone and put in the necessary effort to make a lasting impact on the rap scene.

What motivates Ladyy.atm most in her quest for musical greatness is her family. She hopes that this path will lead to a full-time musical career that will give her family a comfortable life. “I’m building a legacy by creating generational wealth for my future children,” she adds. Ladyy.atm also builds on her faith in God as a foundation for all she does.
