DeDis Travel Opening People Up to Travel Once More

This time last year, the world saw most of tourism and travel come to a complete halt as the COVID-19 pandemic forced border closures worldwide. But as vaccine roll-outs prove effective, many people look forward to traveling once more once borders open. Ready to help people book their dream destinations and travels is up-and-coming travel agency DeDis Travel.

The company was founded by Diana Longwill, a native of the Eastern Washington area and an avid travel enthusiast. Diana, or DeDi to her friends and family, is the fourth among six siblings. Growing up, she had a stay-at-home mom and a veterinarian father who would take time to travel together as much as they could. Her upbringing would give DeDi two of her biggest passions in life—animals and traveling. “I have always wanted to travel,” shares Diana. “I even joined the Army to jaunt around the world. I want to bring other people to different places to enlighten them about the world around them.”

Travel has long been one of the greatest joys of many people. Some travel for leisure and family time and others travel for professional opportunities. Then there are those who travel to experience a greater sense of perspective, spirituality, or clarity. Diana believes in the power of traveling to give people all this and more and is determined to play her part in making that happen.

Most of the world still has restrictions on travel due to the pandemic, but many people are starting to book trips after over a year of sheltering in place. Governments are discovering better ways to keep health protocols while opening up their borders to tourism. In recent times, Australia and New Zealand announced that they would be creating a travel bubble to allow quarantine-free travel to and from the two nations. It won’t be long until other countries start following suit.

Domestic tourism has also picked up as more people are jumping between states, bringing their economies back to life, and spending time with friends and loved ones on adventures in different parts of the United States. But for Diana, she’s looking forward most to international travel. “I have dreamed of Greece, Italy, France, Scotland, and Ireland, where my dad was from,” shares DeDi. “I hope to travel to Northern Europe, Switzerland, and maybe Russia and Germany too. They could always pique my interest.”

Diana maintains that she hasn’t done much international traveling, but she hopes to change by starting this new venture that she intends to use to fund more travels in the future. And it makes perfect sense to her that she should achieve her travel goals by helping others reach theirs. Through her company DeDis Travel, Diana now offers travel specials at highly affordable rates. Her specials include a wide array of cruise experiences that could start as low as $80 per head.

Through this new business venture, Diana Longwill looks forward to expanding people’s horizons through travel and deepening their appreciation for other cultures and life as a whole. Learn more by visiting DeDis Travel’s website.
