Dollar Bill: The Story of the Resilient Rising Star of Hip Hop, R&B, Rap, and Reggae Music

Dollar Bill, also known as Alfred Alexander, is an up-and-coming artist making waves in the music industry with his unique mix of Hip Hop, R&B, Rap, and Reggae. His music amalgamates his life experiences, which have been anything but easy. Growing up in the Little Haiti community, the singer attended Miami Edison Middle and had to navigate the lawless streets and fend for himself, constantly fighting to survive the hardship.

Music became a way out for Dollar Bill, and he took to it with all his heart. He started playing the Trombone in school and eventually discovered his passion for recording music in what he considers a eureka moment. He also drew inspiration from choir music in Sunday Church.

The rising star has managed to be seen and has collaborated with several successful artists, including Gold Money Glee,Larry Dogg, Desloc Piccalo, Franky Diamonds, D.J. Big Will from H.G.M.G. Ice Billion Berg, Young C The King, El-Nuri, Nelz Get Live, S.R.F. Nate, Grillem Black, Queen, Lil Bit Novachild, KB Leanin’ Xephiios and Last Name First among many others. His first feature was in 2020 when he collaborated with the reggae artist Jr. Pinchers. 

Today he works with Jr. Pinchers and has a working partnership with the well-known dance house star, Skillibeng. Together, they are in the process of making an Old Heads Remix even though Dollar Bill and Jr. Pinchers have some financial disputes and issues at the moment 

He draws inspiration from the legendary Tupac Amaru Shakur, his idol since childhood.

One can see this influence in the singer’s music, including ‘The Black Sheep,’ “Old Heads,” and “Benjamin Franklin.”
