Rubik has quickly gained attention for its innovative solution to large-scale real estate investment. As the first platform in the industry to deliver an all-in-one experience to investors in single-family homes, Rubik has answered a growing demand for simple, efficient ways to find and buy real estate. Within the first 18 months of its initial launch, Rubik has already facilitated over 100 property sales while raising $3.5M in its seed round. It is a clear sign that their model is working – and now they are poised for rapid growth within their New York-based marketing and operations teams.
As CEO Amar Sehic explains, Rubik delivers a solution that has been long overdue in an industry that has been reluctant to change.
“We take the guesswork and manual work out of identifying properties and buying them on an institutional scale,” Sehic explains. “90% of properties that investors find comes from networks of brokers and wholesalers, but the problem is that the system is fragmented, making it hard to analyze deals and understand how to assemble and transact them. There are a lot of operational problems as well as data and efficiency issues, but our platform solves that by digitizing everything.”
Rubik has solved a critical problem in real estate investing by centralizing the entire process and delivering transparent data on properties while making the transaction process simple. Investors can now find properties (both on and off the market), connect with sellers, bid on homes, and complete transactions. In short, the platform has reduced the process from dealing with hundreds of different parties and operational modes to completing deals in only a few clicks.
It is a transformational platform that has gained the attention of Silicon Valley venture capitalists, who have already put millions of dollars into Rubik. Now, they are expanding their operations in the United States – and are seeking driven professionals who want to contribute to one of the fastest-growing tech firms in the country.
“We are a startup in a billion-dollar industry that is best for digital disruption, so there is huge potential for our growing team,” Sehic says. “You have the opportunity to build something new and to be pioneers in this space.
“More than that, you will be working on a team of really smart and talented people, from sales to engineering to design. We are a company that is expected to double or triple in the next 12-18 months, so we are looking for people who want to join a company that has the potential to grow exponentially in the coming years.”
Rubik has built a lot of excitement within the industry, gaining the attention of venture capitalists as well as talented individuals who want to make a difference in a growing organization. Their team is made up of professionals from around the world, including Europe, Nicaragua, the Philippines, and the United States. As a company that emphasizes diversity and inclusion, Rubik continues to innovate and grow because of their workplace culture.
“I am originally from Bosnia, and my co-founders are from Italy and Kosovo, and we love having people join from all over the world with different cultures and perspectives,” Sehic says. “Our different viewpoints challenge us to be better, so if you are interested in joining a team that values intellectual diversity, this is the place.”
Sehic says that although they are actively searching for talented professionals within the New York area where their United States office is based, they also have openings for remote work. Most importantly, employees have to be willing to approach new challenges and help contribute to the growth of the company.
“As a slice of the overall real estate industry, it’s a niche, but if you look at absolute numbers, there are $200B+ dollars transacted annually here, and it is heating up now,” Sehic says. “If you want to have an impact in creating technology that nobody has built before, now is the right time.”
