Jerry Morgan, known to many as Bubba Dub, is a phenom in his own right, always knowing how to light up a room and bring laughter to people with his remarkable and unique take on humor. Now, as an undeniable sensation in the realm of comedy, Bubba is breaking barriers and fighting off stereotypes, cementing his standing as an exceptional comedian.
Bubba Dub came from humble beginnings. Born and raised in Alto, Texas, he knew that he always had a knack for comedy. Although he did not land his first gig until he became an adult, he always knew how to tickle people with his slapstick humor at a very young age. By 2018, Bubba dominated the Texas comedy scene and landed gigs left and right. In addition, he’s come up with his very own YouTube channel where he became famous for his ‘Snitching on Rogers’ skits, making him an instant viral laughing sensation; his YouTube channel sits with almost 150k subscribers, while his Instagram page garnered more than 200k followers. Some of the world’s celebrated artists have used his comedic videos and slurs, including Slim Thug, 50 Cent, Gille the Kid, and many more. Despite taking the social media realm by storm, Bubba still stands by his love of improv and stand-up comedy, acquiring a loyal fanbase.
Although not all would refer to his style of comedy as appropriate, considering that it consists of foul language and highly adult subject matters, it sets him apart from the usual bevy of aspiring comedic individuals, thus making him more likable. Bubba has collaborated with plenty of other comedic figures, including J.J. Williamson from Mississippi, Tone X from North Carolina, and Desi Banks from Atlanta, Georgia, to name a few. Before the COVID 19 pandemic hit and swept the globe, he headlined cities and opened for well-known comedians in states like Alabama, Houston, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texarkana, and more, with multiple shows that sold out. He also had the opportunity to be a special guest in MTV’s Ridiculousness.
Now that Bubba Dub has established a steadier career path, his contributions to pop culture soars, going as far as having a cameo on Pop Smoke’s song “Snitching,” featuring Quavo and Future, from his last album Shoot for The Stars Aim for The Moon which surfaced in July of 2020.
Bubba enjoys his craft and inspires others with his funny antics, but he knows he can be more. He now actively works to score movie deals and acting gigs to expand his platform and spread more joy with his superb comedic talent. Bubba and his team are working tirelessly to ensure that his purpose of bringing laughter doesn’t get lost along the way.
