(Tokyo, Japan / November 14, 2024) HYDE, the renowned Japanese rock artist and the lead vocalist of L’Arc-en-Ciel and VAMPS, recently released his highly anticipated solo album, ‘HYDE [INSIDE].’ Released digitally on September 13, 2024, and with physical copies made available last October 16, this marks HYDE’s first original solo album in approximately five years since the success of his “ANTI” album in 2019.
The solo comeback album, four years in development, showcases HYDE’s remarkable versatility through collaborations with 14 acclaimed producers and musicians from across the globe. “It’s a deeply personal exploration of emotions and experiences, crafted with the help of some incredible talents from around the world,” HYDE explains.
The 13-track album includes diverse songs, from hard-hitting rock numbers to emotive ballads. Notable tracks include “PANDORA,” the theme song for Square Enix’s “Star Ocean 6 THE DIVINE FORCE,” and “LAST SONG,” a rock ballad accompanied by a music video filmed entirely in Austria.
“Music has always been my way of connecting with people,” HYDE concludes. “With ‘HYDE [INSIDE],’ I’m inviting listeners to explore not just my music but also the emotions and experiences that have shaped it. I hope this album resonates with old and new fans and brings us closer together through shared experiences.”
Building on the album’s momentum, HYDE has embarked on an ambitious global tour that spans multiple continents. The “HYDE [INSIDE] LIVE 2024 WORLD TOUR” launched with remarkable performances at the Dongguan Strawberry Music Festival in China and the Busan International Rock Festival in South Korea.
