Promotional gifting has received a makeover thanks to Gemnote. It’s the easiest way to create and send premium custom products – almost like a handwritten note that sends a personal touch to valued clients, employees, and event attendees.
The minority and women-owned service fuses retail and promotion to create gift-giving expertise that connects people and elevates branding on sought-after quality items. Find all the best brands in one place (Patagonia, North Face, S’well, Native Union, and more) and get your brand’s message out there.
Chances are if a gift is personalized, it has a better chance of being valued. Gemnote makes sending a personally designed gift convenient by simply sending a quick email to the company. The seamless portal lets businesses gift high-end personalized items within minutes, creating a wow factor that comes to life and will be cherished by the recipient.
One of the keys to Gemnote’s success lies in its internal software which streamlines the ordering process, allowing large, detailed orders to be placed and processed in minutes. Brands such as Slack have enjoyed using Gemnote in their rebranding efforts. One of their largest customers, Google Design, turned to them to create an event-specific box. This helped Gemnote grow more than 150% in revenue last year!
Gemnote was founded by childhood best friends, Ashley Wong Tsui and Diane Liu, co-founder and COO. Launched from Y Combinator (a startup accelerator), their mission is to use the best parts of tech, often attributed to distancing people, to help people build closer relationships. The duo set their sights on the swag and gifting sector and discovered ways to make gift-giving easier for their clients, impactful for relationships, and more sustainable for the planet.
Ashley was previously the head of product at Spoonrocket, where she once wrote and sent out around 100 handwritten cards and gifts to the company’s investors and advisors. She quickly realized the difficulty of maintaining a “personal touch” as a company scales in size, which planted the seed for Gemnote.
With Gemnote, online curators help select a budget, recommend creative ways to customize (i.e., etching, embroidery), and assist with fulfillment and warehousing. Customers choose from unique gift ideas or have items hand selected for a gift box for their audience. Whichever way they choose, the outcome will leave a lasting impression and make each recipient feel valued.
