Born in the Bronx and raised in Queens, Gregory got his start in security after graduating from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Planning. Rather than jumping straight into a supervisory or managerial position, he became a security officer to gain a full range of knowledge and experience in the industry.
Over the years, Gregory has held every rank in the security industry, from officer to CEO of his company, Concept Security & Investigations, Inc. He has been recognized for his accomplishments by being inducted into the USA Honor Society and the Biltmore Who’s Who among Executives and Professionals.
Gregory’s achievements go beyond his accolades. He is a compassionate and generous individual dedicated to nurturing self-sufficiency in others. By offering security training and certification programs within the community, he has enabled countless individuals to secure prosperous careers and become self-reliant rather than reliant on others.
One of Gregory’s proudest achievements is his contract with the City of New York Housing Authority, which trained and certified residents to become independent. He also duplicated this effort with Goodwill Industries and NY Works. His actions change the security industry one security officer at a time.
Gregory understands that security personnel are the face of his company. So he is on a crusade to improve the image of security personnel by providing extensive training and mentoring to his staff and other leaders in the industry. He aims to ensure that security personnel is not just working advertisements but knowledgeable and respected professionals.
