Max Frater on Starting From the Bottom to Become the Top Consultant Nationwide

While most 15 year olds were playing video games and hanging out with their friends, Max Frater obtained special permission to start working as a waiter at a local assisted living facility.  It was the only place willing to entertain hiring someone his age, with his parent’s permission of course. Today, Max Frater is one of the top producing merchant service sales consultants in the United States, a position he would not have reached without a long history of hard jobs and valuable business experiences.

Max Frater’s endeavors include working for small businesses, serving as a pizza delivery boy while also working the phones and cash registers.  He also worked as a janitor for commercial office buildings on nights and weekends, and later a general maintenance man during the summers he was off of school.  Saying he got his hands dirty is an understatement.

He would also delve into sales, going from phone sales to door-to-door B2B solution sales. Max would later attend a private college where he majored in business administration and management, but his real skill was networking. He started to secure relationships with partners and investors, developing into an entrepreneur and small business owner.

With more connections to his name, Max started operating in several industries. From shipping services to eyewear manufacturing, he was able to gain decades worth of experience in a short number of years. Looking to manage the costs of his endeavors, Max personally oversaw many roles himself. “I built inventory systems, stocked shelves, sold services to our clients, and even assisted with fulfillment,” he shared, “I also collected the payments and handled the bookkeeping.”

Despite running multiple businesses, Max was always searching for more opportunities. Credit card processing became a pain point for the entrepreneur, prompting him to source a solution. He noticed the processing industry had a void for knowledgeable consultants who understood the needs of the businesses they serviced. Through his research, Max found solutions and formed relationships, approaching his competitors with the knowledge that they shared similar issues. 

It was in becoming a solution provider for business owners that Max found his niche. “This is the job that I was made for,” he proudly shared, “This is the culmination of my life experiences and career which led me down so many paths, only for that path to turn into a means to help an even more diverse pool of businesses.”

Although there are several solution providers in the space, Max Frater stands out from the rest, owing to his experiences in so many businesses. Being a business owner, he has the advantage of understanding his clients’ struggles. While many consultants pass their clients off to an integration support phone line, Max delivers service beyond the level of his clients’ expectations.  He knows first hand what they expect, and he aims to please.

Today, Max has established himself as one of the leading merchant processing consultants in the United States, specializing in assisting large and small businesses with unique solutions that can help them save money and facilitate easy means to collect payments. Max is now the top consultant nationwide through his hard work, dedication, and compatibility in the industry.

Despite his amassed success, Max Frater foresees his expansion beyond the United States and into more markets overseas. “I’ve been focused on expanding solutions to markets that need creative and unique solutions,” Max revealed. He also hopes to continue growing and expanding to more businesses in the United States and to continue to cater to all businesses. “Wherever a business exists that’s in need of a creative payment solution, I want to be there as well”, says Max Frater.
